Unequal genders?

After that day when ever my husband saw any empty parking spot in front of our car and even if it did not have a divider..I would still get some reminding me about the incident stares from him even after 10 years after that incident.
After that I do no dare make any decision or suggestion!LOL
Lesson learnt: Never mess with a man and his car!

Renuka,

You did not see the divider and so got your car stuck there. You did not do it like the sardar of this joke (disclaimer the sardar here is just a name used and has nothing to do with sardarji's among whom I have some of my best friends)

The sardar was driving his new bike in the night. He saw a blinding light coming from the opposite direction. He drove fast to the right of that light. He was hit hard by a car with just one headlight functional, and thrown to the kerb and it was a long stay in the hospital. Next time he took the same bike and was driving fast in the night. This time too he saw a blinding light coming in the opposite direction. He was wiser this time and drove to the left of that light. Lo. He was again hit and thrown off. Again he was in the hospital for long. He returned and drove the bike again. Again as bad luck would have it he was driving in the night. He saw two bright lights blinding him coming from the opposite direction. He drove in between the two and got hit again. Poor guy. He is still wondering what is happening on the roads.

Dear Sir,

This has happened in real life. My dad got SOS call from our neighbour mudhaliyAr mAmA, who had just met with an accident on

his way back home from Pollachi. Finding two bright lights coming towards him at night, he drove his scooter in between those

lights, thinking them to be the head lights of two different motorbikes! Since that lorry was coming only at a snail speed, he

was saved!

The burden of the OP was why the event was reported like that. Renukaji has been honest so also a few others. Well it was not the intention to bring the unknown to book. It is none of our business too. The Coimbatore madam was also a shade right. In this site the subject has been discussed before. Let us suppose there are at least 20% husbands who are demons to wife. Maybe less than 1% of women cause husbands' death. What about say 79% lambs? If journalists are unbiased, Society is unbiased and the law visits every sinner or a wrong doer, would it not become an ideal society, an ideal civilization. If people misread the post and misunderstood to be biased against or in favour of the genders, it will be dubious domain.

Dear Iyya Sir,

I have met many dominating wives and the 'lamb' husbands.

Also noticed that many successful marriages have untold sad stories behind!! :tsk:

Very rare when neither husband nor wife is dominating. The problem today is neither is understanding of the other. Actually I feel even if one of them is wise, the relationship can be strong. If both are it is indeed blissful.

Dear Sravna Sir,

If both husband and wife have the 'give and take' policy, the wedded life is a bliss!

If one tries to dominate and the other is submissive, the wedded life is a success!

If both try to dominate, the result is 'ego clash' and the wedded life is miserable!

Dear RR Madam,

In the first case of give and take is an ideal life...Not sure how many are blessed with this...If it becomes continuous give and take it become a mathematical equation..How much I gave must be equal to how much I take...Rather are you ready to sacrifice something for your spouse? Do you understand each other completely and have an open dialogue? Do you share your feelings in toto without any concealment!

In the second case of one person being dominating, the other person is not actually submissive...It is making those small adjustments to satisfy the other..But the person who seems to be submissive is being taken care of and his or her needs met in marriage...That's why the person is adjusting not submissive...In case the person does not agree mentally but is forced to agree as he/she does not have an alternative, then marriage is on thin ice; the thread is weak and can break at any moment

In the last case where both try to dominate, the power of thinking gets lost..It is plain play of raw emotions...Only heart burn remains..It creates ill will between both..It may lead to revenge and rancor!

the discussion can go on, like marriages go on endlessly

for ages mary had a little lamb, sometimes the lamb is hairy, sometimes bald, sometimes short and sometimes muscular, but they remain to be little lambs, one hops from mother to wife, to daughter, but mary and the lamb remains if peace is to prevail,

so it all starts off a Jack and jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water, jack refused to pick the pail and hell hath no fury thereafter

so it could be jack and jill went up the hill to produce a little daughter, god knows what happened right up there, but jack has never been the same therafter

it could be various versions of it but the consequences are always the same :)))
