OM SRI SAIRAM - this is Padmanab Sridhar R. presently from Singapore

Hello Everybody: SAIRAM. I am happy to be a new entrant of this wonderful group - need of the hour. I would like to contribute and participate in discussions. My father is a lyricist and a columnist in chennaionline.com/tamil He has written recently about Ambal Neelayadakshi temple of Nagapattinam which can be viewed under "Anmeegam" section. He has also written another article "பிராமண துவேஷம் வேண்டாமே" under 'பத்திகள்'. If it is permitted, I would like to forward his devotional songs (lyrics) on Ambal Neelayadakshi for the benefit of members. Shortly, I will be placing his ten songs produced by us as a music album titled "அமுதமே குமுதமே.
Thanks and Regards
Padmanab Sridhar R.

Introduction and Nithya Karma's

Hi Everybody,

Introduction :

Namaskarams. My name is Anand (R. Anantharaman), S/o. A. R. S. Ramani Iyer, working in Chennai, settled at Pondicherry. My native place is Melkumaramangalam Agraharam in Cuddalore District (hope I am not confusing by giving different places).

Suggestion : Nithya Karma's and basic requirements :

Let someone from our group, who is capable, can give the brief details of Nithya Karma's and basic requirements of Brahmin's as most of our people does not know the basics (Abhivatheye etc). If so, would be useful to many of our people.

Regards,

Anand

Welcome to our forum. You really want another birth? It is really surprising.

If I am offered a choice, I will request God not to give me another birth.

Anyway it is your wish.

All the best

Mr Venkatramani,

I appreciate your immediate response. I will request God to offer me next birth also. People will have their own views. Let us have reasonable discussions

Namaskarams to all,

Sri Venkataramani,Sri drsundaram.

Let me quote the Saintly words

"Satsangatve Nissangatwam
Nissangatwe nirmohatwam
Nirmohayve Nischalatatwam
Nischalatatve Jeevanmukti
"

Let us make this forum as the begnning:- Satsang....
and the jeevan mukti is reachable at the end of the fourth line .

Once a westerner asked Puttaarti Satya Sai baba ,"This is the day of everything instant: from instant coffee to instant sex.Can you give me instant Moksha? Baba replied " Yes:I need not give you .You yoursellf can have it. Please write it on a paper" The westerner wrote on a paper -"I need Moksha" and showed to Baba. Baba told him " Erase the words "I" and "need" You have (instant) Moksha.

Does any further explanation needed .Or is it possible to simplify further?

Bagavathi ji,

I welcome your courage in openly declaring your confidence in being proud to be a Brahmin,(unlike the "thodanadungi"s --many seen in this forum also).
You have brought in a welcome breeze by your words. This is the first thing all brahmins should have :- A stonelike confidence in being a Brahmin. Come what may. We will face it. Towards that end this forum should serve .Educating members in "Tharka" style and deep knowledge of various matters.

Kripananda Vaariyar used to say " Swantham is what you have got by your birth. Bandham is what you choose with your discretion by yourselves after birth."(eg marriage)

Let us be proud of our swantham ,be it our parents, heritahge name Brahmin, or any other thing which we inherited. Let us now choose our Bandhams using proper discretion and knowlegde.,whilee keeping swatham cherished. We have chosen this forum members as Bandhu s. So we are all now Bandhu,s.

Continue to be in this forum with similar self confidence always.

Greetings.
