Recently, I went to Browsing Centre, when my system was not working,
I noticed a middle aged man looking live ugly and nonsense pictures as you mentioned above
in a public place. Days are getting bad.

Balasubramanian
Ambattur

Sri. Balasubramaniyan, Greetings.

Next time if you come across such a person, kindly ask him/her to engage a private booth before opening such explicit pages. Such persons have no business to expose minors to such pictures. Such acts are to be condemned. That person, as an adult could watch what he desired, but had no business to expose children to such pictures. Personally, I would have intervened. Days are not getting bad; we are getting complacent. We don't want to interfere anymore; we don't want to demand someone to stop doing an act offensive if done in public for everyone to see.

By the way, I am middle aged. I know some of the sites very well where this kind of stuff in mounted in huge heaps. (Some of the members discuss with me about my local weather, drought/flood conditions and about my general health.... we are familiar with each other so much! but I never judge about them although some of them even take part in such acts. Nor they judge me). It is a different world!

Cheers!

Renu,

The body has become worn out. The head has become bald or turned gray. The mouth has become toothless. The old man moves about with the support of crutches. Even then, the attachment is so strong that he clings firmly to the bundle of desires.

That is nicely quoted from Baja Govindham! i love it!

Cheers!

........... So he is making himself visually happy!........
A few days back I wrote about Sri. Balamuralikrishna who likes to watch fight scenes in movies, just because he can NOT fight like a hero! :fencing:

He said this in one of the interviews on a TV channel.

Sowbagyavathy VR, Greetings.

Here the "singles" seek company (and fun?)

The moment the P.C is switched on we get photos of the sex-hungry females and men

Hopefully, most of these sites are advertisements for prostitution. i said 'hopefully' because the gullible participant get something 'meaty' after running around and spending a bit of money; some sites are nothing but fradulent fronts designed only to loot money from lonely, elderly persons who lack the self-confidence. I have watched at least two pathetic stories where elderly men lost to the tune of 100,000 dollars just on some pictures and lot of promises!

Cheers!

You see all these are my exam questions for coming August so I get a chance to type and revise at the same time.

BTW today my consultation room AC is not working and the repair man will only be here in 4 hours time.
I have been sitting here since morning and it is really getting hot in here.

But you know how I am keeping myself cool?

I keep thinking of this verse from Geeta..see Geeta even has a verse to tolerate a faulty AC!!

TEXT 14
matra-sparsas tu kaunteya

agamapayino 'nityas
tams titiksasva bharata
TRANSLATION

O son of Kunti, the nonpermanent appearance of happiness and distress, and their disappearance in due course, are like the appearance and disappearance of hot and cold seasons. They arise from sense perception, O scion of Bharata, and one must learn to tolerate them without being disturbed.

Dear RR Ji,

But some people want to get tips right before the indulge in Action!!LOL

So you also got to see some pics by looking at the middle aged man's Computer screen.!!LOL

Sir..we have no idea what that person is going through in life.

So he is making himself visually happy!

Days are not bad sir..desire has been there since day one of creation.

You see in days where there was no internet humans entertained themselves too but in different ways.

So it all boils down to desires.
All of us have different desires and that man's desire is just different from some of us ..that's all.

But technically all of us are Guilty of the Crime of Desire in one way or the other.

Verse 6:
ANGAM GALITAM PALITAM MUNDAM
DASANAVIHEENAM JAATAM TUNDAM
VRIDHDHO YAATI GRIHEETWA DANDAM
TADAPI NA MUNCHATYAASHAAPINDAM

Renuka Madam is 'bit' of surprise to me..[ may be I am new ]...How come she knows so many things from , Puranas, Vedas etc.. Sometimes I envy her... as I know most of the doctors are not interested beyond development of their professional knowldge...

P.S. This is not JAALRA to Renuka Madam... Unfortunately I am always frank in what I feel..good or bad.. liked by others or not..

A WOMAN of this size and proportion can never be an Olympic contestant! :nono:

I thought the major discrepancy is the placement of diving board. Is it not always placed length-wise direction of the pool? (as against the placement breadth-wise in the pic) The olympic size swimming specification is that length should be at least twice the breadth with a minimum of 50 m length.

Shri Adi Sankaracharya Bhagavad Patha before reciting Bhaja Govindam in praise
of Lord Venkateswara, experienced an event, which I humbly submit below for the
information of everyone.

Once HE was in Varanasi, as HE is a staunch devotee of Lord Shiva. He was always
giving more weight-age to Lord Shiva than Parvathi (Sakthi). Every time Adi Shankara
used to debate in favour of Lord Shiva only. Owing to this, Sakthi was little upset
over Adi Shankara because the arguments came from Adi Shankara's mouth in favour
of Lord Shiva. Sakthi knows that Adi Shankara was a realized soul and knowledge of
Brahma Vidya (Brahman Knowledge = God realization).

