hee!!! gee!!!!

(apologies in advance for the msg not being an idiom or a proverb

True! It is neither a proverb nor AN IDIOM

but it is a smart quote by Mr /Mrs. Anonymous about

the only animal which can never be trained or tamed-

since it boasts of having six senses...namely MAN!

Since purity and chastity of the threads have become

an eyesore to the impossible and incorrigible people,

a small wanton mix up does not require an apology!

Hee! Gee!! :welcome: Zee!!! :)

True life hubby and wife (!)

M

M

Your list is made by Mother Nature

(since they are MADE that way)

and my list is made by Man's Nature

(since he makes it that way using his

superior and non-existing intelligence).

Just I want to share an information about this KOLLU[கொள்ளு]...

Couple of months back one my friend refered an Ayurvedhic Doctor in Mysore for the treatment of Back pain[chronic]& spondylitis for my Better half..This doctor suggested a pillow filled with Kollu for use instead of regular pillow and there is remarkable improvement within two months..I don't know the medicinal property of this Kollu ...Sbusequently I learned from my Sambanthi that he too was advised to use this pillow by the same doctor and after two months he is totally releived of from the hip joint pain..Only difference he was advised to use this pillow under his lower back and sleep..

dear Mr. AK47,

Long time... no see! :)

Thank you for the valuable information to the world riddled with every kind of joint pain.

I just have three honest and simple doubts.

1. Do we have to replace the kollu in the pillow later?

2. If so, after how many hours / days / months / years of use?

3. if we sleep on a quilt made of kollu will all the body aches vanish?

Can you please get in touch with the doctor who prescribed this effective
treatment and let us all know the answers?

I am sure the entire forum will remain indebted to you and the unknown good doctor! :)

Dear TVK Sir,

Good that your message had some connection with horse.... :becky:

The doctor may be upset, if you let the secret out to all our dear (joint pained) members!

P.S: Since humans are considered as social animals, one note about 'rAja pArvai' = stiff neck.

Persons with stiff neck are advised to keep one 'AzhAkku', a measure for grains, under the neck

while lying down sideways, to get relief. :thumb:

O.K. now to the Questions..

1. So for [ just two months] that occasion not arised.. I will consult with him in my next visit by second or third week of December..

2. My Sambanthi has sent his pillow to to us as spare... informing he no longer needed.. That means we may have to use till we are satisfied..

3.I intend asking this doctor whether we can prepare a bed with Kollu filled up so that we may get some sort of body massage.. I tried with this pillow couple weeks back when I had some sort of strained ligament in my neck.. I have experienced some sort of massaging feeling though not exactly ..In my opinion the hard granules indeed give some relief by way its moving adjustements with the body/neck movement while sleeping..

Eventhough I have the cord of this Doctor...I will get it translated soon & post it here..

Dear Mr. AK47,

Sorry to admit that I am not entering into any threads other than mine since November 2012.

Not just because I lack time but I want to keep my mental peace in tact.

My yoga and spiritual guruji had advised us that either we must remove the disturbing elements

from our sight or we must move away from them.

The second one is much more easier than the first.

The super comfort beds - which practically lets us get buried in them - cause the maximum body

aches. So the firm ones and the ones which adjust to our body contours must reduce the pain.

My husband suffers from chronic neck pain. Can you please tell me the specification of the KoLLu

pillow - the length and breadth in inches as well the weight of the pillow to get an idea

of how much KoLLu should be packed in it.

I am sure you will pass on the rest of the info as soon as you get them.

Thanks in advance.

Have a great day sir! :)
