Think or sink!

Have you ever wondered why one lands up in a crisis situation.

Most are created by persons themselves to invite attention and sympathy.

Most like to have a persons shoulders to hang on to after a self created crisis.

Many succeed.

Some also end up with charcoa/slimel on their faces or get rocks thrown at them.lol

Dear Mr. krish,
The crisis a taking about if of a different type.
It is like losing one's life partner of ~ 70 years and be at the mercy of the scheming, cunning, wicked, nephews who can squeeze blood out of a rock!

May be a personal experience. lol

The thrower knows it as well as - if not better - :brick:

than the person who gets it thrown on himself. :(
After all, just as the hand that gives out roses picks up its scent,

the hands that fling around filth and mud also pick up their scent! :yuck:

The sterling statement made by
a three year old shy-guy today! :thumb:

"We have to go out somewhere everyday! :car:
Otherwise we will become cranky kids!!"

P.S
We includes himself and his six year old sister! :)

Hello Mr. krish!
Long time no see! :)
If you fail to see or feel the chains,
you must be living in your imagination! :)
The chains are real and unbreakable!!! :ballchain:
How can I remain without reading your wise posts.

Gum ki andheri raat me

Dil ko na bekarar kar

subha zaroor aayegi subah ka intezar kar

These lyrics special from my side for you.

How is your health now?

You are right.

Some who have experienced painful exit, got thrown rocks and filth in their face come over here after a hiatus not to think but only stink.lol :yuck:

I can't wait for Eid...that is the only time of the year I take a long long break from work.
Have a good 10 days off from work!

Can't wait to do just do nothing!

Doing nothing is a luxury..by nothing I mean going shopping and going for movies..anything where I can just do nothing!

I love your optimistic outlook and real hard work!

I firmly believe that "What does not kill us makes us stronger"!!!

I am thrilled to see the Chakram beside your name.

It is not just any chakra but is now a Param Veer Chakra !!! :clap2:

Do keep up the good work sir!

There is a saying in Tamil which goes like thus

"Kanintha marame kalladi padum" meaning

most stones are thrown on that tree which is laden with fruits.

Dear Renu,
I bet my little grand daughter can teach you how to spend
ten days doing nothing and still feel unhappy!
Is it an enforced vacation as in the USA during July and December???

True Adi Sankara was neither bound nor liberated
but an ordinary mortal is always chained tight to a spot
with a little length of chain allowing for some movements. :(

The invisible chain is nothing but the desires influenced by vasanas. Desire for worldly materialistic things is the root cause for the bondage with the cycle of samsara ( here samsara does not mean wife) .Samsara is the repeated cycle of birth and death.( punravi jananam punaravi maranam). This is the teaching of Lord Krishna to Arjuna.

Dear Mr. S.S,
You are right sir!
But samsaaram (bondage) is due to the
samsaaram (having a wife / being a wife!) :(
Vaasana and ruchi also bind us by their previous influence
but they can also be used to liberate us rather than bind us.
At least three well qualified persons in the family circle have given up
their lucrative jobs and joined the Hare Krishna movement.
They are truly liberated and feel free due their vaasanaa and ruchi.

ருசியும், வாசனையும் உணவுக்கு மட்டுமல்ல;

நமக்கு பிடித்த பொருட்களில், நமக்கு ருசி;

RUCHI AND VAASANAA.

Tastes and smells are essential in our food items. Only then we can relish and enjoy what we eat. The taste and the smell of the food we eat linger on in our hands, mouth and mind for a long time, after we finish eating!

The mental recordings of all our experiences linger on in our minds forming our Ruchi (our likes ) and Vaasanaa
( our aptitudes). Our future births are decided by our Ruchi and Vaasanaa we have now.

We find that our children have an aptitude for music or for dancing or for writing or for acting. Some of these aptitudes are inexplicable – since there is no family history or connection to these arts!

The how and from where do they develop such tastes and likes?

It is because the mental recordings of their previous births follow them to their present births. We must develop good tastes and good aptitudes. They are useful not only in this birth but also in all our future births.

[h=1]உருவமும், பிறவியும்[/h]
ஒவ்வொரு பிறவியில், ஒவ்வொரு உருவம்;

THE FORMS WE ASSUME.

In every birth a man gets a new form, a new shape, a new name and a new intelligence!

What causes these differences and who decides the future birth of a person?

God decides the a person’s future birth, his shape, his form, his intelligence and his course of actions, depending on these very factors exhibited in his present life.

One who wishes to learn music will be born in a family of musicians. The one who wishes for self realization will be born in the family of yogis.

One who has spent his entire life in procuring food and eating it relentlessly will be born as an animal which will be fattened for the sake of its flesh.

A man who spent his entire life in seeking and enjoying carnal pleasures will be born as a shameless animal which can indulge in such activities all the time.

A cunning person will be born as a fox; the man who eats the left over and spoiled food will be reborn as a crow – ‘the scavenger of the sky’.

The person who steals what does not belong to him will be born as a snake in an ant hill. One who hoards his wealth by living the life of a miser will be reborn as a gene to guard his own buried treasures.

Only a person who lives his life as a human being should, is reborn as a human being. If he lives a life of righteousness and justice he will be placed among Gods.

We are born as human beings. Let us strive to reach the level of God in the next birth by living a pure and God-oriented-life now.

I had two extra bathi stands which I gave to the kids.

They too insisted in praying to God holding incense sticks.

The one I had already lighted was not enough for them.

Each of them lighted a stick and waved it in the air praying sincerely.

You could have felled me with a feather when I heard their prayer.

"There should be uninterrupted high speed Internet throughout the day!"
