பழிக்குப் பழி?


முதுமையில் பெற்றோரைத் துறந்துவிடும்,
மக்களை எண்ணி நான் வியந்தது உண்டு!
எப்படி முடிகின்றது ஈவு இரக்கமின்றி,
இப்படி எல்லாம் செய்வதற்கு என்று!

ஒரு நாள் மனத்தில் பொறி தட்டியது;
ஒரு வகைப் பழி வாங்குதலோ இதுவும்,
சிறு வயதில் தன்னைத் தனியே விட்டுப்
பொருள் ஈட்டச் சென்ற பெற்றோர்களை?

“சிறியோர் காப்பகத்தில் விட்டுச் சென்றோரை,
முதியோர் காப்பகத்தில் விட்டால் என்ன தவறு?
பொருள் கருதியே அவர்கள் அதைச் செய்தனர்,
பொருள் கருதியே நாமும் அதைச் செய்வோமே!”

இளமையில் வறுமையும், வளமற்ற வாழ்வும்,
முதுமையில் தனிமையும், ஜனமற்ற வாழ்வும்,
இரண்டுமே மிகப் பெரிய தண்டனைகளே,
இவ்வுலகில் வாழும் மனிதர்களுக்கு.

பொருள் இல்லார்க்கு இவ்வுலகம் இல்லை;
அருள் இல்லார்க்கு எவ்வுலகமும் இல்லை!
பொருளும் வேண்டும், அருளும் வேண்டும்;
பொருளும் வேண்டும், குடும்பமும் வேண்டும்!

குடும்பத்துக்கு என்றும், மற்றும் தன் இனிய
குழந்தைகளுக்கு என்றும், தன் நேரத்தை
இனிமையாகப் பகிர்ந்து அளித்து வந்தால்,
இனிமை ஆகிவிடும் நமது வாழ்க்கையே.

ஒரு கண் போலக் குடும்பத்தையும் மற்றும்,
ஒரு கண் போலப் பணிகளையும் பாவித்தால்
இளமையில் வறுமையும் வரவே வராது;
முதுமையில் தனிமையும் வரவே வராது.

வாழ்க வளமுடன்,
 விசாலாக்ஷி ரமணி.

A REVENGE?

I have always felt surprised and hurt when I see the aged parents forsaken by their children. How on earth can they be so cruel?

Was this a kind of revenge by the children on their parents – who had left them in the day care, in order to work and earn more money?

The same reason is valid now too. Both the spouses have to go out to earn money and the aged parents are unnecessary responsibilities!

The worst punishments in the word are poverty in one’s youth and loneliness in one’s old age.

To live a decent life man needs money. But without a trace of humanity in him, a man is no more a human! We need the money and the family i.e the man-power.

So if we work out a successful formula and devote time both for the family and for the career, neither of them will suffer nor feel neglected.

When neither of these are neglected, we will never lack money in our youth nor man-power in old age!

I beg to differ. All the parents who strive hard to bring up the children are NOT taken care of in their old age. :nono:

In a recent T V show, it was pathetic to see some super seniors in a home for the poor people say that they

own coconut groves and lands but and still sent out of their house, after being fleeced of all their assets. :sad:

May be their past Bad karma outweigh the present Good karmas! :tsk:
 
“The joy of motherhood”

“The joy of motherhood” as defined by my father is

“when the children go to sleep or take A nap”

But since the children never take a nap together

and one always wakes up as the other starts a nap

the corrected definition should become

“when all the children take a nap at the same time!!! :)

In the Happy Nap Land…

Enter child number one… exist child number two!!!
 
Reproduce or Retire!!!

It is like the worker ants and bees which have no time

for merry making but have to work work and work

to feed the whole ant colony!

And the full time job of king and queen is

producing eggs all day long!

If they stop the production they will be devoured

by their loyal subjects and replaced by a new king and queen.

Dear VR ji,

We do not need strength or size to "tame" a male.

All we need is to be gentle...and even the strongest male will succumb.

You fight fire with water and not with fire!LOL

It is the achievement that matters.

While Manmohan Singh was P.M. we had a pwerful lady behind him. But what was her contribution for women empowerment...???

In Tami Nadu JJ was Chief Minister for five terms and now sixth and what was her contribution for women empowerment in TN.?

I think women are against women.

In fact men can relax and watch.

Do we not watch குழாயடி சண்டை

Some have more time to fight but not to think and are in fact sinking.......LOL

I will appreciate if my two questions are properly answered.

Touching other points may result in more........

And to be powerful, size is not important..
