 [h=3]Andhra MP Mitun Reddy booked for 'slapping' Air India official[/h] Tirupati/ New Delhi, Nov. 27 (ANI): YSR Congress MP Mithun Reddy was booked on Friday for allegedly slapping an Air India official at the Tirupati Airport after the latter refused to accept the MP and his relatives on the flight for which boarding had been closed. Reddy, however, denied the charge and has instead accused the Air India official of misbehaving with him. The incident occurred yesterday when Reddy reached the Tirupati airport about 20 to 25 minutes before flight's departure time with some of his relatives to board a flight to Delhi.

Of the 1,200 acres marked as compulsory open spaces — either ‘recreation grounds’ (RGs) or ‘playgrounds’ (PGs) in BMC terminology — 45 acres have been occupied for over 20 years through private clubs run by the Sena and BJP’s leaders including MPs, MLAs and former MLAs, said Nirupam. “Whether it is Matoshree club in Jogeshwari or the Kamla Vihar club in Borivali, the Dahisar foundation premises or the Poisar gymkhana, these have all been literally grabbed by the Sena-BJP leaders,” said Nirupam.

The accused driver, Pradeep, took off with the vehicle when the guard in the van took a small break to relieve himself. When Pradeep did not return after 10 minutes, the guard tried calling him but he did not pick up, after which he proceeded to call the police.

Toddler who fell into borewell in Telangana 'dies'[/h]Medak (Telangana), Nov. 29 (ANI): The one-year-old boy, who fell into a 30-feet borewell here on Saturday, was declared dead on Sunday. The body has been fished out of the borewell after over 20 hours of rescue operation. Medak Superintensent of Police (S.P.) Badugula Sumathi told ANI, "The body was fished out of the borewell about 6 a.m on Sunday and sent to a hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead." Locals, however, said there were scratch marks on the body, adding that the boy might have died much earlier.

Continuing his criticism on the quashing of the NJAC Act, the finance minister said the doctrine of the basic structure, including elected government and Parliaments sovereignty, cannot be dismantled to save only independence of judiciary and favoured reconsideration of the verdict.

The highly complex procedure known as tracheal homograft has been carried out only once earlier in Belgium, though surgeons in Spain and the USA have tried different procedures like tissue engineering or synthetic trachea. The first trachea transplant was carried out by Dr. Paolo Macchiarini at a hospital in Spain on Claudia Castillo, through tissue engineering.

While some are unable to plan for the entrance examinations for further studies, others have job offers on hold owing to the delay in the results. Last October, two students from AC Patil College of Engineering had filed a writ petition in the Bombay High Court to ensure that they can appear for the final examination in the old syllabus after their ATKT (allowed to keep term) examinations.
