The day i saw my friends and even my daughter & SIL daughter spending endless hours on FB i did noteven open a account, though as Mr.Krish says the tools are good but people tend to use them for ulterior motives. I am happy with TB and few other sites... No FB, though daily we get invitation.. i just delete them....

but the New Generation access FB through their smart phones /laptops/Tablets and hence they are with it round the clock and always curious as to who responded to their post and what they wrote

Very Correctly said. A brilliant student of IIM Bangalore committed suicide if i remember correctly two months back as her boyfriend posted that he has broken away from her and is celebrating the independence vis a celebration photo with friends. That girl broken hearted committed suicide. APaprt from feeling sorry for the girl i could not hink of mre stupid action than her suicide, and most the people who had commented on the news item blamed the girl... not the FB which was the cause of the death.

Getting a seat in IIM one has to be brilliant but that brilliance has not been translated to great achievements in life but just withered off... so sad.
So much can be added of FB and its impact on the younger generation...

Post 4121, would just love to see his reaction if you can hold on to the toy for more than a day!!! .Such Smartness in todays childrens!! Amazing act , at that same time i can see the delight in your post as a mother how much you have enjoyed his give & take policy!!

A similar situation happened here with a fellow doc who divorced his wife(also a doc) and posted pics in FB saying he is enjoying his new found freedom with friends in a pub.

The ex wife saw the pics and got real mad and she vowed she will marry again as soon as possible.

So she married again real fast and posted all her wedding pics and the ex husband was OMG! she married again!

I gave him the toy when we reached home itself...did not have the heart to hold it on for 1 day.
I know he would have waited anyway also and then surely he would have asked "would you mind if I were to play with the toy?"

Like once when he was in LKG he was making noise in class along with some other kids and they were made to stand in class at the corner.
Most of the kids were crying cos of this and one boy was giving angry stares at the teacher for making him stand.

The teacher told me that only my son was polite and kept smiling at her and she let him go to his seat fast and kept the others standing still.

At home I told him.."good you did not cry or get angry with the teacher and she let you sit down fast"

Then he said "other kids were silly to cry and to get angry..by smiling teacher would think I am a good boy and let me sit down fast"

Dear sir,

The matter has been settled and forum is in peace now.
May be you were not in forum for a while.
Praveen has informed us members that he wont be around for sometime due to some emergency and to maintain our cool in forum.

So I hope you do not bring up all old settled issues sir.

All of us have forgotten what happened and are back to normal now.

your doubt is valid .those who want to take different avatars may use different pc/laptop with different net connection . many are using office and home net connection .i am a retired person and have only one computer and not using any others pc /browsing centre .my post will be traced from only one ip address .the same person having two avathars can be traced only when he uses the same computer

late KALKI(r.krishnamurthy ) Ra.Ki.Rangarajan has different pen name for writing jokes,cinema etc.

the post highlighted the the feeling &excitement of a mother irrespective of their knowledge .but i still wonder how a 1 year child grasped the discussion and acted for 1 hour duration and repeated the same .

People want too much acceptance from everyone.
Anything denied or refused or delayed upsets them.
It is good to know what exactly we want.
It is better to wait patiently till we can get it.
Even my little grand daughter keeps saying,
"daddy! I want THIS right now!!!"
impatient to wait till he becomes free.
My grandson always asks his daddy,
"Daddy! Are you busy?"
If me son answers in the affirmative,
the little chap won't bother him
but he will catch hold of his mother! :)

My elder son used to sit patiently on the table and

listen to the tuition when I taught calculus to a student much older than me!

His love for calculus became prominent as soon as he was in the elementary school.

He learned differentiation and integration long before his other classmates did.

Remember how Abhimanyu is supposed to have learned about
