HELLO VR Mam ,its my pleasure to share with you all ,BTW,knowledge is for sharing, and also we come to know good ,useful information.I just luv your attitude ,spirit and keen towards the work you get indulge.:clap2:
dear VR!ref 1311.
Most hair trimmings and changes in attire happen because of practical problems. Today I visited a distant relative on my husband who is in her 90s.
She has very little hair and she was wearing maxi.
She could hardly stand unsupported! :crutch:
How can she wear the underskirt and the saree over that???
I myself find my left shoulder troublesome and I am unable to lift it to tie up my hair. Who knows I may give to my dear D.I.L's offer and get my hair cut short for easy maintenance! :mullet: ???
dear VR!
we are worried about the trouble using single hand even though the other hand can be used partially. That made me to wonder about my mother who was using only one hand from the very young age. she could not use her right hand becuase of polio.she has not failed in any of her daily duties right from cooking .child care ,cutting vegitables (even keerai ),taking water from well, apart from wearing 9 yards sari and doing hair dressing for herself and children.she died at the age of 90.till then she has not switched to maxi.hair cut etc.she was a role model to lift our spirit.

Hello VR Mam ,BALU SIR, regarding hair trimming ,there are so many different thoughts, I feel we can reason it out for the purpose of it.as mam stated ,1.due to age factor, due to any medical conditions ,here both goes for maintenance basics either by the person itself or by assistance/care taker.2.due to hormonal problems -like dandruff ,women with thyroid imbalance ,PCOS,(poly cystic ovary syndrome )-where the hair becomes brittle ,thinning, scanty ,so it indirectly becomes cosmetic purpose.3. purely cosmetic purpose -here its on the beholders choice, ones own will, wish .but flat ironong ,hot curls ,chemical colouring ,hair straighting., bleaching.all these conditions generally disturb the protein content keratin and its structures. so these results are not permant and has harmful effect on hair ,scalp. I still remember my sweet grand ma late Sarojini,(we call her as ji patti) who was very stubbron ,firm for hair cut, parlours. as I was brought up in joint family ,my cousin was very fond of hair cut ,so she will be sure to take all fancy actions ,so that patti will not be aware ,but myself ,my bro(her brother ,my cousin) will plan so will be caught in red-handed ,she will tie a big knot with colour band & sit near patti as we will have our coffee time together,at that time we will exhibit our master plan ,I will go back side ,just as though accidentally tap her knot ,then her very short cut will become prompt to our grand ma.then begins the Arachani for her,we all will enjoy that moments.those fine moments thanks for this nostalgic feel share. Mam I love the actoress SOWKAR JANAKI s hair at present.
# 73. Believe it or not.
We could remove a large part of our internal organs and still survive.
The human body may appear fragile but it’s possible to survive even
with the removal of the stomach, the spleen, 75 percent of the liver,
80 percent of the intestines, one kidney, one lung, and virtually every
organ from the pelvic and groin area.
The person will not feel on top of the world for sure
but he/she will live on! We come with inbuilt spare parts.
Dear VR Ji,
It is actually no surprise cos many also walk around without a Brain!!LOL
dear balu sir !It appears that in Vishnu Puranam, there is a mention about combing the hair
by the girls and getting tied on two sides (two Jadai) instead of one, instead
of separating the hair at the middle of head (Neir Vahidu), drawing a slanting
line on the side. Besides cutting the hair to get trimmed in the Saloon is not
advisable as regards girls or women. Either women or girls, should not enter
the house after taking bath with water dropping on the floor from the hair.
Will any one like this, these days. Further, there appears to be a mention that
such things will happen in Kaliyuga.

dear madam !Malarum ninaivugal...
A know a girl who got married recently and had such a thick hair that I needed both my hand to hold it properly. The moment she landed in USA with her husband, the first thing she did was to bob her hair. The saloon / parlor must have sold her long thick hair for a fortune to the wig makers!!!
