Dear VR ji,

A person recently told me that then advise I gave her worked!

Ok this poor thing had seen me a couple of years back when she was newly married(she is a Non Hindu) and as soon as she got married her MIL started nagging her to get pregnant as soon as possible and this girl started feeling tense.

Since they are all church going members I told her to tell her MIL lovingly that she will try her best and want her MIL to pray for her so that she will conceive soon and was confident that her MIL's prayers would certainly work.

So MIL was "caught" by this plea and could not nag her and had to pray for her DIL and also MIL would have been hoping that DIL gets pregnant as soon as possible to prove that her prayer works.

So this girl came back to me saying now she is a mother of a child and my advise managed to make her MIL less nagging now.

She asked me again "any more advice for me doc?"

I said if your MIL troubles you again for any other reason...buy her a lap top and get her a FaceBook account..and you create a secret account with another name and be friends with her and keep praising her so that she will be took hooked on FB and not bother you.

She left my room very happy!

I am the 3D xerox of my dad.
People who have never seen me in their lives even once
would ask whether I am Dr. Raman's daughter?
All the four sisters take after my dad and my brother takes after my mom.
So we four resemble a lot but I am THE 3D Xerox of my dad.

When I showed the photo of my parents posted in the forum gallery to my little grand daughter,
she took one look at my dad and said."He is my daddy!"

My elder son being a 3D xerox of me, resembles my dad quite a lot!

I told her, "No he is my daddy!" :nono:

So I argued with her for a while and was unable to convince her. Then I told her to take a look at the lady near the daddy and asked her if it was her mom.

No she was not. Only yhen she believed that it was my daddy and not her daddy.

Of course my son is much fairer edition of my daddy...

All my sons' friends admire my husband saying he must have been very handsome when he was young. in fact he looked like a movie hero of that time- 1970s.

They like my company, my jokes and my writings but when it comes to the appearance, it is always my husband who is adored.

When my son aged 5 then...I showed him my marriage pics and he got very upset.

He said you invited everyone except me! I don't see my pics anywhere!
