in my childhood ada tradhaman/sakka pradhaman on vishu day....after vishu kani....ada pradaman/sakka pradhaman must....
i tasted ambalapusha/guruvayur sri krishna temple paal payasam....yummy yummy....even delhi sri krishna temple paal paayasam
too tasty....

நகர் வலம் நன்கு முடித்த பின்பு, திருச்சூர்
நகர் நோக்கிப் பயணத்தை ஆரம்பித்தோம்!
மாலை வேளையில் இனிய இல்லம் வந்து,
வேலைகள் அடுப்படியில் முடித்து, நாங்கள்
இனிய இரவு சொல்லி, நித்திரா தேவியை
இனிதே நாடினோம், நல்ல உறக்கத்திற்கு!
மறுநாள் அதிகாலை மீண்டும் பயணம்; என்
அருமை அன்னை, மற்றும் சகோதரி காண!
விருந்தும் மருந்தும் மூன்று நாள், அல்லவா?
இருந்தேன் அவர்களுடன், மூன்றே நாட்கள்!
எத்தனை வயது ஆனாலும், அன்னை, நமக்கு
அத்தனை வயது ஆனதே என்று எண்ணாது,
சிறு குழந்தைபோலத்தான் பாவிப்பார்; அந்தச்
சிறு அன்புத் தொல்லைகளையும் ரசித்தேன்!
என் பிறந்த நாள் வரும் இரு மாதங்கள் முன்,
தன் இனிய பரிசை எனக்களித்து, மகிழ்ந்தார்!
ஆனந்தமாய் ஆறு நாட்கள் ஓடிவிட, மீண்டும்
ஆனந்தமாய் வரவேண்டும் என் இல்லத்திற்கு!
அதே ஓட்டுனரே அன்று வந்தாரோ? மீண்டும்
அதே 'சல்லடை ஆட்ட' ரயில் பயணமேதான்!
சங்கராபரணம் சாஸ்திரி, Climax காட்சியிலே,
சங்கீதத்தின் இடையில் இருமுவது போலவே,
ஒரு சிறுமி இரும, அவள் தாய் Fan - ஐ நிறுத்த,
சிறுமி இருமலைத் தொடர, நள்ளிரவில் நான்
மின் விசிறியை மீண்டும் போட, காற்று வீசிட,
தன் நிலை மறந்து உறங்கினாள் அந்தச் சிறுமி!
சிங்காரச் சென்னையை அடைந்தேன், காலை;
பாங்காகத் தொடரவேண்டும், Routine வேலை!
திருமண வைபவத்தால் வந்தது இப் பயணம்;
மறுபடியும் எதிர்பார்ப்பேன், அடுத்த பயணம்!
உலகம் உய்ய வேண்டும்,

என்னுடன் பயணித்தீர்கள்!
என் பயண அனுபவங்களை எழுதும்போது,
என்னுடன் பயணித்ததாகத் தோன்றியதாக,
மனம் கனிந்த பாராட்டுக்களைப் பெற்றேன்!
மன நிறைவால் மகிழ்ந்தேன்! என்னுடைய
வெளி நாட்டுப் பயணங்களை எழுதும்போது,
வெளி நாட்டு நண்பர்கள், தம் கருத்துக்களை
இடையிடையே அளித்து ஊக்குவித்ததும்,
தடையின்றிக் கவிதைகள் தர வைத்ததும்,
இனிக்கும் நல்ல நினைவுகளாக என் மனம்,
இனிதே எண்ணி இருக்கும், என்றென்றும்!
இந்திய, வெளிநாட்டு நண்பர்களுக்கு, என்
சிந்தையில் என்றும் இடமும் இருக்கும்!
