in spite of being in the same room all day long!

How many deaths a year are caused by texting and driving?

General Cell Phone Statistics. The National Safety Council reports that cell phone use while driving leads to 1.6 million crashes each year. Nearly 330,000 injuries occur each year from accidents caused by texting while driving. 1 out of every 4 car accidents in the United States is caused by texting and driving.

The figure is just slightly less than 1000 injuries per DAY!!! :moony:
 
Can a car be designed such that when the driver's eyes are

not in the focus in the gadget fixed inside the car ,

the car comes to a stop automatically?

But this may lead to piling up of the cars following

the car of the crazy texting and driving weirdo!
 
I think that even the weird owners of the mauling and killing scary dogs must be denied Insurance!
