Think or sink!

Dear VR ji,

Dont we still do the same?

I get up at 5 am just to have extra time to finish my stuff.

But since house comes with attached bathrooms to each room..so no need to wait for bathrooms.

That way Msian house designs are good..each room comes with an attached bathroom.

Dear Renu,
True most of us who hate to work under tension do this even now!
In the West people insist of separate bedrooms with attached bath.
People like me do not mind sleeping on the sofa or couch or sofa cum bed.
Then I will have to share the bathroom with some one.
But To avoid the rush, I get up early and finish my bath before the other person(s) get up!

Dear Sis,

I know very well that you are NOT a forlker! ;)

The word was coined by me, with the recent experience in our dear forum. :spy:

It is rather funny to note that the member whom I have kept in my 'ignore list',

takes the trouble of writing unsolicited replies, undaunted. :typing:

Dear VR ji,

I always wake up early before anyone...cos I dont want anyone to see a unkempt face!LOL

So I get up early...have bath and dress nicely and look presentable right away.

Some females walk around the house looking like a mess.

But males dont mind looking their worst at home!LOL

It is really funny to note that some of the members with such experience are so ignorant of rules of the Forum :frog:

It is a public Forum and those who wish to join in deliberations can do so without any solicition, discuss problems, have lively debate on issues, etc etc.
There is absolutely freedom of expression and thus there is no need to daunt any member. :attention:

Besides, everyone cannot be bullied especially by a spineless group. :ranger:

And there is a sincere Moderator who really acts judiciously on reporting.

It is better members realise all these and maintain ethics and decorum.

Dear VR ji,

Two days ago..when I was driving I didnt realize I hit a sharp pavement corner at the road...the impact caused my tyre to burst! The sound was kind of loud.

I got down and saw my tyre totally torn.

The very next moment a wonderful gentleman saw it and offered to help to change my tyre.

He was not a young man..could be around 60 yrs...he was struggling to change my tyre and I was getting scared for him in case he gets chest pain.

His wife too was there.

I couldn't thank him enough..I asked him over and over again if he was feeling alright after changing my tyre.

I then hugged his wife as a thank you gesture and I held his hands for sometime as a thank you gesture.

I havent prayed in a very long time but I prayed to God to take care of the kind man who was sweating and tired from handling my car tyre.

I was really worried for him.

Nice people still exists in this world...I met such a person.

Dear Raji,

I am not the stalker either in the forum or in real life - as everyone knows. :)

I probably foresaw what was to follow soon on the Aippasi PourNami day/ night!!

Some people will do anything and go to any extent JUST to get noticed.

Also Some people never really learn anything in life -

despite the loud and colourful verbal / visual / vocal blabbering! :tsk:

The unsolicited replies are both UNDAUNTED and UNWANTED!!! :hand:

Dear Renu,

I too want to be presentable early in the morning and do not wish to startle people looking like something the cat had brought in during the night after a terrible fight ! :)

I bet Raji Ram would look so good and presentable that anyone who sees is sure to ask, "Are you about to go out somewhere or did you just get back home ?"

I bet married people hardly look at each other when they are at home. So whether they look their best or worst hardly matters! :ohwell:

Dear Renu,
Truly the world still spins on its axis and the rains do not fail us only because of such kind hearted people in the world. If I were in your position, I would have hugged both of them and probably kissed their hands also as a gesture of thanks.
Thank God that Kindness and Goodness are NOT dead completely yet!

I now realize that I am dealing with few who tend to blow their own trumpets all the time.

They dislike divergence of views, but go to any extent to draw the attention of others.

And as such I don’t want to stoop down myself to that level.
:tsk:

I know there are few who make best use of their lung power safely

But not their…..
:tsk:

They believe in the convention that those who shout the loudest, will have the final say.

This loud mouth good hearts know all the strategy to outmatch anyone.
:hand:

There is no 'one-to-one' discussion here, but abundant blabbering ..

It is free-for-all.

Let them enjoy 'merry go round merry go round' in their own world of dream
all around.

I have seen some who write as though they are like Mother Teresa in exhibiting love and affection towards other human and give preachings of spreading kindness to all around.

But don’t fall prey to such writings. Always exercise one's discretion in judging such persons who talk more.
:nono:

Some here may have the habit of coming up ficitious stories just to make the thread interesting.
I know one member who often quote 'In my extended family there is one Casino mami and some thng like spencer mama, etc, etc

Since sky is the limit for such cooked up stories, one is free to imagine and try gain points. Besides, there is no system of verifying the veracity of such build up stories.

