Not necessarily.
Love and trust are-so to say-somewhat different.
We often trust a person but may not really love him.
We may love someone but he may not be trustworthy.
If we find a person who is both lovable and trustworthy, we are lucky indeed!

I love with all my heart my tiny toddler grandson and granddaughter!

Do they qualify to be called 'trustworthy'

when they are just 1 and 2 years old respectively?
:noidea:

I prefer cheerful people to witty people.
Wit is nothing but cheerfulness
painstakingly intellectualized!

In this age if it is said of a man,
"He knows how to live" ,
it may mean that he is not very honest.

Tiny tots can only reciprocate LOVE;

They have to prove whether or not they are trustworthy, only when they become adults!

The same child which gets all the love in the world will be hated, if he/she grows as an adult who is NOT trustworthy!!

:fish:

Surely you must have heard these words!

பெத்த மனம் பித்து;
பிள்ளை மனம் கல்லு!

The closest to "selfless love" is the love of the parents for their children-

whether they are wise or vicious!

I have seen parents who forgive and forget the mistakes committed by

their offspring who turn out to be thoughtless, selfish to the core, ditch

their parents, deceive them, disturb them, humiliate them and even stab

them at their back while lying innocently on their laps!

True Love is all forgiving! That is why the world goes on!

I have seen parents who delay their daughter's wedding just because

she happens to be the only bread winner of their family!!

There are parents who are selfish too..... World is such!

May be true!

But we can never know the pangs of guilt and agony in the minds of those parents.

Saasthra says we can sacrifice the happiness of one member of the family for the

sake of the entire family!

May be that person was destined to be THAT one person in that family!

Our intelligence is too tiny to understand the grand designs of God. :hail:

Yes, very true. I have known families who postpone the wedding of their daughter (son as well) giving some reason or other and finally regret when the daughter or son selects their own partner in life.

To be witty is not enough.
One must possess sufficient wit -
:violin:

to avoid having too much of it.

Enough wit places one above his equals.

Too much of it lowers him

to the rank of an entertainer.

Points to ponder !

speech should be like a lady's dress
long enough to cover the points and
short enough to arouse curiosity.

This post should have followed the previous one immediately,

but got delayed by three hours!

Thanks to the power cut from 12 noon to 3 P.M!

Talking of the dresses worn by the females, a word of warning to ladies

who work in various factories.

"If you wear your clothes too loose, you will have trouble with the machines.

If you wear them too tight, you will have trouble with your male colleagues"

How do you like it?! :clap2:

A question to those who try to promote the concept of exposing human body,

and even Nudism...

If God wanted man to roam around naked, would He not have given man a shaggy

coat of hair and made him walk on all the four limbs??

In some countries the concept of community bath is popular-may be due to

lack of space or lack of enough water supply.

One child happened to see a group of people taking bath and shouted,

"Shame! Shame!"

Overcome by a sense of shame, all the people turned their backs towards
the child. The child shouted again, but this time it said,"Same! Same!"
:clap2:

Circumstances do not make or mar a man,

but they show what he is made up of! :thumb:

It takes much less time to do a thing right

than to explain why you did it wrong.:peace:

The world appears to be crazy!

The offender goes Scot-free! :bolt:

The sufferer is made to face reprimands,

reformations and restraints! :noidea:
