[h=3]Dairy farmers spill 14,000 litres of milk in Odisha stir[/h] More than 14,000 litres of milk flowed on streets of Bargarh town in Odisha Thursday after dairy farmers protesting against the state-owned Odisha State Cooperative Milk Producers Federation (Omfed) emptied their cans and then forcibly opened the valve of an Omfed milk tanker. The farmers from Bheden and Atabira block of Bargarh district were protesting against Omfed authorities’ refusal to accept their milk on grounds of adulteration. Omfed CMD Bishnupada Sethi said the farmers had been warned against adulterating milk.

India road collision kills 10 members of one family


A truck and an overcrowded autorickshaw have collided in southern India, killing 10 members of the same family and five others, police said Sunday. Many of the victims were children from the family which was crammed into the autorickshaw and travelling to a temple in Telangana state

The two incinerators can burn about 20 sanitary napkins or diapers in half an hour. Meanwhile, the Slum Sanitation Programme of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) is set to issue tenders for 100 such incinerators across Mumbai for various slum pockets.