I am comfortable with this thread as I get more 'thumps down' which I love. :cheer2:

A Gorum in the Forum!

Trouble person poses as a Gorum,
In a tens of thousands strong Forum.

Disturbing the delicate members Aurum,
Shouting loudly about the decorum.

Will we need a corum or a quorum
To show how to belong to a forum?

Have you ever noticed that......

1.The person who shouts loudest has usually NOTHING to convey?

2. The person who pinches the child usually rocks the cradle-
so as not be discovered?

3. The person who bullies women without discretion
also wonders WHY they do not participate in the forum?

4. The person who has no friends is jealous of others with many friends?

5. The person who gets licked and kicked around says it is what he loves most in the whole wide world!

6. The person who talks of stooping to the level of the others - usually has to climb several 100 steps to reach the level of the others??

7. The blowing of a trumpet belongs to the rider on a horse and not to the people standing and walking around on their legs!

8. The lung power used in actual shouting usually corresponds visually to the size of the letters used in writing?

9. A loud mouth brands everyone else as a loud mouth just a shorty brands others as being short and a bully brands others as bullies?

10. A collection of unrelated smilies which convey NOTHING at all is the surest sign of a troubled and confused mind???

11. that one can cheer himself for getting negative marks and losing his ground pathetically???

12. that one can keep talking about the converging and diverging of views - when the views are no where to be seen???

A well wisher's suggestions to the grand old men of the forum.

Brush your teeth the first thing in the morning and the last thing at night - instead of rushing to the desktop/ laptop, wishing to catch with the latest posts.:suspicious:

During the day try to remain calm and peaceful thinking of God or
something else equally auspicious and relaxing - in order to live a long, healthy, happy and fruitful life! :thumb:

I solidly believe that we learn MORE about a person

JUST by letting him talk than by asking 100 questions!

SO NOW it is a public secret who the sleepless, red-eyed,

very disturbed, confused, angry and fuming person is...

distributing and strewing the rebuffs he has received!

இன்னதென்று அறிகிலர் இவர் தாம் செய்வதை! :tsk:

மன்னித்து மறந்து விடுங்கள் இவர் செயல்களை !!

14. One who stays awake till it is the time of Nishacaras JUST to give a 'thumb down'

has fallen so low down and deep into the womb of the earth that even God can't help him!

How a bathroom break could have doomed Flight MH370

If the captain hadn’t needed a bathroom break, there might be no mystery about Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370. That’s the theory of aviation journalist Christine Negroni in “The Crash Detectives,” a new book about the investigations of notable air disasters. The Boeing 777 took off from Kuala Lumpur at 12:42 a.m. March 8, 2014, with 227 passengers and 12 crew - including two men in the cockpit, Capt. Zaharie Ahmad Shah and First Officer Fariq Abdul Hamid. About 25 minutes later, Zaharie radioed controllers that the flight was “maintaining flight level 350.” The jumbo jet was headed northeast at 35,000 feet over the South China Sea, speeding toward Beijing. All seemed well. Negroni theorizes that

Dear Renu,
Nice people exist and appear just at the time to help good people! They are just like God-sent :angel:s.

When Ram and I went to Kalimpong from Bagdogra airport by taxi, it was getting dark and the uphill roads were narrow.

The car was Maruti 800 and in a sharp turn, the front and back wheels on the left went down into a trench, made to drain

rain water during monsoon. We were stuck right away and could not move. Suddenly two huge built men appeared from

nowhere - it seemed so because there was no one walking on those roads! A chill went down my spine, since I thought they

may be robbers! But, they smiled at us and spoke in Hindi. They said they
can move the car easily and wanted only Ram to

get down. Within a few seconds, they lifted the car (with me inside  ) and kept it safely on the road. Before Ram could take

out some money to give them for the timely help, they left the place wishing us a safe trip uphill.

It was an amazing experience. :)

Dear RR ji and VR ji,

I am supposed to download some research papers and read it before attempting to answer 10 questions per paper for some points system we have.

But its so bloody boring to read research papers...so today I decided to answer the questions without reading the papers..and boy I was lucky! I attempted 6 papers and got almost all right!LOL

Actually some of it I really had no idea...so I thought use common sense and it seemed to work!LOL
