Christianity is silently doing conversions of Hindus in remote villages that do not immediately draw the attention of the public and the media. This is going on for the past several years in most of the villages in Tamil Nadu. Since our attention is diverted to Islam, Christian missions are happily converting Hindus in this Dravidian land unsuspected where situation is more favourable for such conversions. Open diatribes are made in their public meetings as well, against Hindus and Hinduism. And many of them do it by joining some of the Dravidian parties with their blessings.

There is nothing wrong in declaring India as a Hindu Rashtra, but giving full freedom for other religionists to pursue their religion as is done in most of the Western countries.
 
A temple with a difference
According to a media report, Jaya Durga Peetham in Padappai is giving payasam a miss for brownies, burgers and salads. The menu and food is certified by FSSAI has an expiry date printed on them. The temple has gone a step further by actually installing vending machines within the premises that dispense food. Worshippers have to simply insert a token and they can get their brownies and burgers. The temple also gives cracker sandwiches and tomato cherry salads.
If you thought that was quite different, the temple also offers “birthday cake prasadam” for devotees on their birthday. The officials say it works really well for the older people it adds a special touch when it comes from the temple.
So hereafter, one can EXPECT MORE YOUNGSTERS VISITING THIS TEMPLE
 
The forgotten Nuclear Scientist
Homi Baba
Born on October 30, 1909 in Bombay, Homi Jehangir Bhabha played an important role in the Quantum Theory.
He was the first person to become the Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission of India. Having started his scientific career in nuclear physics from Great Britain, Bhabha returned to India and played a key role in convincing the Congress Party’s senior leaders, most notably Jawaharlal Nehru, to start the ambitious nuclear programme.
Bhabha is generally acknowledged as the father of Indian nuclear power. But few people know that he was absolutely against India manufacturing atomic bombs, even if the country had enough resources to do so. Instead he suggested that the production of an atomic reactor should be used to lessen India’s misery and poverty.
He died when Air India Flight 101 crashed near Mont Blanc on 24 January 1966. Many possible theories of the crash came up including a conspiracy theory in which the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is involved in order to paralyze India’s nuclear program.

When people spend a whole day and night in the mile long queues to have a flash Darshan of the Lord for not more than 10 to 15 seconds with the Temple Dawalis ever pushing you physically saying "Jaragandi", some people entering the sanctum sanctorum with VIP recommendations causing great inconvenience to the devotees, it is only proper that these intrusions are not permitted. Worse than this is the visit of the VIP himself to the temple during peak seasons at peak hours causing immense in convenience to the millions of devotees who are made to wait from the time the VIP enters the temple until he leaves it. So VIPs should AS FAR AS POSSIBLE avoid such days and timings.
 
The SC should have been a little considerate in this case where the couple were clearly informed by the medical experts that the child to be born will be defective. It could have been aborted, but for no fault of the couple, the process was delayed beyond 24 weeks and the SC came out with the order that the the child could not be aborted. Now the couple have to bear the brunt of the judgement for the rest of their life having to bring up the disabled child, causing untold suffering to the child as well as to the couple

Student sponsored Jallikattu agitation was spontaneous without the interference of politicians and other outsiders till the penultimate day of the agitation. All of us know ultimately what happened. Anti social and anti national elements intruded and mixed with them to create chaos and confusion turning the direction of the agitation. Now these anti social elements want to involve students in all the agitations which they are planning to destabilise the Stae and Central government. And unfortunately students are falling a blind victim to the evil intentions of these elements and are exploited. Students Jallikattu agitation is someting which they must have avoided. I don't want them to get involved in all sorts of agitations, be it for hydrocarbon or farmers. The students in their abysmal ignorance about the intention of these anti social elements get entangled with these evil forces and get brainwashed sacrificing their career and disappointing their parents who had high hopes in them. I would advise the students to concentrate on their studies without getting diverted and misdirected during their studies. Once they settle down in life they can choose the politics of their choice, but should remain loyal to the country and should shun secessionist forces. So don't give scope for such things.
STUDENTS ARE USED BY DIVISIVE FORCES THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY UNDER SOME PRETEXT OR OTHER AND ARE BEING EXPLOITED AT THE COST OF THEIR FUTURE.

