Nobody can really eat / drink boiling hot stuff anyway!
It will scald the inside of the mouth and kill the taste buds too.
Small wonder the ingredients appear to remain mysterious!
Some like it hot! Some like it cold!
It is a personal preference I suppose.

http://listverse.com/2013/09/18/10-mythological-ways-to-become-immortal/

Seeking the secret of immortality from ten animals!
Every asura had the dream of becoming immortal.
But nobody really became immortal despite his penance and tapas.
Even Devas and Gods are mortal! How can man become immortal?
Where is the need to become immortal?
What will he do once he becomes an immortal?
In fact the only thing that makes life worth living is
the promise of death at the end of it.
It does not matter HOW LONG one lives!
But it matters HOW WELL one has lived!

Dear Doc,

Now you will know why VR, Renu and RR are kicking in our dear forum!!

I saw a giant turtle in a zoo once in USA . It was really huge and heavy.
It was served a salad of it choicest vegetables and leaves on a plate.
It had to move from where it was resting in order to reach the plate.
It crawled with a great difficulty. When it reached the salad plate,
it settled down on the ground with a huge sigh (real or imaginary).
It was like the bus in USA which brings down the steps to enable
the persons with walking sticks to hop on to be lifted to their level of their seats.
Animals also grow old/ suffer pains whether or not their joints creak and murmur.
They too lose their teeth, vision, hearing ability and muscle power.
Everything that has a beginning must also have an end - for its own good!

Thank God for the small mercies.... Power has returned and hence I could sit in front of my PC! :ranger:

Though we have an inverter to have a few lights during power cuts, we don't use the computer.

Hmmmmmmmm... I think normalcy will return in my sweet home by this evening! :D

comma is correct - I am sorry that I did not explain the clue very well. The question mark in a clue usually means (in american style crossword puzzles)
http://www.nytimes.com/2001/04/08/magazine/08PUZZLE.html
"One answer that always seems to trip solvers up is R-A-N-D-R, which was clued as "Leave time?" when it first appeared in a Times puzzle several years ago. Afterward lots of solvers called and wrote me saying that they couldn't find the word RANDR in their dictionaries, and where did I get it? I had to inform them gently that the answer was three words, R AND R, as in the time when one goes on leave.

A question mark at the end of a clue can mean several things. In the above clue for R AND R, it means "This clue is tricky! Be careful!" It can also indicate that the answer only loosely fits the clue. For example, "Cause for a head-slap?" (BONER). Making a boner may or may not be cause for slapping one's forehead. When question marks appear at the ends of the clues for all the long answers in a puzzle, usually the marks are signals for related puns."

The cross word puzzle appears to be a world by itself.
It needs a very fertile mind and linguistic skill to solve it.
Hats off to you for being a devoted cross-word puzzle-solver! :yo:
