Why do I write?
..............
In the remaining 12 hours, I have to read, refer, take notes, prepare

the rough copy , type out the fair copy often stealing time from my

sleeping hours! ........................
Blessing in disguise?

This may be a forced rest given to you, to make up your lack of sleep!!

I sure missed the Forum and spent the longest four days in my life!

Four days felt life four yugam - a chatur yugam in fact!
'INTERNET' ஒரு மாய வலை', என நான் எழுதியது சரியே!

ஒரு பாடல் நினைவில் வருகிறது:
மாய வலையில் சிக்கி மயங்கினேன், தயங்கினேன்! :faint:

For me the Internet is the only connection with the outside world.

I have no one to talk to and no one to liten to me!

Since all the communications are through the Internet, with out it I felt as I

were put in solitary confinement for the longest four days in my life.

Why do I write?

Is it because Time hangs heavily on me and I want to KILL it here?

Is it because I want to get caught in controversies prevailing here?

Is it to project a 'holier than thou' image?

It is ONLY to leave behind me something useful, something

worthwhile, something of permanent value when

the time comes for me to take off once for all!

Twelve hours are lost in the numerous house-hold chores+ music

practice + the prolonged power cut (~ 3 and 1/2 hours per day)!

In the remaining 12 hours, I have to read, refer, take notes, prepare

the rough copy , type out the fair copy often stealing time from my

sleeping hours! The deficit sleep adds on till it results in a terrible

migraine and forces me to take rest! Why all these botheration?

It is just because I want to leave behind me something more than my

faded photographs!

I am in full agreement.

There is a saying

It's not what you take
But what you leave behind that defines greatness.

--Edward Gardner

"Lives of great men all remind us
We can make our lives sublime.
And, departing, leave behind us
Footprints on the sands of time."

_H. W. Longfellow

A story which I came across on the internet.

"It's not what you gather but what you scatter that matters in life"

Dear srimathi Visalakshmi Ji, Madam,

Life is as it should be. There is a reason for everything and everything has a reason.

While what should be is going on, the rest of us rejoice with what it is. Welcome back.

Regards,
KRS

Dear Mr. K.R.S and Mr. Nachinarkkiniyan,

Thank you for your posts. I had a hard day today for no fault of mine.

Your mails have given me solace and a lot of relief. I know I should

not be susceptible to 'bangs' and 'praises', but all said and done we

all are still human!

with namaskars to both of you and the other grand old gentlemen

who encourage me as my dear father used to do.

with warm regards :pray2:
Visalakshi Ramani.

Women and wine should never be dated.

Women are wiser than men because
though they know far less,
they understand far more.

There is too much beauty upon this earth
for a lonely man to bear.

Apparently NOT TOO MANY! :ohwell:

But in Reality many DO

The greatest mistake we can make in life is to be

continually fearing that we may make one! :fear:

Very true.......

'நீங்கள் ஏன் வந்தீர்கள்?' என்று நம்மைக் கேட்பதைவிட,

'நீங்கள் ஏன் வரவில்லை?' என்று விசாரிப்பதே சிறந்தது!! :peace:

Mediocrity

“Mediocrity knows nothing higher than itself. It requires talent to recognize genius”. says Sherlock Homes to Dr.Watson.

Very well put Sir! :clap2:

In fact it takes a genius to recognize another genius!
:yo:

That is why many geniuses remain unsung heroes since they are caught up in a suffocating circle in which they should never have been born.

Dear Mrs. Visalakshi Ramani,

As the proverb goes "If one door is closed, God makes many doors wide open for you!". This saying has a message to all, that transition is a part of life. No one should feel discouraged or lost in self effacing oblivion. The will of God is known to Him only. Nothing in this World from birth to death is with in our choice. Things "happen" as per the will of the creator. Our own scripture Holy Gita repeatedly points this message to us.

With Warm Regards,
Brahmanyan,
Bangalore.

Dear Sir,
You are right again! In fact nothing 'seems' to go according to our choice all during the life time. But HE has the right plans for us-better than what we can ever plan for ourselves- and when the right time comes things fall in place like the pieces of a jigsaw puzzle and everything starts happening all at once!
I too have witnessed it more than once in my own life time.
with warm regards,
Visalakshi Ramani. :pray2:

To be trusted is a greater compliment

than to be loved.

We may be deceived if we trust too much.

But we will live in torments of Hell :whoo:

if we don't trust enough!:spy:
