I do have girl friends and all these exists till to-day... But read the story ..first part...and it was taboo even to talk to each other by a girl & a boy in 70's...that too when a family was without mother... Society did not accept it but it went on..

Yeah!!! That's absolutely true. The society, especially in 1970's may be suspicious about the conduct of these girls, receiving help from 3 guys. Suspicious about possible deals between girls and these boys.

Highly challenging both for the sisters and for the guys to cope up with this and still continue to recieve help and offer help out of good and determined heart.

It's certainly a great endeavor towards shouldering these struggling girls.

Eldest Daughter - Savithri, who struggles hard for the sake of her family (father & sister), works taking up a nurse's maid job.

Ram & Sebastian - Friends of Savithri. They help her financially to some extent, honestly without expecting anything in return. Their relationship is humanly on mental plane.

Ram - Your class mate who offered you to be in their friends circle, made you getting close to Savithri and her family.

Youngest Daughter / Savithri's younger Sister - Raji. She is studying in Ethiraj college, doing her final Bsc.

"You" - are sponsoring for Raji's studies AND this was possible only after Ram persuaded Savithri to accept your help (for the sake of Savithri and Raji)

NOW, The question is how far such assistance gonna continue?? What will be the Future of Savithri and Raji?

What is the answer for these sisters safe, descent and happy survival?? How their Live gonna shape for the better?


With the above inputs, we gonna follow part 2 of the story.

Fine then!! It should be "I" instead of "YOU" in my synopsis and no doubt, as you have indicated - "I" is some one else and its not you (TVK)

...6th, July, 1973...Friday......6.30 A.M.....


It is almost two months passed since Savithri and Raji lost 'Iyer'.. their father.....In spite of illhealth his the support to Savithri and Raji was something commendable... Financial position of Savithri slightly improved after I got a job for Raji in my friend's company...


Un-opened cover from father is lying on the table.....I know what it will have... Every 3rd or 4th week father is sending either a photo of some girl or bio-data... Having completed my academic pursuit,and promoted in the office... it is a natural expectation of any parents for their son to get married and settle in life....


But...but...day by day ...I am being drawn closer and closer to Savithri....Our friendship blossomed ...and at the same time I am getting a feeling ....the friendship goes beyond it.......Sub-consciously. ....there is an inner thinking...I may be right or I may be wrong.....But it is realy nagging me for quite sometime..... Who ever marry Savithri ...he will be the luckiest one in this world....Why not It be 'Myself'.....?.....Is it possible...? will she agree to it...?.....Will the parents give consent...?..Father may agree..but mother...?...I have to convice her... How to ask Savithri...? When...?....What if she refuses...? I have to wait...but how long...?.....

I have noticed in Tamil Movies that its always a situation where a person has to confess his/her feelings to the person they love.
I find that weird cos love is NOT like that.

When we love someone..the friendship changes to a different level gradually.

Body language changes and the feeling of love is implied.Like Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in second half of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
Where they met after many years and realized that their feelings have gone to a different level.

No one has to even confess and make a declaration of love.
The feeling is mutual and its understood.

Tones of voice changes..glances become a loving gaze and the eyes say it all.

Next step is where there is less barrier in holding each other.

People who are starting to fall in love might not feel so conscious of walking close enough for shoulders to touch.

Next stage is a light hug and rest I leave it to your imagination cos each couple has their own limits of displaying affection.

So the part of any Tamil Movie where a person has no idea if someone loves him or not, I find really weird.
If all the above sign and symptoms have not happened love is not in the cards.

I guess the film makers of Tamil movies have not really been in love to know the finer details.

Yes..It is true ..but it is applicable ONLY if the love is mutual.. There are many No. of people who were not successful in their love because of the other party not inclained... I have come across many people whose love became successful after expressing the same through some friends/relatives and breaking the barrier...