The reason attributed to the the increase in their population is said to be due to the promiscuous dumping of wastes by the house holders and public which remain uncleared for days together. So the animal rights activists blame the municipality, the municipality blames the people , and the people blame both thus establishing a vicious circle, meanwhile the problem remaining the same without solution. If animal lovers are against culling, then they must do something to pound them and feed them without allowing them in the streets.
ANYDAY LIFE OF A HUMAN BEING IS MORE VALUABLE THAN THAT OF A DOG.

Acts of kindness are very rare today in this fast-paced busy world but there are some who stop and help in whatever way they can. A certain server at a restaurant turned out to be one of a kind when he helped a disabled woman with her food at a restaurant recently.
According to a report in the Metro, a diner, Keshia Dotson was busy eating at a local restaurant when she saw the kindest thing in a long time. She saw a server at the restaurant sitting and patiently feeding a disabled woman while her husband sat near and continued eating his meal. Keshia went up to the old man and lady whose names are Dale and Ma and had a small chat with them. Dale told her that the server, Joe, 43 has been helping Ma eating for a while now so that her husband can enjoy his food.
Ma suffers from Huntington’s disease, a genetic disorder that affects nerve cells in the brain. The couple however comes every Saturday to the restaurant and are served their food and Joe takes on his role so that Dale doesn’t get too troubled with feeding his wife.
Kudos to the server.How many of us have witness such kindness outside our homes?

Now these anti social elements want to involve students in all the agitations of the future which they are planning, to destabilise the State and Central government. And unfortunately students are falling a blind victim to the evil intentions of these elements and are exploited. Students Jallikattu agitation is someting which they must have avoided, when both the state and the centre were not against it.



The Indian communists by the very nature of the system are anti national with their loyalty swinging between China and Russia. If the students apply their mind for a second, they will realise the fallacy of the communists joining students fighting for freedom of expression. Communists might forget Tinamon square massacre but not history. Had any communist country ever given the freedom of expression for its people? But here they instigate students to fight for that cause and support antinational forces! Not only for the freedom of expression, but for dissent and freedom for every bloody and blessed thing including anti nationalism. Is this not a fallacy, a plain cheating by the crooked party which has now become a historic anachronism?

If it is leftists in the North and in Kerala, it is the Dravidian parties in Tamil Nadu, barring one or two, doing that job. If it is leftists in other states who fight against all out progress in the name of an outmoded theory, it is done in the name of traditional culture which is misused as tool to fight against any progress. The hidden motto of some of the parties in Tamil Nadu is anti national and secession. The embers of anti nationalism is simmering at the bottom of some of these parties, waiting for an opportunity to make it grow into a major conflagration.

In their own interest, the students will do well not to get involved in all sorts of agitations, be it for hydrocarbon or farmers, based on the distorted versions of the politicians and certain other vested interests. The students in their abysmal ignorance about the intention of these anti social elements get entangled with these evil forces and get brainwashed sacrificing their career and disappointing their parents who had high hopes in them. I would request the students to concentrate on their studies without getting diverted and misdirected by these forces during their studies. Their first duty is to their parents and should fulfil their wishes instead of disappointing them. Once they settle down in life they can choose the politics of their choice, but should ever remain loyal to the country and should shun secessionist forces. So don't give scope for such things. Please don't become a slave to your emotions. Playing on the emotion of the people is the past time of our politicians.

S. Chandrashekar
Born on October 19, 1910 in Lahore, British India, he was awarded the 1983 Nobel Prize for Physics for his mathematical theory of black holes. The Chandrasekhar limit is named after him. He was nephew of CV Raman. Chandra became a United States citizen in 1953.
His most celebrated work concerns the radiation of energy from stars, particularly white dwarf stars, which are the dying fragments of stars. He died on August 21, 1995, at the age of 82 in Chicago.
