nice songs!

Greetings.

I went through a patch of really busy night shifts. Boy! Am I glad that block of night shifts came to an end! At last, long awaited break. So, I asked my wife what she would like to hear by the way of nice songs.. She is with me, enjoying the evening. I was lloking forward this too!. Well she said " Dey, I love you! So, how about you post some nice love songs?' I have no worries about that.. She wants love songs..... I post love songs! ( Guys, if you don't have a lover, I am sorry.... Go and find one soon!). She said she anted to express herself before I post any songs. I asked her " what do you mean?"... She said " I like to say who I am! I noticeed you got kind of not quite right, man!".. So I asked " How do you like to express yourself?'.... This is what she said.....

I have posted this song before in Forum but I am posting it again cos I really had a nice time being all alone for 5 days in India.
It's nice to connect with your ownself at least once a year.
This is my second time being alone in India.
Feels better to pray all alone.

So its back to Dancing with myself!

Greetings.

so, I said to my wife, "may I go on with love songs, please?".. She said " Ok, da... Hope you have chosen well!".. Trouble is, she seldom listen to Tamizh songs. Sorry, it's hard to get Tamizh songs here. We don't download songs... She is happy with what's available... English songs.. I am posting lyrics for every song.....

Opening the account with Alicia Keys ... When you really love someone... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28NMtJ0H-Mo

Lyrics - ALICIA KEYS LYRICS - When You Really Love Someone

Cheers!

Raghy Ji

The song is from the movie " Nenjil Oru Aalayam " [ meant to be remade in Hindi as " Dil Ek Mandir " -
never got made - some legal issues ]

Actors - Kalyan Kumar [ Doctor ], Devika [ Patient's wife ] & Muthuraman [ Patient - also his debut film ]

Story Theme : Devika is compelled to take her husband [ Muthuraman ] to Kalyan Kumar [ Doctor ] for
some major complication. Muthuraman then comes to know that his wife and the Doc already know each other,
have great affection for each other and had once even thought of getting married.

Twist of circumstances - they [ Dr & Devika ] get separated. She again meets the Dr years later - this time as
the wife of Muthuraman who has a terrible medical complication that only Kalyan Kumar is capable of handling.

Song situation : While he is himself in physical agony due to the ailment, and having got to know about his
wife's pre-marital affection/attraction, Muthuraman tries to put her mind at ease.

[I really am no Master of languages - still will try my hand at translating it for you - please forgive errors.]

If all one's thoughts were to manifest as reality, then there is no God!
If one were to keep thinking of the past, then there will never be peace of mind!

A concluded story does not continue in God’s script

A continued story does not end, in a man’s house [ read mind ]

Thousands of thoughts may arise in a mind with thousand entry points
Who enters and who exits, one never gets noticed
If just one inhabits inside, there is no problem
While the one stays, if the other enters, there will be never be peace of mind

Where does life begin and , where and how does it end (?),
No one is aware that this is the path, this is the journey
The paths keep meandering, changing and finally the journey ends
if one can reconcile the meanderings/changes, then one becomes sober.

As will most translations, the essence I am sure, is lost - I hope that I haven't done a shoddy job.

Dear Yay Yem,

Sridhat did made the movie in hindi as Dil EK MAndir with Rajendrakumar and meenakumari... all the shots camera position etc were copied to the last dot. The movie became a great hit and estabilished Sridhar a great director in hindi also.

Rafi - Yaad Na Jaaye - Dil Ek Mandir [1963] - YouTube this is one of the great songs of the movie... Cheers

Dear Manoharkumar Ji

I missed that - thanks, I stand corrected.

Yes, I have been lying low for a while - some of the topics like whether God is Veg/Non-Veg
are not exactly 'thrilling' to me.

As I had told Tmt VR, I was just keeping my "Eyes Wide Shut" .

Yay Yem
