நேரடியாக எண்ணங்களை அடக்க முடியாதவருக்கு
மூச்சை அடக்குதல் தேவை.
காருக்கு வேகத் தடை போன்றது அது.

Liberality is a virtue. The wise and good man will

BUDDHISM
One should give to all who ask, for in giving to the needy one gives to God. The Christian should bear the burdens of others and should share his goods with those in need. The Lord loves a cheerful giver.
 
Benevolence is a characteristic of the wise.
The superior man gives generously to the needy.
He knows that this is the chief element in humanity.
CQNFUCIANISM​
Giving with cheerfulness is the way to security
and happiness. Giving is superior to receiving
since the giver acquires a friend and protects
himself from enemies. The wise man will always
share with others.
HINDUISM
 
The pious man will give alms. His gifts will
return to him. God loves the giver. As God has
been generous to man, so should he be generous to
his fellow beings.
ISLAM
Charity without fellow-feeling is like sowing a fallow land.
JAINISM
 
Those who have should give to those who have
not. The poor should always be helped. One who
gives to the poor gives to the Lord. If one does not
give when the poor ask, one will not be aided
when one is in need.
JUDAISM​
Be generous to ail creatures, both human and
animal. Long life is the reward for generous giving.
SHINTO​
Only what one gives to others will be preserved
 
Only what one gives to others will be preserved
for him in the future world. The generous will
find contentment.
SIKHISM​
One should help all those who are in need, and
should not think of his reward. The good will be
frugal in order to be liberal to those in need.
TAOISM​
The Wise One was generous. So should all His
followers be generous. For one who helps the poor
does in so far help to make the Lord King.
ZOROASTRIANISM​
To give and to be generous are attributes of Mine;
Well is with him that adorneth himself with My
virtues.
BAHA'I
 
#51. பிராணாயாமம்.
மிதக்கும் ஒரு பொருள் தானாகவே மூழ்காது.
அதனை அமிழ்த்த கனமான ஒரு பொருள் தேவை.
மனம் என்பது மிதக்கும் பொருள் போன்றது.
அதனை அமிழ்த்த பிராணாயாமம் பயன்படுகிறது.
அப்போது மனம் அமைதி பெறும்.
மன அமைதி கிட்டிய பின்னரும் தியானம் தேவை.
பின் மனம் இதயத்தில் மூழ்கிப் போகிறது.

# 52. "நான் யார்?"

ஆத்மாவை அடைய இவ்வகையில் தியானியுங்கள்.

ஒவ்வொரு எண்ணத்துக்கும் உரிய மூலத்தைத் தேடுங்கள்.

எண்ணத்தை ஒருபோதும் ஓட விடாதீர்கள்.

அவ்வாறு செய்தால் அதற்கு முடிவே இல்லை.

அதைத் தொடங்கிய இடத்துக்கே அழைத்துச் சென்றால்,

மனம் அங்கேயே செயலற்று இறந்து போகும்.

"நான் யார்?" என்ற கேள்விக்குத் திரும்புங்கள்.

one achieves immortal renown and abiding peace.
JAINISM

ferried across (the sea of existence).
The Guru shows the Path to the strayers.

This alone is thy eternal duty.
SIKHISM​
God is our protector and guide. In Him must we
trust and never waver. He is all powerful and will
never fail those who yield to His guiding.
ZOROASTRIANISM

எந்தப் பொருளைப் பற்றி தியானித்தாலும்
அது துணை செய்யாது.
மற்றொரு
பொருளை தியானிக்கும்போது
ஒருமைப் பாட்டை அழித்து
இருமையை உருவாக்குகிறோம்.
உண்மையில் நாம் எதுவோ
அதைப் பற்றித் தியானிக்க வேண்டும்.

BUDDHISM

who is able to subdue himself will find happiness
in this and in the next world.

Judaism is joyous. One who has the Lord on his
side should be happy, rejoicing all the time.
Happiness results from good works. If people keep
the law, they shall be happy.
JUDAISM​
Virtue goes hand in hand with happiness.
SHINTO
 
#54. அறிபவனும், அறியும் பொருளும்.

அறியப்படும் பொருள் அறிபவனைச் சார்ந்தே இருக்கிறது,

ஆகவே அறிபவனே உண்மை.

கவனம் அறிபவனை நோக்கித் திருப்பப்படல் வேண்டும்.

"நான்" என்பதன் வேர் அறிபவனே.

அதனை உணர்தல் வேண்டும்.

இதுவரை அறியும் பொருள் பற்றி படிக்கின்றோமோ தவிர

அறிபவனைப் பற்றி அன்று.

"நான்" என்பது எதனைக் குறிக்கின்றது

என்று இனிக் கண்டு பிடியுங்கள்.
