dear Sir,
Nice to know you are still in the forum. :)
My father used to say that people are busier during holidays than during the working days.
He was never wrong as I can see from your post.
Have a great time with your little ones and the growing plants!
with warm regards,
V.R.

When my elder son successfully married his fiance from Malaysia,
the wedding memento they presented to all those who had come,
was a small glass ware made specially for the occasion
with Einstein's quotation printed on it, after
packing it in a lavender colored velvet bag!
Everyone liked it so much they wanted to
take home more than one piece each-
may be for drinking tequila!!!:rolleyes:

It made me laugh to see the
mighty elephant (avatar) with impressive tusks
and the crafty rat (avatar) with its fangs
liking the SAME post and be placed side by side! :)

Tequila
Courtesy Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Tequilas of various styles

Tequila (Spanish pronunciation:
[teˈkila]) is a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant, primarily in the area surrounding the city of Tequila, 65 kilometres (40 mi) northwest of Guadalajara, and in the highlands (Los Altos) of the western Mexican state of Jalisco.

The red
volcanic soil in the surrounding region is particularly well suited to the growing of the blue agave, and more than 300 million of the plants are harvested there each year.

Agave tequila grows differently depending on the region. Blue agaves grown in the highlands region are larger in size and sweeter in aroma and taste. Agaves harvested in the lowlands, on the other hand, have a more herbaceous fragrance and flavor.

Mexican laws state that tequila can be produced only in the state of Jalisco and limited regions in the states of
Guanajuato, Michoacán, Nayarit, and Tamaulipas.

Mexico has claimed the exclusive international right to the word "tequila", threatening legal actions against manufacturers of distilled blue agave spirits in other countries.

equila is most often made at a 38–40% alcohol content (76–80
proof), but can be produced between 35–55% alcohol content (70–110 proof). Though most tequilas are 80 proof, many distillers will distill to 100 proof and then dilute it with water to reduce its harshness. Some of the more respected brands distill the alcohol to 80 proof without using additional water as a dilutant.

P.S.

I believe it goes right to the person's head!!! :spit:

So one tequila... two tequila will be
followed by a LOUD THUD!!!
:faint:

The Crafty எலி,

Sometimes can be a புலி,

The nibbling types that can gnaw at a गिरि

And make anyone tremble including a हाथी

we will not get any diease from elephant ,but we will get plaque like epidamic dieases from a rat.

I guess no one went near enough to an elephant to get any Pachyderm virus.

Anyway in religious poems always the Mada of an Elephant is described.
An exudate from the temples of an elephant that makes it run wild.

So in that way we can say let not the Mada of the Pachyderm(हस्तिमद) infect us.

dear renukaji!
it is absolutely true.elephant will be dangerous while we are present in his territory,but rats are hazhardous even we are not having physical contact. rat will eataway everything silently while elephant can not do it in the same way.
elephant will exhust eveything at one stroke where as the rat will slowly reduce our resources
so both are doing spoil game

[h=1]இனம் இனத்தோடு…![/h]
உலகினை வெறுத்து, உண்மையைத் தேடி;
உள்ளத்தை அடக்கி, உன்னித் தவம் செய்த;
ஒரு முனி மடியில், விழுந்தது சிறு எலி;
பருந்திடமிருந்து, திமிறிப் பிழைத்தது.

தன் தவ வலிமையால் அச்சிறு எலியை,
தவழும் குழந்தையாய் மாற்றினான் முனிவன்.
தவத்தையும் மறந்து, குழவியைப் பேணி,
தாயும், தந்தையுமாய், மாறினான் முனிவன்.

காலம் பறந்தது, நாட்கள் உருண்டன;

கனத்த மனத்தோடு, வருந்திய போதிலும்;
மனத்துள் வாழ்த்தி, மணம் செய்வித்தான்.

கதிரவனையும், கார் மேகத்தையும் விட,
காற்றையும், கனத்த கல் மலையையும் விட,
சிற்றெலி தான் சிறந்தவன் என்று நம்மால்
சிரிக்காமல் சொல்ல முடியுமா பாரும்!

வாழ்க வளமுடன்,
விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.

Anima and Animus.

It is nature’s law that opposite things must coexist. All human beings have both masculine and feminine energies. Similarly each individual has both the masculine and the feminine part of the Psyche.

The feminine part of a male’s psyche is called The Anima. It is the personification of all the feminine psychological tendencies in a man’s mind.

The masculine part of a female’s psyche is called The Animus. It is the personification of all the masculine psychological tendencies in a woman’s mind.

Human biological and psychological development depends on this mixture of the masculine and feminine energies. Anima and Animus are shaped by relating to and associating with the parent of the opposite sex. A man’s anima is influenced by his mother and a woman’s animus by her father.

Anima and Animus can influence a person in a positive or a negative manner. A man under the influence of positive Anima will show tenderness, patience, consideration and compassion. The negative Anima will be exhibited as vanity, meanness, moodiness and verbal attacks.

A woman with positive Animus will exhibit assertiveness, rationality in thoughts, self control and compassionate strength. The negative Animus will exhibit in strong opinions, ruthlessness, destructive forces, brutality, obstinacy and an uncontrollable urge to make decisions on each and every issue!

Anima and Animus are not bad in themselves but they should be developed properly. To assimilate the effect of Anima, a man must discover his true feelings. To become familiar with Animus, a woman must constantly question her opinions and ideas.

Anima and Animus must be developed carefully – by the parents, by setting on good examples – lest their children descend to the level of being mere animals!
