Think or sink!

Why not by a sweet little nickname, instead of the one given by his parents? :decision:

Dear RR ji,

You see nicknames cannot be used in front of others..so original name in birth certificate is the best...it can be used all the while in front of everyone.

How about sirji and madamji in front of others. delhi terminology for male and female. in front of others

cutie pie in private for man ,wife or child gender neutral,

just a suggestion.lol

Who will be the sweetie pie and who the cutie pie??? :decision:

The pretty one of the two is the cutie pie and

th better one of the two is the sweetie pie?

WHAT if the same person is both good looking and well behaved???

One of them wil be the Cutie Sweetie pie and the other plain pie!!! :(

In the Gounder language the little gilrls are called as AmmaNi.

So if there are more than one AmmaNi in the family

they will become Periya AmmaNi and Chinna AmmaNi.

In case of three, there will be one NadammiNi

( modifie form of Nadu + AmmaNi )

If ther are five, there will be Periya Ammani, NadamaaNi,

Chinna AmmaNi, Periya NadammNi and Chinna NadammiNi.

The best comparison will be the Higher middle class,

the lower middle class and the middle middle calss!!! :thumb:

Arranging / rearranging clothes in the Almarah is a back breaking business.

More so when it happens on the very next day to the one we had enjoyed/endured a rickety ride on the kahccha roads in an auto.

It seived us, winnowed us and thank God did not push us outside due to cenrtifugal force - since we were hanging on to the handles for our dear lives!

Delhi Sir,

We don't add 'Ji' in Tamil Nadu. It is just 'Sir' and 'Madam' when the spouse is referred to others!

Once a new voice asked me over phone, 'Sir irukkAngaLA?' for which I replied, 'ovvoru veettilEyum Sir iruppA!

ungaLukku Ram Sir-A vENum?' :D

The many moods of the SIR :yo:

The man-in-the-house- laid bare. :bump2:

When joyful he is a Sir, :hat:

When upset he becomes Sour; :(

When babbling he becomes a Bore :blah:

When angry he becomes a Bear! :fear:

Dear Renu!
Le us do out mite in promoting the use of Sanskrit words.
So your son Varun will be aptly renamed a Srushti I suppose !!!

Good one VR ji.

BTW VR ji I know a person who is 50 years old and calls her husband Machan.

She will even shout across a room calling for him "Machaaaaaaaaaaaan"

and he will respond "Ponjaaaaaaaaaaaaathi"

Dear Renu,
I saw a couple for Australia.
The man was short, well built and sported a permanent smile.
He called his wife Raajaathi every time in front of everyone.
She was even shorter and stockier than him.
Well "Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder" for sure.
"Love makes people appear pretty!" I am doubly sure!!! :)
