Introduce yourself here

I am Anant Padmanabhan from Pune where we have been living for the past 26 years. I am now 63 years and we would be shifting to Dehugaon which is the birth place of Sant Tukaram after January 2012. Basically a Chemical Engineer who has been in the field of Water Treatment for the past 40 years. I had a serious accident in 2001 to the spine resulting in paralysis/foot drop in right leg which has resulted in my not being able to move out freely. Was doing business in Water Treatment and now more or less retired. Winding up the firm that was started and after having helped those who were with me start another firm to carry on the work started. Trying to do nityakarma regularly and performing Siva puja which my father was doing during his life time. Have typed both Valmiki Ramayanam and Srimadbhagavatam and proof read with a great Krishna Bhaktai from US. If any one needs the chapters in pdf format in Sanskrit or Roman or Tamil, Telugu, Kannada or Malayalam, would be happy to share. For Valmiki Ramayanam all the kANDams are transliterated but Srimadbhagavatam is not fully done in Malayalam.

Great job! I hope the members of this forum will get benefitted by your valuable work.God bless you !

Dear Shri Sadasivam Sridharan/Shri Natpushpa

Thank you for your kind words. I am of the firm belief that whatever happens is due to Him and Him alone. If we take things in this spirit and carry on with life, I am sure the sufferings all have would just vanish or not seem to be sufferings at all. It shall be a pleasure to be of help to fellow living beings in whatever way one can. We all need His blessings to reach the ultimate goal of every soul to reach His Lotus Feet.

Ananthram

Hi
Iam referred to as Ananth, Born and brought up in Mumbai. Father belonged to a place called koovappady a small village near Perumbavoor in Eranakulam. Mom born and brought up in Mumbai but her father came from a place called Vaikom...(sorry if i have spelt it wrong). I stay at Thane. Have done my post graduation in HR from Pune University, worked with a HR consultancy company for 19 years before venturing on my own. The reason for joining this community is to commence the process of getting initialised into the ethos of this community. Something i, either chose or by default, never got exposed to for whatever reason. I firmly hope that interactions with the esteemed members on this form will help me in this process.

Thanks and Have a great day and life!!!!

Shri Ananthram,

Welcome to TBC. Wish you many many years and useful posts in this Forum. You will find a treasure trove of information as also guidelines regarding the Tabra way of life. The choice of what to choose and what to follow is, fortunately for our community today, left to the individual.

You are right, your mother's father must have been from Vaikom, once upon a time a famous stronghold of Kerala Tabras and also famous in the struggle for temple entry by lower castes. There is another place called Vakkom near Thiruvananthapuram also, but not known for having any tabra population.

Dear Sri Ananthram, Glad to welcome you to this wonderful forum. I am Natarajan (ID: Natpushpa) a retired Electrical Engineer . Vaicom is a very nice place. I went to Vaicom temple some 30 years back when my co-brother was working in Cochin Port. Really I enjoyed it . Hope you will have a nice time in this forum where a lot of people with varied interests and talents and with various age groups are participating. Wishing you Health & Happiness. Natpushpa.

Just as Shri Beloved K said your words or expressions must not Thorn others.

That is a Must.Wish you a happy stay in this Forum and expose your Valuable Thoughts and experience.
