[h=3]8 apps to help you go cashless[/h] Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday night dropped some unexpected news of scrapping Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes. There was chaos everywhere, with people trying to understand the move. Panic-stricken, there were long queues outside ATMs and banks to exchange the now invalid notes. The move is the government’s effort to tackle the spread of counterfeit notes and black money. While this has been appreciated, it is a big change for a country of people who primarily deal in cash. Luckily, online payments and other cashless modes of payment are in practice and slowly gaining popularity.
