There are two very important statements in the Bhagavad Gita, which you must take to heart and profit from: Shraddhavan Labhate Jnanam (The one steady in faith gains wisdom and liberation) and Samshayaathma Vinashyathi (Doubt leads to perdition, spiritual ruin). Dwell on these axioms and practice the spiritual disciplines of repetition of the Lord’s name and meditation on His form. Gopis of Brindavan yearned for the Lord with purity in their hearts and attained union with Him. You too must fill your mind with His beautiful form and contemplate on the glory of the Lord. Then you can attain Divinity. This is the pursuit that is worthy, not the pursuit of fame, nor the friendship of the famous.

As we all know that Japa i.e. the repetition of the divine name of the Supreme Power,
to be more effective, one has to repeat it consciously with an alert mind always.
Suppose if the mind is controlled, the effect will be much faster. If it is not,
even if one chants thousand times, the result may not be positive. Some people
repeat the Nama whole day with no concentration on the Supreme Power holding
Japa Mala in the hand rolling one by one. It is because such people lack concentration.
Generally, patience and perseverance produces the good results and also improves
the quality of spiritual practice while paving way for purity of mind. Above all,
one has to have good faith in the Supreme Power while chanting the Divine Nama
and there is no doubt that the sanctity of repetition fetches the desired results.

The Day Has Come

Every being in this universe rises from the deep sleep of the night to the morning’s promise… the light… and in this light, we wake up to love someone… something… Even though the night is dark, we close our eyes to rest… in order to gather the strength… to give the love that already resides in each soul… awakened or not! And when the morning light reaches our eyes, our heart gleams with hope… The pain of yesterday… the burdens of emotion… the desperation of a loss, all begins to lessen and fade as we look up at the clear skies that is revealing to us the path to be happy again is clear… Happiness is the nature of the soul… Who can ever take that away…?

Wake up, My dear children. Your path is clear… Nothing must make your spirit weep… You are born to tackle every moment with a smile… All the wounds shall heal when selfless love thinks… speaks and does… As long as you shall lead all that you do, with the light within you… everything you touch shall shine with the perfection of purity… As long as you shall not deny the strength of God within you, everything shall happen right at the blessed time…

The morning has come and all the fears… tears… and pain that you have suffered in the past days must now begin to fade… The light of My love welcomes you… Your strength now shall determine the worth of My work that I have done… Your devotion for Me has to sustain the word of truth that I have left behind for the generation to come… Your determination to be happy shall uplift the souls that have weakened in doubt… Be courageous… The work of the Divine always continues… No time can make it stand still… If you are ready to smile… if you are ready to accept the work ahead… if you believe in the love you feel for Me… then every war that you take upon shall end in victory… My blessings are with you always…

The day has come for you to know and realize who I really am… The day has come for you to stand by that truth that “I always am… was… and will be…” The day has come for you to give Me all that you have learnt from My teachings… The day has come for you to give up all your weaknesses once and for all and reach for My strength that I have placed in you… The day has come where all excuses must be put aside, all sincerity must be put forth… The day has come where those who claim to be devoted to Me shall put Me before all else… The day has come… And you must be ready…vigilant… and fully aware… of the work ahead…

And while you are immersed in the task that shall free you, I shall protect you and deliver to you, Myself, at every moment…

Bhagwan’s Message

"My work, while I am in the Cosmos will be instantaneous............. whoever asks Me with a loving heart and pure mind, I shall grant their selfless desire immediately............. Before I take My next body, I am as universal consciousness clearing the wrongful ways of this world and at the same moment, without the moment passing, I have created the whole life of the Avataar to come.................... Without the moment still passing, I have placed its vibrations into the cosmos........ and all of My will shall come to be .......... Those that have truly loved Me and served Me.....
in duty and service ........... to those souls, I shall reveal the higher world.......... that is unknown to even the mastermind............. with this higher vision, they will be compelled to prepare for the Avataar to come.............. In this period.......... there will be chaos in belief......... and at the same time, the chosen ones shall roar with faith and bring together an era of prayer....... peace...... and love for God.........
All is being done...... at the same moment........ Know that I have not been put to rest......... I have spread expansively in this world and the worlds you do not see........... this is the most glorious time to pray................... and know from within......... my play ahead and your role to come..................".

