Racism in the west - why so many Indians, minorities, etc. tolerate/live with it ??

Status
Not open for further replies.
The issue is not about the achievement of Indians in theUSA. They are best performing ethnic group is not in question.

The issue is the unprecedented racism faced by the AfricanAmericans, Indians, minorities in the USA ! Is it worth all this achievement atthe cost of being treated a second class / third class citizen with constantracist abuse ??

Closed minds will only look at the carefully constructedpicture & live in that utopia.

Of course people can disagree with this, but unfortunately, after the ferguson riots, people are openly talking about racism in the USA& the internet boards are filled with massive racist comments all over !!

It is very difficult to accept when the dream world comescrashing that too publicly!!

So many Indians had hidden this ugly reality so far &portrayed a life of dreams to the gullible people back in India !!

LOL !

When you are a poor community, they are less educated, and are usually more physical. They resent the more successful people among them. There is more crime in poor community. So Asian owned stores in poor neighborhood are define targets.
This is not to say that there is no racism in USA. There is racism in USA, but more so against African-american than against Asian-Americans.

If you have to stay in other parts of India, as a tamilian we encounter resentment and discrimination. Look at Mumbai, and now Bangluru there is overt and covert discrimination.

To take isolated incidence and claim it to be the norm is misleading at least and downright lie at best.

From all accounts I have been reading in this site TB, face worse fate in Tamil Nadu.
There is discrimination against TB's from birth till death in Tamil Nadu. There is no dream world, we live in real USA everyday. I can only laugh at the half truths and misinformations written in this thread.
Innuendoes and "said so" do not make facts, proof should be better organized. LOL LOL LOL

Aren’t Indians the Most Racist of People on This Planet?

A Bollywood actress caught saying

so-and-so is amazing as a director. He can make even a black African look pretty".

A Bollywood actor saying:

(I knew) it was time to leave Shanghai and Hong Kong after six weeks of stunt training and go home when his eyes started "turning into little slits like the Chinese".

As the BBC critic of Indian origin remarks, these are not unsurprising remarks. As most Indians know, we make these remarks all the time and either don't realize these are offensive, or just don't care. Why, we have names for such obscenities. We call our north-eastern country-men(and women), or just any person with mongoloid features "chinky". We call any white-skinned person "firangi". Any person of African origin is still called a "negro", decades after this term has been replaced by "africans" or "african americans" in politer societies.

The fact is that we Indians have more ways to divide and discriminate humans than any society in the world, but few Indians would admit to this. We discriminate by race, skin color, caste, religion, regionality("madrasis") … if there are any other ways to divide people that I can't remember now, we probably do that too.

However, nobody in India has the guts to address this problem. We let people openly advertise for "fair", "brahmin" etc. brides and grooms in matrimonial listings in newspapers and online sites. There is still no government push for banning all temples from restricting who can enter by caste. There is no push to accommodate our north-eastern brothers and sisters into mainstream society. In fact, most of India would rather revel in "Gandhigiri" but blissfully ignore that Iron Sharmila , who has redefined Gandhian methods of struggle, even exists.

Aren?t Indians the most racist of people on this planet? - sandipb.net

However, in a recent column of the Hindustan Times Cafe newspaper, Anoushka Shankar (daughter of acclaimed musician Ravi) raised the issue of racist behaviour by Indians themselves. She stated that she considered Indians to be, on the whole, a fairly racist group of people.

Some of her reasons, which were mostly centred around skin colour, were as follows:

In the event of an Indian falling in love with a foreigner, the Indian parents would prefer the foreigner to be white rather than black.
Where else in the world do matrimonial ads place so much importance on skin colour?
Foreigners have to pay a higher ticket price to enter monuments and other places of interest in India.
The Indian media constantly propagates the concept of white women being easy or loose. Female tourists, especially blondes, are constantly bothered by Indian men who assume that they can take advantage of them because they’re white.
So many people in northern India constantly make fun of people in the south, and have little understanding of their culture, language and customs.
The use of fairness creams is rampant amongst Indians, desperate to make their skin colour lighter because it’s perceived as being more attractive.
According to Anoushka, it’s well and good that Indians stand up for their own rights of equality. However, they also need to open their eyes to the fact that they don’t always offer the same equality to everyone else.

What do you think? I feel she raises some very good points.

