What is fun???

Some people think that eating is fun! :hungry:

Some others think sleeping is fun!!
Some others think hat watching TV is fun!!! :ranger:
The other shades of meaning of 'fun' are endless! :bump:

What is really fun anyway? :decision:

Dear Renu,
Based on our past karmas God gives us
good parents and good children or otherwise!
Is the truth more agreeably stated now? :)

Dear VR ji,

Based on our past Karma..we ourselves "choose" the Karmically compatible parents and children for ourselves.

God technically does not get involved in this.

I think we humans have always made God the ultimate judge in everything forgetting the fact that we are responsible for everything that happens in our lives.

HOW MUCH FREEDOM HAS BEEN GIVEN TO US?

This short poem discusses whether man is dependent on God or independent.

At times we feel that we have a number of choices and assume that we have plenty of independence. At other times we feel we are forced to go the way some invisible force is pushing us to go.

Let us go to our guru and get this concept cleared.

The Guru says,” We have as much as independence as a cow tied to a post. The length of the rope is the amount of independence we are given by God. But the location of the post is God’s choice.

So we depend on God as to where we are born and live but in that place we have limited independence to do or not do certain things.”

[h=1]சுயேச்சையா?[/h]
“நாம் நினைப்பது ஒன்று;
நமக்கு நடப்பது ஒன்று!
நம்மை ஆட்டிப்படைப்பது
நம்முடைய சுயேச்சையா?

இருக்குமிடம் தெரியாத
இறைவனின் இச்சையா?
குருநாதரிடம் கேட்போம்;

If there is one society built on 'Rights without any Responsibilities"

it is the Kids born and brought up USA (both locals and immigrants).

Their demands are endless and nothing makes them happy or satisfied.

They judge their parents as to whether they are good/ bad/ ugly!!!

They expect to the parents to obey them implicitly! :hail:

forgetting the fact that it is they have to obey their parents.

Now I understand why the 'Kids from USA' sounds like a degrading term! :(

Happiness is just a relative term and NOT an absolute thing in itself!
Also The more we get, the more we want - thus making the
state of happiness very hard to achieve and to maintain.

Off late some of my patients are acting weird.

One elderly Chinese lady told me to wear more revealing clothes so that patients will recover faster!LOL

Then one married Indian lady who has seen my husband before when we both attended a marriage told me that if she had a chance and if she were not married she would have married my husband cos she finds him handsome!LOL

Both these ladies made me laugh!

Dear Renu,

Your patients sure sound weird.

Whoever says that revealing dresses have healing power is :der:!!!

May be it will cause adrenaline to rush and gush through the system of men!

But the suggestion has come from an old Chinese woman! :)

As for men being handsome and ladies being pretty or gifted or talented...

it is always the husband of the another lady or the wife of another man!

The adage that 'Grass is greener on the other side of the fence' hold good!

No man is a hero for his valet or wife. :nono:

No wife is smart or pretty enough for the husband. :nono:

Familiarity does breed contempt!

I hear a few scum lords - whose true colors have been revealed during a family crisis - demanding for The Final Settlement from a very old, infirm and nearly blinded widow.
May GOD give them their due final settlement soon enough
without making them wait for it for very very long!!:amen:
Was the skinflint Shylock a real person or an imaginary character? :decision:
I bet he was very very real - made of flesh, bones and blood !

A crisis brings to light what each person is made up of..

a diamond, a pebble, a rock, a charcoal or merely slime!!!
Have you ever wondered why one lands up in a crisis situation.

Most are created by persons themselves to invite attention and sympathy.

Most like to have a persons shoulders to hang on to after a self created crisis.

Many succeed.

Some also end up with charcoa/slimel on their faces or get rocks thrown at them.lol
