I don't try to impress people anywhere.
I know it is impossible to impress all the people
or to make everyone happy.
I write mostly because I have something to say
and try to say it as frankly and fearlessly as possible.
I also know that
Yathaarthavadi bahu jana virodhi!
Most of the time it is me!

மாமி,

Kindly read my message in #474 once again, please. I clearly said your messages don't sound like you are trying to impress anyone. But, Mr. Ozone in #470 said "if you can't impress, try baffling!" and you clicked 'like' for that message. I was wondering about that! எல்லாத்தையும் புளி போட்டு தேய்ச்சு விளக்க முடியுமா? There you have it! So, who is trying to impress or failing which bafflling? any idea? you are the frequent poster here, so thought of asking you!

Cheers!

Dear Raghy

I beg to differ. I, for one don't believe Tmt VR is trying to 'impress' anyone. Apparently, she reads
a lot and when she finds something thought-provoking / stimulating / inspiring / humorous, she
just shares them win us. I find nothing ulterior in that.

On the contrary, I have been 'impressed' with her sportive sense-of-humor. He flexibility of mind gives
her the capacity to give us great philosophical inputs as well as giggle at teen-age 'thrills'.

She's 'sparkling' in her own patented manner.

Dear Sri. Anand Manohar, Greetings.

I beg to differ. I, for one don't believe Tmt VR is trying to 'impress' anyone....

Where are you differing with me? I also said in post #474 and post # 528 that Smt. V R 's messages don't soud like she is trying to impress anyone. You are saying the same thing. I fail to see any difference. I am only asking asking her if she knows anyone that trys to impress in this thread; that's all.

Cheers!

Actually this is not always true. When I was a teenager I had a dog.....whenever he was given a bath and when he was dry he would walk right upstairs to the prayer room and sit there till my father does the evening pooja.

He would never step into the house or the prayer room on any other day where he had not had his bath.

That is because of perfect taming and training....

It is a golden rule applicable for everyone.
So I liked the post. :thumb:
That made me post the "Clarify or kilarify" subsequently! :)

dear Mr. A.M,
I did not know that my style was patented even by me!!!
I am a Happy Haathi! :)
I can't remain sad or morose for long.
Good for me too! :peace:
I have studied that Aanandam is the real nature of Aatma.
Why should we try to go against nature and suffer?
You can start signing as A.M. ...not that I hate for signing the way you do!:nono:
you made fun of me and my better half.
I made fun of you. So we break even.
No more hard feelings OK? :tea:

I know none who writes to impress people whom one does not know!
How many people have shared their photos to give us an idea of whom we are taking to?

I will try to add cartoon figures wherever they will fit in.
I am sure adults too do grin when they see them.

Must belong to the category of great baktaas reborn as
a snake worshiping Siva, a monkey attending Ramayana discourse etc.

My son had two rabbits. One of them, the male, looked like a deer and the other a girl looked like a lamb.

The female I used to call as "Aattukkutti" since had the head and face of a black and white lamb. She loved to watch our Hindi movies. She will stretch out her limbs and settle comfortably in front of the T.V. screen.

She watched both "Chak de India" and "Om Shanthi Om" fully. The male just did not bother even to take glimpse.

Corollary:
All females are attracted by the big screen, the movies and the serials. :)

1 . If not for anything else [ but irritate you ] I will sign-off as " YAY YEM"

2 . I never made 'fun' of you or your Hubbyji - just that Renuka's research papers
seem to infer that good-looking men are more likely to be faithful than
ordinary-looking men. As to 'better-half' and 'worse-half', well that's debatable !

3 . In your posts on " Chooha ", I think you forgot to mention that Vinayakar browses the
whole universe on his 'mouse', long long before - yugas / kalpams before man was even
created !

4 . As regards your post on ' burping pundit' , I don't see any reason why Apaana Vaayu
should be superior to the other four. And I don't think it always goes upwards! Infact,
considering it as a 'research topic' I have done a bit of study on this [ for your sake,
since you made me "Think it Over" ] and shall mail the interim report on the findings
shortly.

5 . Me harboring hard feelings ? No, never - I know you are the type who will talk "TO" a person
[ if you had an issue with him/her ] and not talk 'ABOUT' that person.

The deer-like rabbit was 110+ years old on the rabbit's life-span-scale.

He suffered from cataract and arthritis and was unable to hop around.

My son kept him as comfortable as possible - better than the way sons take care of their parents, or grandparents.

He kept a room heater for the rabbit corner. He added an air filter when it started losing hair.

He would give him some drops (rabbit vitamin?)

At times I used to envy these rabbits...for two reasons.

They had the good fortune of living with my son in his house and the amount of attention they got from him and his wife.

The Aattukkuti also loved the old rabbit.

It made him wish to live longer.

The old rabbit pulled on for long because of the love and care he got but died peacefully very recently.

The Aattukkutti became lonely and followed him quite unexpectedly a few days ago.

My daughter-in-law had been delaying getting babies since she thought
babies and bunnies do not mix well!

As if they had read her thoughts, they took off one after another before their son arrived.

They must have really loved my son and his family deeply.

Or my son will having the additional responsibility of taking caring of these bunnies in addition to his new born son, his three year old daughter and his wife (ordered to stay upstairs and take rest for at least a month).

Dear Doc

We have too many Doctors in the family - over two dozen, spread over three generations
but this one made me think of you !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doctor to patient: " I have gone through all your investigative test reports but
I am unable to find out the cause of your problem. I think, it must be the alcohol".

Patient to doctor : " I fully understand, Doc, I can come back tomorrow, when you

are sober ".

The Aattukkutti was really a high spirited girl. :moony:

She used climb on to the terrace of her rabbit castle (made of card board) and survey the surroundings like the Queen of the olden days.

When a third rabbit was lodged in the same room for a few days,
she would tease him and bite him, whenever possible.

My son had to partition the living room into two portions when they were let out to play. She would hurt him through the fencing grid.

Then we had to add a folded bed sheet on to the grid to make the partition really complete. I used to call it as the Indo-Pak border line!

Her favorite game was startling my husband. :fear:

I really can't understand how a six footer can be frightened by a bunny.

But he WAS and she KNEW it. So whenever released from her corner

she will make a beeline to my husband making him jump up violently!

She simply loved it. She would quietly sniff his toes sending shivers through him. :scared:

Really naughty girl! A Rabbit-Tomboy???