This is a thorny topic that Asian American activists don’t want to talk about: racism by African Americans in inner cities across America against Asian Americans. Because I grew up in a suburb of California, I personally am not familiar with this but I have to say that since I have been blogging about how Asian Americans are discriminated against by elite private colleges and universities, the most extreme responses from my alumni group (Harvard Alumni in LinkedIn) have come from the African Americans who find the success of Asian Americans to be very threatening in the college admissions arena.
Racism among Minority Groups: Blacks and Asians | JadeLuckClub

As for racism, in my experience, Indians from the south are just as racist towards other Indians as their northern counterparts.

My husband and I lived in Varkala (a small beach tourist town in Kerala) for 8 months. He soon discovered that it was like living in a whole different country, rather than a state. The locals didn’t look favorably on any Indians who didn’t speak Malayalam (the local language). In fact, my husband was once asked by a shopkeeper if he spoke Malayalam. When he said no, only Hindi, the shopkeeper refused to serve him. This may sound unbelievable, but it was true!

Are Indians really like that only?

This OP is not about whether Indians are racist or casteist or not! It is about the widespread discrimination of the Indians in USA by the whites!

Unless one has divine powers to know about every Indian settled in USA, it is disingenuous & downright lie to argue, it is an isolated incident and only Africans face racism.

Hundreds & thousands of OPed have been written in all newspapers in the USA about the widespread racist discrimination against the minority Indians, Asians, Hispanics, etc.. – not just Africans !

Generally people will start finger pointing – oh look at your house, it is not great !, when they cannot defend their position !!

Many individual accounts by Indians passed on by word of mouth, comments, stories are littered all over the internet forums. What happened to the Sikhs who were gunned down?. what happened to the Andhra student killed in a racist attack ?

All this doesn’t matter for some… Astonishing isn’t it !!. Apparently according to them whites only search for Africans & discriminate them & not the Asians, because they simply love the Asians & they approve of them, LOL!!. All Indians are living in hunky dory in the USA.. LOL & their image is intact!!. Phew, how close people had come to blow their carefully constructed paper cover.. LOL !! Now, the Indian Americans can go back to their dreamland USA, ride into the sunset & live happily ever after !!

What racism la… no racism exists in USA la… all the internet board comments in CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, Huff post etc are lies la…

This has got nothing to do with Racism but only demonstrate their language pride . Try talking in English in France and see what response you get . Forget France , when I visited Quebec in Canada ( which has a French Majority ) ,I got a cold response when I talked in English but when the person who accompanied me ( he was not a Canadian but a Brazalian who spoke French well ) spoke in French we got a very good response . My Brazalian friend told me that next time I come I must learn to talk in French . He told me that the local people know that I do not know French but will appreciate me if I make an attempt to speak in French even if is not fully correct .
Few Years back I visited Sahatadri Hills near Pune , Maharashtra and the driver who used to drive me out was quite comfortable with me in Hindi and he used to talk to others in Marathi on my behalf but on leaving he gave me the same advice i.e next time when you come here try to at least learn some Marathi if I need to win the affection of the locals . He told we do understand and speak in Hindi but will be very happy if you at least make an attempt to learn Marathi .
The same thing happened when I visited Bangalore ( my Driver was comfortable in Tamil but told me to learn some basic Kannada when I come next time ) and when I visited Amritsar in Punjab many of my questions in Hindi were replied in Punjabi only .
So in essence when in Rome be a Roman .

