I am yet to see a Quitter who is so proud of his achievements!!! :)

My full name is Raghavan Raman. I live in Brisbane, Australia. I am absolutely happy I quit when I should. I am happy about that decision. When I quit in Canada, that was the last time I quit, I was hangning for a job paying between $20 to $23 per hour. I quit. While studying I wa getting an average $25 per hour for 32 hours per week while I was studying. Now I get an average of $ 30 /hour for 38 hours per week.

I am a quitter who is so proud of hisd achievements that were possible only because I had the mind to quit; only because I could swallow my pride and quit so that I could do other things which could be much more profitable.

Quitting is very good at times. It worked very well not just once, but 3 to 4 times very well for me. There was a time I quit in the face of a multi-millionaire risking a suit; What do you know? I found a solicitor who backed me up on a 'Contract Basis!'. He had that millionaire kiss my a.... It was in 2000. I happily quit at that time. That solicitor can be found in Toowong, Brisbane anytime. Quittting is a bold decision. Cowards can't handle that.

In 2000 I quit, then got a job getting an average of $25 per hour, workig 60 hours per week. I was so aggressive and confident I did it 3 times a day an average 5 days per week. During 2000 Xmas I bought diamonds worth $2,500 when I took Padma for a grocery shopping.. surprise shopping! she said she had hots for me in the shopping centre!.. all because I quit when it was right to quit.

I am proud of quitting when I did. Today I am getting an average of $30 plus per hour because I had the fore-sight to quit in 2006 when it is right time to quit.

Quitting workeed very well for me. Quitting is right when one has to quit. I quit at the right time, now the bank is chasing me asking me to take up the mortgage they approved for 1.5 million dollars.... not that I am too keen. the bank knows I am a very good risk. The bank knows I don't have pride; would quit when I have to.

Mami, I am glad to introduce myself.. Raghavan Raman who will happily quit when it is right to quit; who doen't get any dent in his pride when he quits. Why? he came to this country with just $100 ( no typo. Just one hundred dollars); no friends or no relatives. He left Padma and his son son in India and came on his own... roughed as much as required.... Quit? doesn't worry him.

You are interacting one of the most successful quitters! this quitter at one time did not have enough money to buy a 10 paise plain wills cigarette when he was young; now has some $150,000 in spare cash. Why? he knows when to quit.

Speaking of quitting, I am quitting this discussion now.

Cheers!

I got it Renu!

இனியும் என்ன வேண்டும் ஒரு வேலைக்காரிக்கு.

ஒரு வீட்டுக்காரியின் பாட்டை அறியவேண்டுமா?

As it turned out, none of the kids at the birthday party were afraid of the snake. Instead, they fought over who was going to eat the head. :scared:

Life

To love playthings well as a child,

to lead an adventurous and honorable youth,

and to settle when the time arrives ,

into a green and smiling age,

is to be a good artist in life and

deserve well of yourself and your neighbor.

My elder son was thinking aloud why the subsequent children :baby:

are much better behaved than the first born!

Is it because the parents themselves are more relaxed :couch2:

and the children are free from the infectious tension of its parents??? :noidea:

My little grandson became very fond of school

after going there just for three days!

The secret was out yesterday. :gossip:

His mother who is volunteering in the school

plays with him outdoors for the first two hours.

Once inside the class room he becomes the monopolist

of the lap of one of the four teachers and

makes her sing for him for the rest of the class hours. :sing:

So WHY NOT???

:nono:

அபஸ்வரம் கேட்டால் காதுகளுக்கே தெரிந்துவிடும்! :ear:

Define a booster dose!

The SUDDEN kick given at the unexpected moment

in order to demolish a structure but which instead

backfires and boosts it beyond imagination!

If you do not believe me here are the statistics !

16th Aug 9-54 P.M (IST) ....views (also reads???) 22178!!!

Can you imagine how the person who caused this kind of boost

(468 views / reads in 48 hours)

MUST BE kicking himself for having done this
???

Light

Truly the light is sweet, and a pleasant thing

yet let him remember the days of darkness;

During the Olympics (Before) and while basking in the glory of gold medals (After) !

Either way she is not spared to mind her OWN business! :nono:

LIFE is LIKE that!

That Douglas has received criticism for getting a highly publicized makeover this week is almost as laughable as the response to her hairstyle during competition.

What elite athlete would be more concerned with her hair than her performance during the Olympics? And what 16-year-old girl wouldn't want to look her best before a week's worth of appearances on reality TV and the late-night talk show circuit?

Douglas had it exactly right last week when she brushed off her critics by telling reporters she was more focused on winning Olympic gold than looking perfect during every routine. And she'll have it exactly right again this week if she explains she got a haircut to look her best on camera.

This is a 16-year-old girl who has handled Olympic pressure and media scrutiny with poise and grace so far. How about we stop paying so much attention to her hair and start giving her more credit for that?

Whenever we meet an elder, we say Namaskaram and also when we invite some
one to our House also we show our hands together to express to them a heartiest
welcome. It is rather a most most popular form of greetings in India. Rather it
can be termed to welcome somebody and also for bidding farewell. A simple
method is adopted for this, i.e. both the palms are placed together and raised below
the face to greet a person. The truth behind this is that both the hands symbolise
one's pure mind. It is said that the right hand represents higher nature while the left hand
indicates worldly or lower nature. In our place we say Vanakkam, in North India
Namasthey, Punjabi say Sat-Sri-akal. Muslims say Adaab, etc.

There is yet another principle behind it, i.e. Vanakkam and Namaskaram, etc indicates
the obedience. The word Namaskaram denotes that one bends to some one in words
and secondly it is a selfless act. That is why, we say, everything is arpanam or surrender
(saranagathi) to God. Hence, when we visit the temple, we pray to God which is called
Namaskaram.
