Dear Mr Narayanan

As regards your Kasi Yatra, I would suggest that you contact Sri R. Shekar Shastry
in Varanasi - Tel # [0542] 3207420 / Cell # 093354 74312 . He will explain all the rituals
in Allahabad[Prayag], Varanasi [Kashi] and Gaya. If you are planning to undertake the
tour for the purpose of Pitru Karyams, then please ascertain from him the various items
to be taken from here for Daanams at the three places. Many items required are not available
in the North.

I have undertaken this tour [ never through any tour/travel agent ] four times - thrice because
of popular demand from friends and associates, each time the group strength was over 25, with only
me as a Hindi speaking participant. If you so require, I can suggest the most economical and
convenient itinerary.

Meantime, please speak with Sri Shekar Shastry [ giving my reference] and ascertain the
Daanam requirements and Vadhyar Sambhavanai at each place i.e., if your purpose is
Pitru Karyams.

I am shreeramachandran, a retiree of department of telecom. I am 74years old. I have three daughters. All of them are well settled in life. My forefathers migrated somewhere from Thanjavur to kerala, may be some 1000 years ago and my father reverse migrated. I hold a degree in telecom. I am interested in upgrading the future generation of bramins to reach unnatha sthithi in every sphere of knowledge and employment and must command every sphere. I request like minded persons to come to organise such that all our children in plus 2 in state as well as CBSE to score between 98.5 and 100 percent. I hear some persons laughing at my write up but it is serious. The world does not end up with us. Our community must regain the original unnatha sthithi which was unfortunately lost due to the false propaganda and reservation problems. Let me do some more writing. It was Manu also known as satyavrathan a kshthryan who formed the society formation. The duties and responsibilities of each varna is well defined by him. Even if he was from North, the kings of south also adapted the same. A wrong propaganda was set forth that bramins promoted the caste system and untouchability. Let us now concentrate on the coming generations who will restore the past glory.

best regards for all the readers

If Manu was a kshathriya, you are depriving the dravida kazhagam people the one stick that they are using to bash up the brahmin community. Honestly, I was thinking the same until I saw your post

The way this thread is going, I think people are not paying attention to Praveen's initial message.

True. But most newcomers probably do not read Praveen's manifesto. So, it is the administrator who needs to step in as a receptionist in an urban mall, directing the bucolic visitor to the paved walkways ( aka forum threads).

So, we ululating urbanites should bear with some bucolic brahmins bending the rules in a bridegroom chase. Welcome them and vet them properly.

And occasionally, the bucolic visitor has gold nuggets that are too irresistible to be ignored.
So, Praveen, it is your turn.

`Yes. The present government is the ruler. It does reservations, de-reservations, caste based concessions etc., As per the varnas only Kshthriya alone can rule and can do formation of society assigning responsibility for the conduct of the country. It is distortion of reality that DK&DMK indulged in. Now they have started doing reservations within reservations hurting the prospects of the bonafide communities defined under constitution. Constitution does not provide for religion based reservations and yet government is doing. Maximum reservation permitted is only fifty percent out of which 22.5% is for SCs and STs buddists and SCs among sikhs.. There is lot of spill over of unfilled vacancies of STs which the SCs occupy by producing bogus certificates as STs. The balance 27.5% is for BCs,OBCs etc., Now muslims, have a cut to the resentment of BCs and OBCs. Now to propitiate convert christians from SCs may ask for a cut. 50% is open competition. Ambedkar was very clever in asking his followers to adopt buddism since he only included buddists among the 22.5% reservations so that the transition from hinduism to buddism does not affect the prospects of SC converts to buddism. Shortly you will find that these among the 50% reservations do infighting and ultimately call for scrapping the reservation itself. Such a day will not be far off. That is why I am telling that our wards must be so coached to occupy at least 40% of the whole. That is in all educational institutions, our wards must occupy all the government open quota and in the Jobs also. INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE has become INDIAN ADUPPANKARAI SERVICE to serve the petty kitchen cabinet interests of the politicians. They must become doctors, engineers and financial professionals of ace grade, most wanted over the globe. that is my ambition and invite like minded persons to discuss. Every service should have 50% occupied by brahmins.

best regards for the readers

We have to be on our best behavior at least till Tuesday, when Praveen can check the posts.

Folks,

I am checking the posts also as I am still the Moderator :).

Some folks tend to use this thread for other things - not many.

Soon they will realize that their posts here do not attract that much attention.

If it becomes a habit, we will intervene.

KRS

Dear friend,

Very happy to welcome you to the Forum. Please be free to participate in the discussions, some them you will find very useful and the participants are learned scholars who share their knowledge. A true knowledge seeker need not confine himself by artificial barriers of varna, caste or creed. Vedas are repositories of knowledge compiled by great thinkers.

Regards,
Brahmanyan,
Bangalore.