I wanted to share with you my experiences on racism. Let me introduce myself. I am Ms X , born and grew up in central cindia. I moved to the States when i was 20. I am 26 today. I was born dark skinned. This could be the story of any indian girl.
From the day i was born, my mom tried different oils, lotions to change my skin color. Everyone ridiculed my mom for giving birth to a dark girl. Everyone told her it would be difficult to find a groom for her as she is very dark. This would trouble my mom and she tried everything to change my skin color.
I was born intelligent. I topped most of the competitions at school. I was a good orator. When i was in my 4th grade, my teacher told me she could not give me the role of cinderalla for our school day function as i was dark and they wanted a fair skinned girl. They chose a fair cinderalla over me who could not even deliver her lines. I went home heartbroken. The next year i was chosen for a dance performance for a school show. One of the teachers asked me to not stand in the front row as i was dark and they wanted pretty girls in the front. I was asked to move back. Imagine what a 5th grader would have gone through. Anyways as i turned into a teenager, my confidence was at rock bottom. I was dark you see. That is like almost the end of the world you see. I tried all sorts of things only to realize nothing in this world can change your skin color. I kind of got used to people calling me dark.
At 20 i got admission at a very prestigious university in US for higher studies. I landed here. Out in US, not one single day was i told i was dark. Everyone around me were so appreciative of my other skills apart from my skin color. I met a very handsome guy whom i started dating. My confidence slowly built up thanks to this guy . I am soon going to marry him. In US I was never told a single day by anyone that i was dark. Infact a white girls came to me and once complimented me for my healthy skin. I am not making this up BTW.
The reason i wrote this was because i saw so many comments here saying Americans are racist. Hell no. We Indians are the most racist people in the world, we dont realize it. In US there are laws against racism. In India there is not one single law that will protect a dark skinned girl from being ridiculed. It is just accepted as being OK to say you are dark.
So people before you comment saying she is dark and ugly- think of what you will be doing to the 100s of girls in india who are dark skinned. You will be shattering their egos, bruising their self confidence and they will be scarred for life.
Today I work as a developer at google . I consider myself beautiful and am very confident. It took me years to realize that self-confidence comes from within.

Are Indians the most racist people in the world?

I have mentioned on this blog in the past that I find Indians to be among the most racist people in the world.

They look at the world first through the prism of skin colour. Then caste, then parentage (who was your father), then your geographical coordinates (the state you "come from", the town or village, and so on ….

Merit comes a distant tenth (or even fiftieth).

Such a deeply parochial and bigoted view of the world was perhaps appropriate for a static agricultural economy which needed to reproduce all necessary goods over hundreds of generations without a hiccup. Intensive stereotyping was perhaps useful, then.

But today it has become an extremely incorrect way of looking at the world. We can be very easily deceived if we assess the worth of people based on their skin colour.

I was reminded of this issue today because someone mentioned to me earlier in the day that he finds his Indian friends to be the most racist of all. They are "proud", for instance, of the fact that they are not Africans or Aborigines.

I'm willing to believe this, for I have heard many stories about how badly African students are treated in Delhi. These people are also derogatively called "Kallus" – a term I first heard from one of my fellow Indian PhD students in USA.

It is necessary that we ask ourselves the harsh question: ARE WE COLOUR-CONSCIOUS? If so, we need to work hard to eliminate this false consciousness.

In 1900's Indian were only coders. That has changed over period of time. Some of the people in India only know Indian coolies.

According to the 2010 U.S. Census, Indian Americans had the highest household income of all ethnic groups in the United States.
According to the American Association of Physicians of Indian Origin, there are close to 35,000 Indian American doctors.

Among Indian Americans, 72.3% participate in the U.S. work force, of which 57.7% are employed in managerial and professional specialties. As of 2010 66.3% of Indian Americans are employed in select professional and managerial specialties compared with the national average of 35.9%.
In 2002, there were over 223,000 Asian Indian-owned firms in the U.S., employing more than 610,000 workers, and generating more than $88 billion in revenue.
Asian Indians are the richest ethnic minority group in the US. Almost 67% of all adult Asian Indians in the US have a graduate and higher degree. It is estimated that about one third of the engineers in California's Silicon Valley are of Asian Indian origin. They are engineers and medical doctors, professors and entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and CEO's. Indian Americans (or Asian Indians, as they are often called) are an incredible success story in the U.S., and their impact on the social, economic, and cultural life of greater Boston has been significant.

Such a thread could have allowed for a more scholarly discussion if it was approached differently.

Instead at this forum it is for few to do some cribbing which may serve to provide some therapy.

What is more interesting is to note who is cribbing and who is not rather than what they write (I did not read most but saw you step in and wanted to see what you had to say)!

With your post I see that you have tried to raise the level of discussion but that is not possible with some here.

A better approach would be to feed to the cribbers and help with their therapeutic need. Say a sad story so they feel that those Indians in other countries must be suffering for a few buck selling their souls! Then they can feel better about themselves.

The last thing you want to do is to get into the generalization game about Indians. In my experience in every visit to India I am always touched by people in rural areas be that in UP (near Rishikesh area) or in Southern or Western states.

In contrast there are a few (only a few) that carry the following traits in my experience. I will leave you to guess who if any may have one or many traits I am listing here ..

