How a life journey should be

Mam, If any award is to be given you deserve it very much. Since your post is blank,
I take the privilege to post the following on the above title:

Sometimes, a doubt arises in us as to where we are destined to. No doubt Life is a Journey
with many obstacles and happiness mixed intertwined. But at times we get a doubt, as to
which one to choose, i.e. priority to make a right choice without blemishes. But then once
we understand our options and are clear in our mind, we would be able to proceed to the
right path as the quality of journey merits as much as our destination. Success does not
happen by accident or incidentally

A hare and a tortoise appear for IITJEE.

The hare score 95% and the tortoise scores only 84%

But the hare does not get admission in IIT while the tortoise does!

WHY???

dear Sir,
I am already getting awards for WHAT I write. So there is no need for you to give me awards for WHAT I have not written.
In future please paste your posts under the thread where they belong.
Lunar eclipse has migrated to potato chips and your observation on life have appeared in Adam to Zeus- to name just a few!
Quotable Quotes is ONLY for good quotations by great thinkers and teachers.

I only want to give my humble appreciations for what you have been
posting all these days and not for a blank post. Since it was blank,
I didn't want to leave it just like that. Hence I posted a topic,
though it may not belong to that thread. Let me restrict it hereinafter.

# 26. ZEUS.

Cronus sired several children Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades and Poseidon by Rhea, but swallowed them all as soon as they were born.

He had learned that he was destined to be overcome by his own son the way he had overthrown his own father—an oracle that Zeus was to hear and avert.

When Zeus was about to be born, Rhea sought Gaia to devise a plan to save him, so that Cronus would get his retribution for his acts against his own children.

Rhea gave birth to Zeus in Crete, handing Cronus a rock wrapped in swaddling clothes, which he promptly swallowed. After reaching manhood, Zeus forced Cronus to disgorge first the stone and then his siblings in reverse order of swallowing.

Then Zeus released the brothers of Cronus, the from their dungeon killing their guard.
As a token of their appreciation, Zeus received the thunder and the thunderbolt.

Together, Zeus and his brothers and sisters, along with the brothers of Cronus, overthrew Cronus and the other Titans, in the combat.

The defeated Titans were then cast into a shadowy underworld region known as Tartarus. Atlas, one of the titans that fought against Zeus, was punished by having to hold up the sky.

After the battle with the Titans, Zeus shared the world with his elder brothers by drawing lots. Zeus got the sky and air, Poseidon the waters, and Hades the world of the dead (the underworld).

The ancient Earth could not be claimed. She was left to all the three brothers - each according to their capabilities.
This explains why Poseidon was the "earth-shaker" (the god of earthquakes) and Hades claimed the humans that died.

Dear friends,

The series Adam to Zeus can be completed with this post. However I wish to present ten persons whom I admire for the courage. They had overcame their physical challenges to make a name and earn fame in their selected fields of activities.

Since these have been already posted and blogged in another thread, I WILL NOT be blogging these again.
So please continue to read from the thread itself.

This will be followed by ten real persons who have become immortal by becoming the models on whom successful fictional characters have been built .

I am on the look out for weird kings and people who did bizarre things wantonly or otherwise.

Happy reading!
:pray2:
