Post #57 explains it. Mostly oldies do it, except that it does not necessarily have to be older persons. Younger ones with lots of money, but with unresponsive spouses, can do it too. It is like keeping the cake and eat it too. There is also greater secrecy.

Incidentally, for gender equality, one needs to coin a new word equivalent to Macho (M for male?) –
how about Facho?

So my unproven theory was right after all!LOL
I had long back believed that a female is no different from a male when it comes to desire and sex and monogamy is just a cultural conditioning and not an inbuilt phenomenon.
It is men who think that females are into emotions, love and faithfulness so that it feeds the male ego.
Men only want to believe what makes them feel good and enough womanizers too think that a girl does not forget her first love or the first person who had sex with her.
This is not really the case at all.
Many women have had boyfriends before marriage and married someone else and the memory of the ex boyfriend is deleted from her mind and she concentrates on her husband.
Frankly females are less emotional than males when it comes to love and affairs..it is a male that is actually more emotional cause he needs a female to boost his ego but a female does not need a male to boost her ego in fact boosting a male's ego is done by many females just to get favors from males and males fall flat for it!
Coming to monogamy...it is myth that a female is best suited for monogamy.
We have to remember that a female is biologically made to multi task and to love all her children..so it is actually not hard for a female to love more than 1 man.
Even in our Puranas we have a story of Devahuti who wanted to be made loved to by her husband Kardama in 9 different forms and he consented and took 9 different forms to make love to her.
So you see desire is desire..no matter from male or female..it is still a desire.
So guys beware ..dont take any female for granted...you have no idea what she wants in her mind.
BTW I should start thinking of compiling my thoughts since it is finally being proven by other professionals!LOL