1. Frustrated with life because they are/were paper pushers for a career and never challenged themselves to anything higher in life
2. Their livelihood was dealing with and creating bureaucracy and leveraging that for corrupt gains
3. Promote corruption - they may say 'Hey Rama' in a temple but when they are making a deal (like selling their house) will say 'Hey Krishna' meaning black money as part of the deal
4. Go after every gadgets the west has invented with zeal and compare with each others as to who has what (and feel proud of their possession)
5. Pick up news here and there and feel good that others must be suffering (from reading news designed to invoke sensationalism)
6. Generally lacks backbone when it comes to taking risk
7. Spit in the street while crying 'Madi'
8. Pass gas in front of others loudly at home and even outside and feel entitled to do so
9. Not realize that they are frogs in a narrow well in terms of knowledge
10. Not truly interested in learning the truth of anything

I can go on but there is a choice American word that aptly describe such characters. I cannot say it here except refer to what President George W Bush said about a journalist while campaigning to his running mate Cheney (who said 'Big time' and agreed). Bush did not know what he said was heard by all.

The best suggestion I can tell you is to not try to raise awareness with facts and with logic but rather feed them some sad story :-)

You are right.

As an Asian-American, I'm used to the everyday, smaller instances that are more an annoyance than an obstacle, from the strangers thinking that it is acceptable to say "Konichiwa" to me in the library to the businessman on the train asking me where I'm from. "Around here," I answered quizzically. "I know, you don't have an accent, but really," he stressed. "Like in Asia."

Upsetting incidents of racism have been present my entire life. I vividly recall an instance in New York City three or four years ago; my family and I were being regular tourists, walking on the broad streets host to the international community that New York City boasts. My father pushed the stroller with my little sister, who was still a toddler, chattering at all the new and exciting sights. All of a sudden, an old man passing in the opposite direction shot us a hateful look. "Go back to China where you come from!" he yelled.
But just as I wanted to give up, I remembered the ending to the story of the xenophobic man in New York City, who had yelled for us to leave the country. That bright sunny day in New York City, as my family looked at each other in hurt and bewilderment, a young Caucasian woman in her 30s, holding the hand of a small child, tapped my mother on the shoulder. "I'm so sorry about that man," she said sympathetically, "America isn't like that."

She was right, I came to realize. Sometimes, it's hard to remember. But the real America isn't like that.

I am an American. A Chinese-American, an Asian-American, an immigrant-American (as most of us are). Yes, racism exists in America, and it will be something I deal with for the rest of my life, but I know something that old man in New York City didn't: the real America's power lies in its diversity; in its strength and acceptance.
Racism & Diversity in America | Eva Shang

It is unfortunate that some of the members here only met the "angry man", but did not recognize the tap on the shoulder of the Caucasian woman.

I have a different view. They did not meet any angry man or woman.

There is a small groups of people in India (and some are actually TB I know) that have middle class prides and prejudices.

They are preached 'superiority by birth' but never earned it. They never had the guts or knows what it means to take risks or what it means to deliver excellence.

As they age they are stuck by material progress of the west and even come to know of others Indians of lower status succeeding in enormous proportion.

They cannot relate to stories how America by and large values excellence no matter where it comes from. Nowhere in the world could a first generation immigrant become the CEO of one of the largest enterprise (Microsoft) in less than 2 decades after coming to USA. The Google Chrome these jokers use is the brain child of a very powerful executive who is Indian (South Indian) by birth.

Even the relatively less educated Sardarjis and Gujarathi's that came to America have set new standards with opening of country wide 24X7 gas stations and convenience stores. Their dominance in motel business is legendary. Recently I met a Gujarathi family that came here with very little money and now they own many restaurant chains.

Two of my close friends who came with just $7 like me are billionaires today running major enterprises.

People willing to take risks and those with innovative ideas thrive in many countries of the West and certainly in USA.

Due to power transfer earned by Asian Americans especially in the STEM areas in both academia and technology industries, the work culture in USA has changed drastically influenced by Asians and Indians.

I have personally led large organizations and never once I consciously saw someone in terms of their race or creed or even gender. When I am on the hook to deliver something big I obviously wanted the best and brightest. My bosses were the same because color for business results is 'green' and not black, white , yellow or brown. If anyone harbored racial bias towards me I was not seeing its impact in the many decades I have been here in USA.

Selective news is consumed by some (and thank god there are very few of this types here) and they use that news to feel good for the lack of any substantive accomplishments in their own life.

