My dreams are seldom romantic but most of the while quite action filled or funny.

You know I once had a real funny dream.

I dreamt that I was driving a car and behind me were many ghosts chasing the car.
They looked real scary with fangs and ugly faces.
They finally overtook my car and I had to stop.

So in my dream I was reciting the Gayatri Mantra non stop so that the ghosts will go away.

One of two of the ghost started screeching and disappeared but one ghost really liked the Gayatri Mantra and transformed into a good looking man and thanked me and he started reciting the Mantra himself.

So you see my dreams can get weird.

Scary Tale..? It would have been better if the Ghost started driving the car ...pushing you out.. !!..See the effect of Gayathri Manthra..If every men recite Gayathri Manthra there will be lot of GOOD looking Men..!!! Poor cosmetic sellers for MEN...!!

make men out of ghosts and beasts;
the men will also become handsome;
they will also become pious! How nice!!! :happy:

I KNEW you will feel happy to know the statistics of this blog!
I get about 100 comments a day now.
I am unable to reply to all of them.
They see my name in yahoo news (?)

I don't even know where and how I figure in there.

This morning I had a dream as if I am standing in front of Goddess Bala Tripurasundari
along with other Devotees. One of the devotees, to my surprise, asked me to chant
the Stotram about Bala Tripurasundari, when there were so many people. I also started
chanting Sri Bala Tripurasundari Stuthi and Sri Bala Manthra Mathruka Sthavam
and in the process, I woke up and saw looking for Her Darshan. Even now, I am
taken aback on this incident.

Sri Balatripurasundaryai Namaha. Om Aim Kleem Sowm Balambikayai Namaha.

I had been to the temple at Nemili Sri Bala Peetam and attended the

The largest internal organ is the small intestine.

A real misnomer to say the least! :)

Despite being called the smaller of the two intestines, our small

intestine is actually four times as long as we are tall!!

If it weren’t looped back and forth upon itself like noodles,

it wouldn’t fit inside the abdominal cavity.

Hello VR Mam ,you made me go to my anatomy and physiology classes(my favorite) .In average ,a adult male has 6.9mts ,ie ,22 feet -6 inches and female has 7.1meters ,ie-23.feet -4 inches. As its main function is to absorb the nutrients ,minerals found in our food.:rolleyes:

since the small intestine take out the juice of the substance we consume which is small quantity and the rest sakkai large is sent to perunkutal hence that name . am i correct ?

Hello Bala Sir , thanks a lot ,thank you so much sir ,I still remember one of my patient ,who accompanied the other patient for surgical extraction of her wisdom tooth.,said since her husband is out of station ,being her neighbour she called me ,I had no idea of this program on part of conversation she handed over this very valuable framed picture of BALA s photo,I was very much moved ,since in my mom s place she chant lathia sahasranamam one lakh time ,esp,during navarathri.days.( In my moms place we had ie - we are 5 cousins sisters ,who were been named from Lalitha saharsanamam ).later my patient told me to offer chocolates which is her special prasadam.thanks once again.

its usual path and not come down the other way due to gravity!!!
Those who spend a lot of time doing Siarasaasanaa can now feel relaxed!

Reading the third line, I think you did sirasassana!

I think sirasassana must be helpful in avoiding cerebral ischemia. More over, if at all we sleep flat for 8 hours, we are standing or sitting or walking at other items. In between we send down many liquids, semi-solids and solids. Tonnes of food go down the system and hence the hanging organs might have loosened or curved downwards. A regular sirasassanam might arrest this, if not restore them.
 
I knew one mama who was as comfortable
standing on his head as on his feet! :clap2:

I was a little girl then and I used to wonder
and shudder at the thought as to what will happen
if the food reversed its path??? :fear:

The human heart creates enough pressure to squirt blood to a height of

30 feet. Small wonder that we can feel our heartbeat so easily.

Pumping blood through our body quickly and efficiently takes

quite a bit of pressure resulting in the strong contractions of the heart

and the thick walls of the ventricles which push blood to the body.
