[h=3]Daughters cannot inherit ancestral property if father died before 2005, says SC[/h]New Delhi, Nov.3 (ANI): In a major setback for many women across the country, the Supreme Court has said that a daughter's right to ancestral property does not arise if the father died before the amendment to Hindu law came into force in 2005. A bench of Justices Anil R Dave and Adarsh K Goel held that the date of a daughter becoming co-parcener is on and from the commencement of the Act. On September 9, 2005 the landmark amendment to The Hindu Succession Act of 1956, which originally denied women the right to inherit ancestral property ruled that a Hindu woman or a girl will have equal property rights along with her male relatives for any partition made in ancestral property.

BUT keeping silent is a sign of tolerance and not of intolerance! :nono:

[h=3]Intolerance: PM Modi deliberately silent while colleagues keep issues alive, says Arun Shourie[/h]Former Union Minister Arun Shourie said on Monday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s silence on key issues amid growing intolerance in the country was a political decision aimed at winning the Bihar elections. Rejecting the BJP’s defence that the Prime Minister could not be expected to speak on every issue, Shourie told Karan Thapar in an interview on India Today TV: “Prime Minister is not a section officer of the homoeopathy department. Pointing out that Modi finds time to tweet on events such as British PM David Cameron’s birthday, Shourie alleged that his silence on crucial issues was deliberate.

To let... a womb!!! :(

[h=3]The issues around surrogacy[/h]Surrogacy in India is estimated to be a $ 2.3 billion industry, but surrogate mothers are paid less than a tenth of what they get in the US. The mushrooming of IVF clinics, absence of a regulatory framework, and the availability of poor women willing to rent out their wombs has made India an attractive option for foreigners seeking a surrogate child. Several questions have been raised over the alleged exploitation of surrogate mothers, and over the need to safeguard their, the child’s, as well as the commissioning parents’ rights.

May I know whether you mean the caption of the news item
or the comment posted by me at the top? :decision:

Isn't any question thought provoking ONLY to the neutrals
because those who are biased have already made up their minds! :high5:

When a Muslim boy falls in love with a Hindu girl the whole world crumbles down!
WHY?
Any reason true or false is used to punish them and separate them or end their lives.
The politicians paint a picture of this to suit their selfish needs and keep the fire of hatred roaring! :(
The world is becoming smaller by the minute but the hearts of men and women are shrinking faster than that!

Who is to be blame more among these two groups of people....:decision:
Those who swear to kill just for the thrill of the kill
OR
those who swear to stick on to the same dangerous route like mandus??? :der:

May we know what special word has been reserved for those

who shocked and rocked the world with their astronomical scams??? :ear:

  • [h=3]When A Star Speaks Out[/h] Is an artist representative of a religion, community, caste, class and, of course, craft? As we speak, Shah Rukh Khan, Bollywood superstar, is being pilloried for speaking out on religious intolerance and how problematic that can be for creative people.
