I am impressed by the emotive feelings of Rojatv. I too have requested the Gentleman who has started this Forum to initiate action to positively embark on actions to create real life help to less fortunate T.Bs.
I am for young Brahmin youths to start Business. My son did it . we can inter act, Mr Roja tv

dear sirs,

if you go through the archives, you would find, there has been several big talks of helping less fortunate tambrams. all talks and no action.

may i please suggest, each of you, just adopt one family and help them to get ontheir feet. that is one less tambram.

it is quick, no admin fees, no politics and above all should be satisfying to you and your soul.

it is a big favour that i ask you. can you open a new thread and let us know of your experiences as a government employee in tamil nadu. there has been lot of discussions here about discriminations, passed over for promotions due to quotas and above all ill treatment.

your experiences would be most valuable.

Dear Ananth, Yes; you are right. actually I have fascination for Poona( I normally not call Poona as PUNE ) because, I lived in Kirkee for 10 years , from 1956 to 1966, worked in A.F. K. Year back, I visited Poona & showed my Son/ grand Children the areas we started life after marriage, in Kirkee. We stayed in Rasthapet, with my family friend of 45 years.
Lot of things have changed tremendously, still I enjoyed going round with friend Mr. D. Iyengar , whose parents lived for decades there.
Please tell about your life in Poona , Job etc.

When were you in Pune? One of our close family frinends K. Natarajan worked in AFK and retired a few years back. He is now 65 years old. He has two sons & one of them is settled in US & the other is working in Bengaluru. It is not right to discuss about extraneous issues concering us in this Forum and hence I would request you to give me your mail ID or alternatively reply to my mail ID [email protected]. This Forum should be used for discussing topics which are of common interests, for the benefit of people in general & brahmins in particular, in my opinion.

Indeed it gives me pleasure to know that an online forum exclusively for Brahmins is available. My best wishes to the organizers by keeping it more useful to everyone of our community and I am very happy that I am part of this forum. I would like Members to share information on slokas/stotras and about importance of temples in India, which I would reciprocate.

My my maternal ancestry hails from thiruchinapalli. The greatest teacher I have had was my mother. And consider her and all mothers to be greater teachers than anybody I know or know about. She taught me to learn in her very own unique language. I learnt all about sound, music, sounds of music, vAk, sounds in speech, telugu and tamizh and different languages from my mother. I had no time to devote for full fluency to read and write in either language. I am considered good in English. And good in Hindi. I discover that I get upset temporarily and laugh when there are arguments on language and which is better. I can imagine my mother's answer if she were asked. The question is so laughable - kaNNA - you are asking which side of my face I like better - and who is the best? - you or your brother or sister. All of you are the best in the whole universe. Defeats all Nobel laureates' logic put together does it not!