Once Adi Shankara was lying on the Banks of Ganges with his head towards South
and feet facing towards North. He saw a Girl coming towards him and asking him
to move his legs, so that she can pass through that way to fetch water from the
Ganges. Sankara said, being a lady, O Mother, go by jumping over the legs
if she so desires, as He is not able to move, because he was very much tired. However,
the Girl refused to jump over body being a Brahmana. She requested Adi Shankara
to move the legs. Adi Shankara, in his reply, in a different tone, "don't you understand
that I told you, I am tired and I am not able to move my legs". (Here the quotation
says - Ignorance separates people as Brahmana, Kshatriya, Vaisya and Sudra.
Everyone and Everything is Brahmana). Adi Shankara further mentioned that you may
not commit any sin by jumping over me, as I am too tried and not able to move my
legs, Mother. The Girl, in reply, told Adi Shankara, let me move your tried legs and
pass by that. Adi Shankara in a witty reply mentioned to the Girl, you may do whatever
you want. The Girl then lifted his legs and made sufficient space to pass through that
way. The Girl came back that way after fetching water. Adi Shankara asked that Girl,
could you kindly give water to quench the thirst. The Girl soon replied with a smile
that you are only lying on the banks of the Ganges and you are so near to the water.
You may go and drink yourself. Adi Shankara, again little with irritation, on hearing
the Girl's reply, told her that he had already mentioned to her stating that he is too much
tired and not able to move because of weakness, etc. The girl just rolled her eyes and
uttered in a voice that shook the sky at once. "Adi Shankara, perhaps you ignored
Shakthi. Did you not say that Shakthi is not powerful. She said Sakthi is power of
Lord Shiva, depicted as His consort. Siva is Sava (Dead) without Sakthi". It amounts
to that without Shakthi is it is just like a wallet without money.

Adi Shankara was immediately taken aback and shakened by the tone of that Girl
and the meaning of the words. Adi Shankara shut his eyes and opened them to find
waves of Light in HER eyes equal to a thousand Suns and Moons. Adi Shankara
ran to HER to seek refuge. The Light and the Girl disappeared.

Dear TVK ji,

I hear this statement many times..even when I attended World Sanskrit Fair in Jan 2011 in B'lore many people were surprised to know I was a doctor.

They said the same thing too that "how come a doctor is interested in something out of her field?"

My reply was this.."Variety is the spice of life"

TVK ji..you see in my profession I need to heal the sick but to cross the ocean of Samsara everyone needs to heal themselves.

So religious text are like medicine to the soul.

Many People do not follow the three monkeys!

May be they think that these are to be followed only by monkeys!!
:suspicious:

Dear RR ji,

We do not follow this cos we do not believe in Darwin's theory of Evolution.

Since we did not come from monkeys do you really think we would want to follow the three monkey's advise?:becky:

That was very well put. Sounds so polite and nice and to the point.

Renuka,

I don't follow them either. We can't stop evil by ignoring them. We have to hear about them, we have to witness them, we have to talk in protest about them.... and act against them if we are seriously thinking about eradicating them. But unfortunately, most people are like these monkies... hiding their heads in the sand and wishing for the world to become better by itself! Doesn't look like it is happening, does it?

Cheers!

For me it is like this:

See whatever you want
Hear whatever you want
Speak whatever you want as long we do not harm anyone else!!

You see Raghy..many people can't stand seeing anything evil for example anything X rated cos they might not be able to control themselves and have fear they might get influenced by what they hear or see.

But you see after all what is there in anything which is so Evil?
Evil is only a perception.
It's all in the mind.

For some, X rated stuff might be "evil" for me and I am sure for you too it is just human body and art!!LOL

Hey Raghy..with post like this someone reading it might think I am the Devil marketing Evil!!LOL

Renuka,

Reference to #2767. When I say evil, I mean evil acts by others.. not X rated stuff. I mean like bullying vulnerable, bothering people, looting, cheating such kind of stuff. We have to learn about those things and actively oppose them. That's what I meant. ( I am going to hit the sack... have to sleep.. night shift.. bye).

Cheers!

It is Google contest Sir! So they chose to fit in the letters in the pool with the lady facing us!! :decision:

Don't be silly! You just have an open mind. It is nice to see you can see a human being beyond all the habits and interests. But then, you would have come across so many patients with shocking life styles.

You know, one of the residents under my care is suscetible to self harm. One afternoon I knew she was vulnerable; I was planning to spend time with her from 4.30 PM to get her settled. She came to the nursing station at 4:15 PM. I asked her " How are you?" she said " not so good Yaggy". I asked her " What's wrong?" She said " I hurt myself" I said " Show me".. she showed... In the left forarm just below the elbow about 5 CM long, 3 CM deep, a clean surgical precision cut. I almost jumped out of my skin! I calmed down and said " You did a neat job, didn't you?".... How I managed that situation was history. Compared to what we face in reality, those movies and pictures are child's play!

Cheers!

Dear Renuka Maam,
i would like to protest strongly that we have great examples of people following this gandian principles in toto. Mr.Manmohan singh follows the never open our mouth monkey, Ms.Mamata banerjee follows the monkey of not listening to any body and Mr.Karunanidhi follws the monkey of not seeing any thing ( his family & party members looting the nation) LOL.....