Most of all there is one trait I have seen in *some* TB types primarily in city area in India and that is hypocrisy

I can only illustrate this with an actual episode.

When I was doing my PhD I came in touch with some Indian fellows (TB) who had come on some government business back in late 70s.
They were from TB family and quizzed me if I or drink or smoke. I told I don't and they would not believe me. I told them I have no fascination for that.

They gave me an unsolicited lecture on how the place is morally corrupt. I told him that I had no intentions of staying here beyond my degree (and at that time my parents were alive but things changed in my life after my mother died when I was relatively young).

Then they gave me a gratuitous advice to do daily Sandhyavandhanam etc.

Next day each of them came to look for me individually.

One asked if in my next trip I can bring a bottle of Johny Walker or some drink (everyone was allowed one bottle those days) which he wanted to give to his boss to gain his favors.

Another came and said that his son wants to apply to some universities in USA and if I could recommend a few (and by the way could I pay the application fee for some schools )

One more came and asked for dollars (to be paid in Rupees to my parents) so he can get advanced booking for his two wheel scooter and improve his priority for getting it.

I politely declined ...and told them to go and do something themselves.

Now that is hypocrisy in action :-)

what do all the above posts by indian americans or is it american indians prove

well firstly they can articulate well , write good english and present their side of the story very well . full marks to them for that

they have a kind of personal philosophy that they are able to justify to themselves that they are on the right path in life and they have made the right compromises to live

in a multi racial society

it is fine if they are happy with what they have done with themselves

only sour note is when they look upto india for spending their last years in our old age homes utilising our scarce resources without contributing anything to india except

empty rhetoric.

India can afford to write off 0.2 crores indians in america.we are more than 120 crores .

only wish is they get absorbed in american society without preaching anything to indians in india who will find their own solutions to the multitude of problems facing them

without indian americans help and condescending advice.

Well, the rest of the world will only hear the stories (mostly sad) when a big event happens & it is reported in the local media. Many of us incl. myself have heard of racist stories from many Indians settled abroad. After Ferguson riots & the loud noise made by the minorities in the USA, it is no longer an isolated incident. When CNN has a front page news saying – “racism is widespread in USA”, most people incl. myself will believe it & seeing the terrible comments on the msg board, one can only draw that it is really bad !!

There is no racism in india. West has a ridiculous definition for racism. Calling one black or wog or paki is racism. We are not sensitive and accept all forms of address or reference - mallu, bong, gulti or thayir sadam. Our culture and language is colourful and accommodative to to ensure that there is no permanent rift or damage. As long as the person or the group has inner strength and wisdom to brush it aside if the intentions are not harmful or the ability to give back in equal measure if the intent is malicious, fine. No point in wasting time and energy in dissection and analysis.

Physical harm is real and lasting. Verbal harm is transient and is of no consequence if the receiver ignores it or gives it back. Both choices are effective depending on the abuser and the environment. As brahmin bashers are virtually inactive in tamilnadu and elsewhere. Now hindu lovers have started verbal retorts, SLH hindu bashers are in shock and will need time to adapt.

Courtesy is individual and environment dependent. RK Narayan had this courtesy experience in USA. While checking out in a supermarket (or just a corner store) he wanted to be courteous and wished the till girl - 'good morning, are you having a nice day'. The girl exploded - 'it is my job to be nice and say those words. Shut up and pay the bill' The girl was so abusive that R K Narayana was confused, hurt and dumbfounded. Perhaps his colour, stature, accent or bearing offended the girl.

Yes, we are proud TBs but with no malice or castiest intention to anyone. And we as in all Indians will not bow to any foreigner now or ever!!!

Why the hell should we put up with racists comments, fights, physical attacks, stares, etc… today, we are not in a desperate situation like the pre-liberalization era. So there is absolutely no need to put up with crap..

It is important to educate the larger Indian community not to fall for this American/western education & the so called dream life !!

Kids do not have any knowledge of the terrible ghost called racism in the USA/Europe/West when they leave @ 18 yrs, or in their 20sfor higher education!! So it is important to talk about it so that they are fully aware of what they are getting into. It is important for their parents to know what kind of treatment awaits these kids in the USA.

This awareness also will cut off the white skin obsession many have due to colonial hangover !! I mean when our hero Nehru found it a great prestige to tell people that he is having an affair with Lady Mountbatten a white lady that too when his wife was fully well & alive, what can we say for innocent poor Indians !! LOL !!

