Let me ask you a question. What would you think of a person who does the following:
- Up until 1986 Haiti was ruled by Duvalier family. They swindled millions from an already impoverished country and kept the population under a brutal oppression, Under their secret police called Tonton Macoutes, tens of thousands of Haitians were murdered. All this was well known even during thir regime. Yet this greatly beloved and widely revered godperson had a very close relationship with this family and received huge sums of money.
- In the U.S. there was a fellow called Charles Keating. His criminal racketeering resulted in tens of thousands of seniors loosing their retirement to the tune of 250 million dollars. When Keating was convicted and about to be sentenced, this godperson, who had nothing to say for those who lost all their savings, wrote to judge asking him to go easy on Keating.
- This godperson received the best of care when sick, yet this godperson thought pain and suffering of the sick under her care is a mark of closeness to god.
- For all the millions she received from around the globe for the touted charity work, most was spent on constructing convents in her name.
- With so much suffering in the world for this godperson known for exceptional compassion, use of contraception is a sin and abortion is the foremost threat to peace.
What would you say about this godperson?

People get mesmerized by image creation. "Mother" Teresa was an expert at it. Nityanandan as well. People fall for such images due to various reasons, primarily due to their gullibility. It is this gullibility that gets exploited by godmen, godwoen, astrologers, soothsayers, miracle workers, and a whole lot of them. Attacking one individual, that too one who has already been exposed, does little. What we need to do is to turn people away from superstitions. For this you need to be opposed to all superstitions. You can't play favorites.
