I missed the meeting by a couple of days. I am currently in chennai & would shuttle back to cbe now. I would love to meet the the members. Maybe some other time; hope that I can?

Unless you knew about the meet
and knew where and when to go,
surely you would have missed it -
even if you had been in Chennai on that day!
 
Shmt.Raji Ram,

It was my Golden Opportunity of meeting with some of our esteemed members and thanks a bunch to you for hosting the get together in your home sweet home, near to my home, when I am roaming around on hectic schedule, meeting the demands of my friends and loved ones.. :)

Had nice time chit chatting with Shri Naina Marbus, Shri Nannilam Balasubramanian, Shri.V.Balasubramani, Mr. & Mrs.Anand Manohar, yourself and Mama. Loved chatting with Sir's younger brother too.

It was so touching and graceful to have met with your sweet, lovely & cute MOM. Last year I saw her only on Skype Video Chat along with Smt.Visalakshi Ramani, But, this time I could interact with her, get her blessings and got her applying Vibuthi on my forehead.. :)

I would like to call Shri Anand Manohar as Young Guy with very casual, jovial & funny style of interacting with others. When he called me up, couple of days before our get together, he surprised me with his way of communicating over the phone. I thought some one from my old college days friends circle have traced me some how and is now calling me.

He said, "The world calls me Ananad"..For that I replied him (without knowing who the person is), "The world calls me Ravi". LOL!!!


Unfortunately I could not meet with Dr.Narayani and Shri.TVK. Hopefully I could meet them too during my next annual vacation.


Thanks to all who could gather on 15th Evening and gave me this wonderful chance.

9th to 13th Oct were the dates indicated by Prasad when he would be in Chennai - T Nagar.

But it looks you are going away during the same period. Dr Ross and The Sheikh [ Chella Pillai of the TB Forum
shhhh! - Renu didn't hear that ] are not likely to be around.

That leaves Sravana [ Srinivasan Vidyaraman ] and Praveen Ji who have indicated that they would be interested
in attending the next gathering. I have since spoken with Rishikesan [ A Srinivasan ] who resides in Vadapalani
80+ in age and might find commuting a bit of a hassle. For Dr Narayani commuting from Kolathur or Korattur to
Palavakkam might be cumbersome.

No, no, no - no meeting without you - the slogan " No RR, No Meet ".

But unless I get more feedback from folk, it will be difficult to fix a date - everybody has his / her own
commitments / priorities.

So, let's give it some time - people need to check their schedules.

Dear Mr Anand, It was nice talking to you I find , there is enthusiasm. We can pool persons living in one area & it would be easy to commute to-gether, wherever meeting may be held. Some expenses , no one would mind It is the meeting of those who had been writing in this forum 7 can have personal touch such that familiarity would bring our mind closer for any good decisions for the future of T.N B We will have Mr Praveen to give out his views & we would cooperate .

there will be no problem if it happens as per your saying .But many will find fault with something or the other .may be about the food,the special treatment ,dressing etc.

It looks, the pic has become ' ULTA ' - I guess nobody noticed it !
The photo studio guy probably printed the negative wrongly.
[ Two points are a clear suggestion of this ]

My son tried to flip it but without success.

May be he did not try hard enough! :)

I said, "It will look as if she is waring a 9 yards sari!"

and told him to let thing be as they were.

Also she is using her left hand to make me smile.

Looks odd for who is right handed!!! Right???

Is there anything else which I have missed???

Both the get together-s were nice at my sweet home! We don't assemble to find fault with one another but to have some

friendly chats, of course followed by eating! 'virundhOmbal' is our basic culture, right? :)

dear Guruji,

You may have a point in here. :thumb:

When the group is very small :grouphug:

it is more manageable and smooth.

But when it becomes large, :flock:

things you suggest are sure to crop in.

I know how the human mind works!
