Greetings.

Small eyes; very large dreams! There was a young boy 12 years old. The week after getting getting whipped.. I mean literally whipped. Dreamed.... he wanted to live in Australia! He wanted to live in stly in Australia! He was getting 50 paise pocket money per month. Very small eys and very big dreams indeed. Dear Raghy,

When I was in college I was well known for my stamina of being able to dance for hours during college annual dinner and dance ball.

When I got married around a month after marriage once I took my husband to a club where there was a dance floor and I was dancing to this song there.

My husband can't dance much..so I was teaching him how to dance!LOL

Once we had a farewell party in the hospital for the state director who was retiring.
So it was party all night for off duty doctors in the hospital grounds and even the patients were watching us dance all night long.

The next day everyone was talking about my dancing skills.

They were "wow doctor you really dance well"

One more of my favorite dance tunes.

I remember in college once there was a party so since none of us had boyfriends or girlfriends yet we went as a group of boys and girls.
The person who was supposed to be my dance partner was a real idiot!(most MBBS guys are idiots!)

He was this typical male types who expects a female to be waiting for him to finish talking to his friends and then dance with his partner.

I was thinking "what the heck!! he is not my boyfriend!! why the hell should I wait for this guy to talk with his buddies etc"

Then one good looking bollywood types guy from the engineering college asked me to dance with him.

So I ditched that MBBS guy and danced with the engineering guy!LOL

Ha Ha Ha..

The MBBS guy got so mad..the next day he told everyone.....

"Renu is a B****..she just ditched me!"

I was "who cares!!" LOL

Dear Raghy,

You know my first dance party in Manipal..I had no idea even of the name of the person I was dancing with!
All I knew he was some Chinese guy in my class.

But it scared that MBBS guy for life! cos recently there was reunion party of all doctors from Manipal here( I did not attend it) and one friend told me that MBBS guy was talking about that incident at the party!

Can you imagine?It happened in 1990 and he still feels bad!

Once in Manipal there was a party held by some cool group of guys in a hotel roof top.
These guys invited the Law College African students to be the DeeJay.

You see these guys thought that any African origin will make good Deejays.

But these guys were not African American but proper Africans from Africa.

So the songs were some what weird!

Than these bunch of Africans started jumping up and down like their traditional dance!LOL

So moral of the story..better make sure the Deejay is African American!!LOL

As a guy, I can understand. Possibly he will take it to his last breath. Winning a girl is is the most important for a guy. Personally, I lost to the first girl.. I couldn't beleve it! Turned out, she was not strong. i gave her 18 months.. then I hitched with Padma... After I hitched with Padma, that other girl was desperate.... I know, that memory can stay to the end of the days.


That brings our next song. I met Padma when she was 16. Yes, 16. She just copied me while growing up.. including JD. But she takes it only occassionally. Usually settles for nice wine... This is the song for her....

Dear Raghy,

You know when I visit Puttaparthi I am the same before I go there.,during my stay and also when I come back I am still the same.

But you know it is not the case with my younger brother!
Whenever he goes to Puttaparthi..before going itself he will start acting holy..during his stay there he will be really holy..never miss any single prayer right from Nagarsankritan to Aarti.

Then when he comes back home he will be acting even more holy...till I myself can't stand it.
He won't want to hear even any swear words and will close his ears when I swear.!!LOL

My elder brother and I always tell each other..wait and watch after 1 month younger brother will be back to normal.

And sure enough each time after 1 month he will be back to his normal self.

Dear Raghy,

I remember in 1995 when I had just finished my MBBS and was going to Malaysia mum and I went to Puttaparthi before going back to M'sia.

I remember it was summer that time and it was really hot there.

So I was dressed fully covered from head to toe.I never exposed even my hair.
I covered my head and hair with my dupatta.

Then after darshan time I noticed one guy following me.

The next day also I noticed him following me.

On the third day he brought his elder sister along and approached me and my mum.

He said he was a bussiness man from Delhi a Jaat Hindu and wanted to propose marriage to me!LOL

I was shocked!! The guy had not even seen my hair cos I was so covered.

My mum politely told him..that it is not possible cos we were Malaysian citizens and my mum was not keen to let her only daughter to stay far from home and also we are different communities etc.

The guy was sad and said it's Ok.
Next day I was leaving and I saw him at the bus stand..he came to the bus stand and said I came to say bye to you.

I asked him how did you know I was leaving.He said he saw me checking out of the ashram office so he guessed I was going back.

Can you imagine??

That was my first marriage proposal in my life..that too in Puttaparthi!!
