[h=3]Upset, but sure truth will prevail: Manmohan Singh on court summons[/h]New Delhi, March 11 (IANS) Former prime minister Manmohan Singh said on Wednesday he was "upset" by a court here summoning him in a case relating to the allocation of coal blocks, but was "sure truth will prevail." "Of course, I am upset but this is part of life. "I have always said I am open for legal scrutiny…I am sure the truth will prevail and I will get a chance to put forward my case with all the facts," Manmohan Singh said, adding he will discuss with his legal counsel on contesting the summons.

With the money to throw around, he can afford to take risks!

Billionaire teams up with NASA to mine the moon

Moon Express, a Mountain View, California-based company that's aiming to send the first commercial robotic spacecraft to the moon next year, just took another step closer toward that lofty goal. Earlier this year, it became the first company to successfully test a prototype of a lunar lander at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The success of this test-and a series of others that will take place later this year-paves the way for Moon Express to send its lander to the moon in 2016, said company co-founder and chairman Naveen Jain.

Dear VR ji,

The Chinna Veedus are not always younger and more beautiful than the first wife..I have seen some older and less beautiful become chinna veedus too.

The reason given by the man is 'she is my intellectual equal"LOL

Men will find a 1000 excuses to have an extra female in life..its like Sahasraranamam of excuses!LOL

Dear Renu,

Pachchik kiLi pola peNdaatti irunthtalum
ichaiyaith theerkka oru vaippaatti vendum.

Wife will maintain her dignity while the other woman
will DO anything for money and her future security.

So eventually the "vaippaatti avanai aatti vaippa!"

As for the intellect of a man who seeks it in other women
and ends up physically enticed and bound by her ...
the less said the better.

Dear Renu,
I think just as these men have two wives they must also have two doctors - one for each wife.

I wonder whether all the doctors will be as vigilant and careful as you are.

Some day or the other they may let the cat out and it will be followed by a fierce feline fight to the finish!!!

Similar or even more ferocious feline fights seems to have happened
in the Kovai Maanagaraatchi today. I wish I had taken a peek! :peep:

Cat fight is a real threat to me and treat for many.
The fish vendor launches a doublle pronged attack on me.
Either he will chop the fish to remove it head and bones right outside my kitchen window or he will sit in the scooter parking spot of none but my dear husband.
Cats will emerge from God knows where to fight for the fresh fishy titbits. I have to scream over the cats to be heard by the vendor ordering him to vecate the spot and leave us brahmins alone!

Most people just see...never ever observe! :(
Or else how can anyone ask a question like this?
"What have you been doing all morning?"
even after seeing that person doing
uncountable, overlapping chores, non-stop.

Am I turning into a Dr Jekyl and Ms Hyde?

In the day time I seem to be in good mood and almost "high" but by sunset I feel kind of moody!LOL

Aging I guess?

Dear Renu,
This happens to each and everyone of us.
Some of us are bright during the day and dull at night. (larks)
Some others are dull all day and become bright at night! :)
(Their other popular names are Nishaachar and Owls)
We are all made up of the three GunAs
Rajasa, Taamasa and Satva GuNAs.
They will be dominanting us by turns everyday.
Nothing related to aging I can assure you.
Even the new born babies exhibit similar traits.

In the Festival called the Taste of Chicago, a whole potato was sliced spirally into one big heap right in front of our eyes, fried without breaking the spiral and was delivered to us as a huge crisp and tangled garland of chips!!!

As a young girl I wondered at the word "vaazhai pazhak kalyaaNam!"
It was baalya vivaaham in which - the bride and groom were offered bananas as bribes - to make them behave well during their wedding ceremony!
I now see what it must have looked like !!!

HOW many of these children may know the
meaning/ purpose of their marriage???

Many N.R.I s do pretty much the same thing even in India! :(

[h=3]‘India’s Daughter’[/h] I have lived in America for 47 years, and I don’t ever recall seeing any positive coverage of India in the American media. It falsely insinuates that India is uniquely dangerous for women. The final falsehood, that India banned the film, yielded a billion-dollar publicity bonanza that the director and producer must have foreseen. In conclusion, the film’s key messages are false, as is the alleged ban in India, and the lies have absolutely no redeeming value.

  • Unlimited Movies for Rs. 1000 in Tamil Nadu Theatre

TUTICORIN: Desperate times call for desperate measures or so it would seem, going by a theatre's offer of a Rs 1,000 movie ticket scheme to lure back patrons who prefer going in for pirated versions of movies. The target is to sell 10,000 tickets. Expressing hope that the scheme would eradicate video piracy and attract more people to come to theatres, he said many liked to see movies on big screens rather than TVs.
