[h=3]Lenders Lower Kingfisher House Reserve Price To Rs 135 Crore[/h] Mumbai: Three months after they failed to sell the Kingfisher House, erstwhile headquarters of the defunct Kingfisher Airlines, lenders have once again put up the property for auction with a lower reserve price of Rs 135 crore so as to part-recover their loans. The 17-bank consortium, led by State Bank of India, had in March tried to sell this flagship property here of liquor baron Vijay Mallya in a bid to recover part of the dues. The auction was a no-show as bidders stayed away citing high reserve price of Rs 150 crore. "The reserve price (for Kingfisher House) is Rs 135 crore below which the property will not be sold," according to a public notice put up by SBI Caps, which is auctioning the property on behalf of the lenders.

A very good question! Let the answer be equally good!!!

  • "If IIT Delhi Can't Have Full Faculty, What Of Other Colleges?"

Indian engineering education is clearly at a crossroads. On the one hand, there is a proliferation of engineering colleges, while on the other there is a sheer lack of quality teachers. Of late, there is also a waning interest in engineering education among students, with many students dropping out of even the high and mighty IITs. The employability of engineering graduates is another concern. If experts are to be believed, only 25 percent of the engineering graduates that India churns out every year are employable. What’s worse is that the salaries commanded by fresh engineering graduates are at par or less than those of commerce graduates, who spend much less time, effort and money on their

Corrected - "Not on the same page": Brexit poses threat to British universities

(Corrects attribution in paragraph 34) By Jeremy Gaunt LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's vote to leave the European Union has left the country's universities with a problem to solve -- how to plug a funding gap and maintain prestige if the flood of students from across the EU slows to a trickle. Before the June 23 referendum backed a British exit, or Brexit, the heads of about 80 percent of British universities issued a joint appeal to "Remain" in the 28-country bloc. Since the vote, universities have been trying to calm their overseas students and to reassure applicants from abroad that nothing
will change -- at least for now because the process of leaving the EU is expected to take at least two years.

[h=3]Bangladesh says some restaurant attackers were well off and educated[/h] Bangladesh police sought more information on Monday from friends and family of the men suspected of carrying out a deadly attack on a restaurant in the capital, and some are believed to have attended top schools and colleges at home and abroad. The gunmen stormed the restaurant in Dhaka's diplomatic zone late on Friday and killed 20 people, most of them foreigners from Italy, Japan, India and the United States, in an assault claimed by Islamic State. It was one of the deadliest militant attacks to date in Bangladesh, where Islamic State and al Qaeda have claimed a series of killings of liberals and religious minorities in the last year while the government says they were carried out by local groups.

To reassure applicants from abroad, the Universities should ensure that the standard of education is not diluted ( stating reasons of lame excuses ......because of Brexit etc.).
