Today's woman is definitely anemic and most men are so to ! Anemia was something unknown in the past.

WHY?

Iron skillets and dosa making hot plates were used regularly.

A vegetable stir fry prepared in the iron skillet once a week was enough to meet the body's demand of iron for the entire week. So when used everyday, the body got more than its need of iron.

Today we have changed over to the so called nonstick pans and pots. They have proved beyond doubts to be carcinogenic or cancer producing . Yet no one hears the warning. For all we know the use of the non stick vessels may be a leading cause for the higher rate of cancer prevailing in advanced countries.

Drawn by the fancy of the easy-to-clean non-stick-vessels, people to use them liberally and suffer more harm than good in the long run.

I agree, the environment is getting worse. No signs of the sparrows today, which my neighbourhood was filled up with several years ago.
But this does not quite explain something - the average life span now is more than what it used to be !!

These days majority of the children learn how to be creative or imaginative
at an early age, owing to the existence of the media. These days, elders
share everything with the children irrespective of the age, as the children
start questioning them.

Those days, parents try to keep the children away from the parents and engage
them in activities such as study, religious courses, etc. But it is entirely different
now. Though certain things appear to be ridiculously old fashioned, value of the
children getting diminished.

# 10. Old id gold!

People used to drink the fresh cool water from a mud pot. It had a distinct flavor, a natural taste and was just cool / cooler depending on the external temperature.

In the hot days, the evaporation of the water seeping out through the minute pores was speed-ed up and the water became cooler. So it was nature's own thermostat to give us the cool water at the right temperature.

Now we roam in the hot sun. The moment we get back home, we empty a bottle of very cold water from the fridge! The sudden transition from the very hot to the very cold is not beneficial to the body.

Another factor is the container in which we store the water. Glass bottles are becoming a thing of the past. The new unbreakable and use-and-throw-bottles are the thing of today.

But we don't throw them after using them; we refill them and reuse them.

A word of warning!

Reusing plastic bottles can be a health risk in that improper cleaning could lead to the ingestion of harmful bacteria. Unless careful cleaning of the container is carried out, potentially dangerous bacteria could be left behind.

I found out, you can assume any 3 digits and discover the 4th from the equation.
e.g.,1,3,4
1+3+4+x = 1*3*4*x = 12x
8+x = 12x
so, x = 8/11
so 1+3+4+8/11 = 1*3*4*8/11 = 96/11
