Am new to this thread and have missed it for quite some time.
Any body have referred to the songs from Adutha veetu pen.
1. Kannale pesi pesi kolladhe ( Not the Remix , original ofcourse Remix is a good Kuthu pattu )
2. Kangalum kavi paduthe
3. Malayil Malar solayil
Ah each and every song is just superb. The music by a less known person Mr. Adi narayan Rao.
Vow just superb.

Especially the song Kannale pesi pesi kolladhe have a music at the background that it is like A broom stick rubbing over an Empty kerosine tin. Really hats off to Mr. Rao ( Even in the movie A.Karunanidhi will be performing this action.).

Breaking the rule not cool our thread owner( Starter ) valli to accept.
Valli though we are all old and pose as matured etc still you see the response to Kuthu which is 2 fold than pathos and beauti songs.
Think we have an inclination for kuthu immaterial of our age etc.
Kunjuppu sir enge onge side lerundhu kuthu onnayum kanom.

Jothika is pretty. Not the slim-esque, fair skinned, high cheekboned, tall of legs and structure like Katrina kaif or the kapoor clan. Jothika, now married to surya, represents the look of the girl next door – south Indian neighbourly – short, a little chubby, baby faced, nice calm eyes and a clean mouth.

A newcomer to tamil movies, I am only seeing some of the old movies of jothika and coming to love this lass’ acting skills. It is just too bad, that feudal mentality still rules the sivakumar clan, that prohibits his daughter in law from continuing to act, though there is a rumour, that jothika might spring up in a movie, paired with hubby surya.

The movie mozhi, as I have reviewed elsewhere in the forum, was strongly recommended to me by mrs k.

This song, ‘kaatrin mozhi’, is from mozhi, and stands out, as among the best usage of tamil in modern tamil cinema music lyrics – simple yet deep enough to appreciate the love of a self reliant deaf & mute person. Going against jothika in the movie & song, is prithvi raj. A tough rule, but prithivi almost pulls of the prime kudos in the movie. Almost.

I agree with you sir, Jyothika, is very sweet looking, and a very good artist.. I also had stopped watching any movies and now and then I would come across a few.. and Mozhi was one of my favorites as well.. well acted by all.. I liked her in Chandramuki as well.. I know the original in Malayalam was too good.. more natural true to kerala style.. another actor in the recent times is Sneha, she was very good in " parthiban Kanavu" love this song from that movie..
