Why these sparklers???

Because it is the post # 1001 ! :)

# 20. Believe it or not!

If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.

If you thought it worthwhile and tried, you may use
the hot coffee to soothe your hoarse throat. :)

Human beings only cry because of feelings, despite the fact that there are
no pain receptors in the brain. Further, human being has an added advantage
of emotional intelligence to evaluate the emotion besides the ability to perceive
and control.

# 21. Believe it or not!

During the first month of life, the number of connections or

synapses, dramatically increases from 50 trillion to 1 quadrillion.

If an infant's body grew at a comparable rate, his weight would

increase from 8.5 pounds at birth to 170 pounds at one month old.

The average life of a taste bud is 10 days.

Margarine is just ONE MOLECULE away from PLASTIC.

Our bodies contain enough water to fill a ten-gallon tank.

We have enough carbon to manufacture 900 pencils.

# 23. Believe it or not!

Fingernails are one of the human body's strongest and strangest components. They contain keratin, which is also found in rhino horns, which refuses to erode after death.

# 24. Believe it or not!

Babies are not fully naked in the womb. In fact, their entire bodies are usually covered in a thin layer of dark hair by the end of the fifth month of pregnancy, which disappear when the baby is born.

# 25. Believe it or not!

People blink once every four seconds. That's because the eyelashes act as windscreen wipers, keeping dust and grime from getting into the eye itself.

Humans are one of the only mammals who are unable to 'turn' their ears in order to hear approaching predators.

But Stan Laurel could flap and wriggle his ears quite well!!!

Some of us humans can actually move our ears backwards using the Platysma muscle.
So the ears move back easily but not flap or wriggle.
I realized I was able to do this as a kid when I wanted to hear what someone was saying I would actually move my ears back.
Many people can do this.

I never knew people could actually pull their ears back!!! :ear:

And that your were one of them! :)

An embryo is genderless for the first 6-8 weeks of pregnancy.

Only after that the body decides whether the baby will be

a boy or girl through dominant hormones that emerge.

There are two school of thoughts about this;

1st... as you rightly mentioned where its neither male nor female.

2nd... where it says that every embryo begins life with a proto-female brain and testosterone masculinizes the brain and genitals of those embryo genetically marked to be male(taken fromThe Human Embryo's Sex Differentiation: Why Do Men Have Nipples? A Book Review by Louis Berman, Ph.D.)

Anyway in both school of thoughts its evident that no one is Purusha upon conception and everyone is Prakirti.
The medical theory matches with Philosophy here where there is Only One Purusha and rest are Prakirti.

I wouldn't like to argue who is superior. But then there are certain
laid down proverbs since ancient times.

Child birth is a special occasion in one's life time.
Only after a man says something, there begins a new argument (between woman and man)
A woman, after all, has the last word in any argument

Generally, a woman worries about her future until she gets a husband
while a man never worries about the future at all until he gets his wife.

The big toe is actually one of the most important elements within the

body, as it balances the skeleton and enables the owner to move

forward when walking without it, we would simply fall over.

I am reminded of my late friend who had both her big toes removed

one after another! How did she manage to walk???
:tsk:

The very first object of everyone is to seek happiness in life. In the process,
but then, the human behaviour or manners/actions is what a person actually does,
it does not really mean as to what he thinks, feels or believes in the course
of his acts.

Well an arrow at Lord Krishna's toe took His "life" away.
