Humour is the Best Medicine for a tired mind.
Let us enjoy a naughty but subtle humour:
Having invited a pompous business acquaintance to his private club, the businessman
greeted his guest and offered him a drink.
"No, Thank you" the guest replied " I don't drink - I tried it once and didn't like it"
Later, inviting his guest to join him in a game of cards, he received the same reply:
"No, thank you, I don't play Cards - I tried it once, and did't like it".
An invitation to play billiards elicited a similar reaction, followed by an awakward pause.
At length the guest continued "of course, my son Charles is really quite skilled at billiards
and plays frequently".
"Ah", said the host, "your only son, I presume?"
