Human beings are the most precious objects in the Creation of the Lord. They are way more valuable than all the wealth in the world. In fact it is man who imparts value to all objects. But we fail to recognise this because people are attracted to all the visible objects of the world experienced by the senses, and are unaware of the Spirit within them. For accomplishing anything in this world, three things are essential – First, mastery over the senses; second, control over the mind; and third, maintaining perfect bodily health. When all the three requisites are present, you can most certainly achieve your aim. Put appropriate effort and attain a lot of goodness with the power you already possess! Do not lose your power by indulging in sensual pleasures without self-control. You can accomplish anything with these three things.

Construction of a temple needs lot of dedication; similarly
to attain the bliss of the Supreme Power also needs dedication.
Sanctification of a Temple and Consecration of the Supreme
Power within it are yet again a great assignment in life.
One's mind, heart and action have to be completely dedicated
towards the Supreme Power. Our desires have to be compeltely
based on the devotion towards the Supreme Power. Our movements
have to be completely absolute without any reservation in our
actions.

Some pursue good activities, in spite of that they fail to achieve
the desired results because of non-belief in HIM or for want of
dedicated prayer or worship. The Supreme Power always encourages
a devotee to live up to his/her potential besides learning valuable lessons
from the Guru so as to facilitate in keep growing towards the unconditional
Bhakthi movement. One must make sincere effort to relinquish all unwanted
desires or ego to control the mind and place the trust fully in HIM.
Whenever one has an opportunity to choose between spending time and energy
towards developing a desire towards Aanmiga relationship with the
Supreme Power, one has to do good work to serve Him in the form of HIS
disciples or a Satsang. Devotion is more important from the angle of Bhakthi.
One can pursue voluntary work in a Satsang to get associated with devotional
acts and in doing so in a regular way without any ambiguity, the time and
energy spent towards such acts only makes the way to keep growing closer to
the Supreme Power every day.

One Sankaranti day, Rukmini, Sathyabhama, Jambavati, Gopikas, and Draupadi among others were with Lord Krishna, joyously munching sugarcane. Krishna, in order to test them, pretended as if His finger was cut. God always tests His devotees. Test is nothing but a taste of God. If the devotee is successful in the test, he/she receives God’s bounteous Grace. God does not conduct tests as a sign of hatred or enmity; He always does it out of intense love and compassion. As soon as Krishna’s finger was cut, it started bleeding. Sathyabhama asked a servant to quickly get a piece of cloth. Rukmini ran herself. Draupadi saw this and immediately tore a piece of her own sari and tied it to Lord Krishna’s thumb to stop the bleeding. Witnessing this, Rukmini and Sathyabama were ashamed that their love and actions did not match Draupadi’s love. Later Lor d Krishna showered infinite grace when Draupadi needed it the most.

Everyone has to chant Gayatri mantra daily without fail. Also try to do yogas
after learning from a Guru and meditation daily, which is eternal worship of God.
Everyone has to listen to elders setting aside the ego. One has to talk to others
in a pleasant voice without hurting others. Vedas, if perused has no specific
mention about tantra, Vastu shastra, etc., according to one of the experts.
It is generally said that only our own karmas predicts the results to us. Everyone
has to remember that God is everywhere and He is looking everybody. So it
is our duty to do pious deeds always without hurting others.

The difference between Rama and Ravana can be understood in three key aspects. Rama embodied the following characteristics: He rejoiced in the wellbeing of the whole Universe (Sarva Loka Hithe Ratah). He was the embodiment of wisdom (Sarva Jnana Sampannah). He was filled with all the virtues (Sarve Samuditha Gunaihi). You must learn and practice this important lesson for the welfare of this world. Lord Rama promoted the well-being of all by adhering to Truth and setting an example of righteous conduct. From His life, we must also understand the supreme importance of upholding Truth in our daily life. All of you tend to speak a great deal. We must keep up the promises we make and live up to what we say or preach. Introspect within yourselves as to how truthful is ur speech. Without truth, speech has no value.

You must not be restrictive in acquiring skills that help you earn a livelihood. In fact, you must learn about life itself, how it should be lived and the basic goal of life. Learning how to earn an income is not a great thing; all the evils that we see in the world today stem from a perverted system of education. An educated person must control one’s senses. You may go through sacred texts, offer all sorts of prayers to all Gods and perhaps be in a thick forest or in the safest place, but you cannot run away from your destiny. Just like you may immerse a container in a small lake or a large ocean, but you cannot collect more water than what the container can hold. Without the strength of righteousness, physical and intellectual strength are of no avail. Examine for yourself – what happened to the mighty Karna (in the epic Mahabharata)? Though he had the intellect and physical valour, he joined the bad company of Duryodhana, Dushasana and Shakuni, and therefore came to be known as the fourth wicked person. So never be in bad company who will lead you to entertain bad thoughts and indulge in inappropriate actions. To earn the special grace of God, you must be in good company and do good deeds. Then God will make your container bigger to harvest His Grace!