Sarang - Absolutely agree with you !. I only wish RK Narayan had given back the basket to that junk white girl & asked her to shove it up her crap.. !! See only when we talk about it, we can devise strategies to deal with it. Otherwise our people are getting massacred by these whites who have superior "nasty name calling/insulting" skills !!

Some Indians settled in the USA may have faced minimal to nil racism due to the progressive communities in their locality - so their views are perfectly understandable . However we are debating the larger Indian community facing racism in west. In-fact if I remember, even Narayana Murthy faced racism & he quoted it as one of the reasons for starting Infosys, not sure if it was in the US or in Europe.

Sangomji,

I have quite a few Tabra friends in the Indian IT behemoths...When you are a Team leader or Service delivery leader, you may have whites as employees..You can order those guys and literally lord over them...They will eat out of you..Indians have a merry time in such situations..

Yes, we have not grown beyond coding..We do not have a home grown product that can compete against a Microsoft or Google or IBM or Samsung

But soon we should be able to build the product eco system which Nasscom is working hard to develop

There are may start ups where Tabras are the leaders and are thriving..There are 100's of new opportunities that are coming up..In the knowledge based outsourcing industry why Tabras alone, Indians are capable of giving a tough fight based on our capabilities

Shri Ganeji,

What I have been told by more than one of our youngsters (mostly tabras) working in USA, UK, etc., for decades is that when they went there first for work (may be "coding" only, I don't know) they used to have bosses who had all along worked in their own native systems and the boss-employee relationship at least within the office and in work-related areas used to be one of cordial, friendly behaviour from both sides — something like equality but not quite, because the boss was always the boss. But after some decades and with more and more Indians (both Northies and Southies) getting to higher echelons like group leaders, managers and higher positions, the behaviour of these Indian bosses has been consistently feudal and they always view and teat their subordinates as no more than orderlies or factotums. This "contamination" has now slowly spread higher and higher in many workplaces and the western as also the few black-, hispanic- and other kinds of bosses increasingly behave in the typical Indian-style bossy ways. This has changed the workplace atmosphere greatly and even the lowest level people of white origin do not have the very same attitude towards their work or the employer as they used to have, say, twenty years or so ago.

One youngster concluded that even though we Indians have not been able to do anything significant like a Windows OP/an Adobe/A facebook etc., we will surely be able to ensure that the western enterprises also come down to our "Chalta Hai" level quite soon!

In fact this has been our major handicap almost all through history. I am told that we have in India more than 50 Defence Research Laboratories working for more than 50 years but they have not succeeded in inventing or designing even one new or path-breaking item of defence stores!! Shri Modi is reported to have shown his disgust on this but an informed person told me that "even if Shri Modi's grandfather were to come down from the pitrulokam, it would be impossible to change our DRDOs' culture; a better way will be to close down all these and use the moneys to buy most modern armaments and equipments from abroad."

Israel however has been able to perform miraculously better in developing its defences and so has China.

Therefore, the fault lies with us, although, telling the truth may now be branded as "Self-loathing" by some people who have grandiose visions or dreams about India. Unless we Indians understand our shortcomings and correct ourselves, this country will never be able to emerge as a Super Power. And, corruption at all levels starting from the highest government and political levels is the first thing that needs to be completely exterminated. My own view is that the Hindu religion corrupts the minds of people because we have crores of "Gods" who, we have decided, will see the other way if only we spend some money, in one way or another, and placate these gods!!

Oh ! How wrong can it get... terms like "mallu, bong, gulti or thayir sadam" are not born out of love and affection. They are meant to demean, to be looked down... such references are a balm to soothe arrogant egos.

Abusive and hurtful words to address a person/community are so ingrained in the su-continental mindset that no one sees them as an issue. It is, like hinduism, as some would say, a way of life now !

Regarding physical and verbal harm, I think there is a kural that says that "naavinaal sutta vadu aaradhu". Words can hurt more than wounds.

LOL !!

dear Jk,

Some long back I remember you telling me that TBs dont really need India that much..I clearly remember you saying that these days TBs have one leg in the west and one leg in India..and I asked you "so which country is the middle section of the body?"LOL

So JK ji..if one wants to have legs here and there..they cant expect it to be smooth sailing.

Or are you seeking glorification where ever you go?

BTW an affair with a white does not mean white skin obsession..affairs just happen.

Skin color has nothing to do with attraction.
