No....I do not want to say indirectly...I meant it directly.

Isn't it a known fact that males are indeed the "weaker' sex?

Best example is cases of Lovvu gone wrong.

Males who can not marry their Lovvu become depressed..some become Devdas type of alcoholics..some even commit suicide but females can right away marry the man their parents choose..feel depressed may be just for a short while..within a few weeks they would talk all about Thali sentiment if at all the ex boyfriend still desires here.

Suddenly she will become as pure as fire claiming that fire wont burn her blah blah blah...

she wont feel anything for her ex boyfriend but the male just jumps off the cliff.

I think this may be far fetched..I know women who have run away with their NB lover after marrying a TB..The passion has consumed them

Foolish females..why run away?

Stay married but keep the lover as a part time employee...after a while the part time employee would prefer to be employed somewhere else on full time basis.

Or may be it was Deiviga Kadhal!LOL

Dear Renu,

Please do not give new ideas! :nono:

We are struggling for solutions to retain the community in tact, without mixing nonbrahms.

Dear Auh Ji,

You are thinking too much. I think females were not included in 'pArppAr'.

And, paththini peN means chaste woman who are devoted ONLY to their better half.

Kannagi wanted the fire to spare brahmins (who were good in those days!), 'aRavOr' from other varnAs,

chaste women, children and old people.

P.S: I guess some chaste women would have lost their partners in fire!

Is that the stated goal?
Let Us define what is that community after 378 posts?
Then let us define what is the aim of this so called "committee"?
Who can participate, what is geographical region, what will be the language, where will it exist, who cam be office bearers, how will they be elected, what will be the charter, and, and..........

Some of these answers will eliminate some of the active members (which will please the autocrats).

Dear Prasad Sir,

You totally missed the sar***m in my post! So sad!!

And I got a thumbs down!

The ...................Brigade is becoming active again as usual.

Some one is struggling for solutions (This member is unable resist temptation of participation) and some other (uncrowned monarch) is asking umpteen number of questions after 380 posts and thus exhibits his deep involvement in the topic for lip service.

And some one is missing the sar***m in the postings!!

It appears their only aim is to derail/hijack such thread and they may be successful.

It is their M.O.,

Let these
'good hearts' keep active ever, in the interest of accomplishing their desired goal and go for a 'merry -go-round'.

My post is as concrete as it gets. Unless you have the foundation, your air castle will come down crumbling. Having built organizations and structure I have some experience in this field.
Secondly you need money, and dedicated workers for the cause. If not it is just a smoke puff.

I might have not got the sar***, but I am not responsible for thumbs down. Sorry.
Dear Prasad Sir,

Dear RR Ji,

I do not understand what you actually mean here.

What ideas have I given?

I was talking about Kannagi and her crime of arson and about strong women/weak women etc.

I do not see how this affects the struggle to retain purity of a certain community?

I hope you do not mind sharing with me your actual view.

We are just seriously discussing about the possible solutions

And you now poke your nose and rising queries by mention of words like concrete foundation, castle, money, smoke, etc.

While we were able to build a castle, do you think we will miss a strong foundation??

You are free to shoot your queries and of course I don’t think anybody is serious in answering them.

Keep trying hard, there may be some ‘good hearts left out, to attend.

Yes. Some may even continue the affair after marriage. Some even went to the extent of killing husband with the help of boy friend while on honeymoon tour.

This is not advisable to become a criminal and murder husband for lover.

If one really wants to have an affair it should be a Sattva Affair.

Non violence.
Love both and pray for both husband and lover to be happy.

just for sake of an example:-
Recounting the horror of the Attingal Twin Murders: How the crime played out
Two years after the horrific Attingal Twin Murder case, the two accused Nino Mathew and Anu Shanthi were found guilty of murder by the Thriruvananthapuram principal sessions court. On Monday, the Thriruvananthapuram principal sessions judge awarded the death sentence to the prime accused Nino Mathew.
Calling it a rarest-of-rare crime, Judge V Shircy also sentenced Anu Shanthi to life imprisonment saying that she is an insult to motherhood.
Here is how the case unfolded:
On the afternoon of April 16, 2014, 57-year-old Vijayamma, also known as Omana, was alone at her home in Attingal with her 4-year-old granddaughter Swastika, when an unsuspected visitor dropped in.
Nino Mathew (40), a software engineer in Technopark, introduced himself as her son Lijeesh's friend who had come to invite him for a wedding.
Lijeesh had gone out nearby for some work and Nino asked Omana to call him home, which the latter promptly did. Lijeesh's wife, Omana's daughter-in-law and Swastika's mother Anu Shanthi (30) was at work at the time.
What took place next would give Attingal its horrific suffix — the twin murder case.
Nino brutally stabbed Omana and Swastika to death, and waited for almost half-an-hour for Lijeesh to come home. Lijeesh too was attacked, but escaped the attempt on his life with injuries and alerted the neighbours.
It was then that Nino's plan fell apart.
The police solved the crime in 24 hours — they first arrested Nino, who confessed to the crime, and later shockingly, Anu Shanthi, his paramour.
The murders were planned after Anu’s husband Lijeesh objected to her extra marital affair with Nino. After recording Nino’s and Anu's arrests, the police recovered murder weapons from Nino’s house — a matchete and a baseball bat, a towel that was used to wipe the weapons clean and gold ornaments that he stole from the bodies to make it look like a robbery attempt.
Principal Session Judge V Shircy said, "The first accused does not deserve any mercy. He took a young life. The child was younger than his own daughter. She was not even the size of the weapons he used. Still, he attacked her in a manner that her brain was shattered all over. He then went on to kill a hapless woman. There were 14 cuts on her head. The accused do not deserve to live, the judge held."
The duo has been charged of murder, conspiracy, attempt to destroy evidence and theft. After the prosecution examined as many as 49 witnesses, 85 exhibits and 41 material objects, the judge found Anu equally guilty as she was aware of Nino Mathew’s plans.
A case of transmitting obscene material in electronic form was also charged against the duo, after the police found recovered self-made videos of Nino’s sexual acts with Anu Shanthi in his laptop and mobile phone.
According to the police, the murder was "well-planned and premeditated, committed with the intention of making it appear as one committed by burglars and to later enable the two accused to live together".
Anu sent pictures of the layout of the house to Nino through WhatsApp and the duo also planned an escape route for him.
While Nino claimed that he did not commit the crime, Anu was quoted by the media as saying, "Don't term me as a mother who killed her own baby."

That would be polyandry. Which is also a crime I think. Or at least grounds for divorce.

An affair is not a "crime" in legal terms. It is not polyandry either.
In human beings:
Polyandry: It is the practice or condition of having more than one husband at one time.
A lover is not husband in legal terms.

Polyandry involves marriage that includes more than two partners and can fall under the broader category of polyamory.

But then again we digress.:focus:

If Polygamy is legal, then Polyandry should also be legal, logically.