The Sun is up in the sky during the day. It is the passing clouds that hide it from your vision sometimes, is it not? Similarly, the sensory world is the cloud that hides the Divine (Atma), ever shining in the firmament of your heart. The same mind that gathers the clouds also has the capability to disperse them in an instant! The wind gathers the clouds from all quarters and renders the sky dark. Sometimes, in a few moments, the same wind can change the direction and send the clouds in a scurry to wherever they came from! Then, the Sun becomes visible. So your mind is all powerful. Train it to disperse the clouds, not to gather them. Every aspirant must accomplish this training of their minds by following rigorous and systematic discipline.

Dear Mr Jaichand

Normally, in Hindu Traditions, as per Hinduism, Bhagawan is
nothing but a Supreme Being. If you are interested to know in depth,
you may kindly go through the Puranas like Vishnu Purana, wherein
Parashara Muni, i.e. the father of Vyasa had defined in clear terms.
If it is discussed from the point of argument, I have no answer.
Generally, it is said that Bhagavan is a Supreme Personality, who is
not comparable to human beings. In Hindu religious texts there are
many i.e. around 18 or so Vishnu Purana is one among them. We
have Vedas and Upanishads, etc. besides we have many Sampradayams.
Acharyas can only explain your question. Yet with all humility, it is
submitted that Bhagawan is an accepted and proven Universal concept.
We read in our History, about many Historical Kings; have we seen any
of them in our generation. We read many stories about the Sages
who lived in India and had guided everyone all these years in the path
of Sanatana Dharma. All these Puranas guide us to get away from
materialistic desires and leads us forward towards worship and prayer,
puja, etc. to attain Moksha or liberation from the cycle of births and deaths
in this material world. We need air to breathe. Have we seen the
air but we can only feel. When the sun rays fall on the earth, we feel, and
you could also notice the light rays falling on the earth, but can you hold it
in a bottle by pushing the rays?

You ask for Grace, which is rare and is available at a high cost. However, you pay only trash and are disappointed that you are unable to secure it! Isn’t it sheer avarice! You claim that you have been visiting Puttaparthi (or other sacred places) and have served there, longer than 18 years or so and expect huge chunks of Grace. But it is not the years that matter – what matters is the depth to which the roots of Karma (past actions) have grown from your previous births. It takes a long time and systematic effort to clear the field of all those growths - that effort is the sadhana, of good actions and worship (Karma and Upasana).

Karma, the rituals that we perform are prescribed ones as per our Shastras.
Purpose of performing these rituals, is to attain get relief from the past mistakes
or to get relief in this life or after demise. Knowledge or Jnana is essential
to every one so as to acquire self-knowledge. Upasana is also an important
follow up activity to attain relief or moksha. However, upasana is mainly based
on the preparedness of a person, like or dislike and the mental frame of a person
who undertakes such activities like worship, prayer, meditation, etc. If done
sincerely, it can help a person to enhance knowledge and activity.

The Dual or Non-dual approach to Divinity (Dwaitha or Adwaitha) are not distinct; they are stages of mental transformation. The fruit is the same; the sun and soil make it ripen through the intermediate stages of raw, tender and mature fruit. The day you realise that the Lord’s address is as specified in the Gita: “Ishwarah sarva bhutanam, hriddese, Arjuna Thishthati (O Arjuna, the Lord is in the heart of every being)", that day you would have truly attained Him! To realize the Lord in every being, you must cultivate love and drive out the bats of hate, envy and malice that infest the dark caverns of your heart. Let the light of Love illumine your thoughts, your words, your activities, your movements and your judgements. When you are transmuted into love in this manner, the Lord, who is Love-Incarnate, will reveal Himself to you.

The Dual or Non-dual approach to Divinity (Dwaitha orAdwaitha) are not distinct; they are stages of mental transformation.

Everyone has to sometime or other think of transformation of one's
way of thinking & seeing the objects, feeling about the divine acts
so as to achieve spiritual consciousness. It is difficult for an ordinary
person, initially, to pass on to spiritual acts by one's own effort.
Sadhana has to be on the prescribed forms of meditation, chanting
of mantras or slokas, etc. However, self-concentration and self-opening
of the mind towards Divine Power is inescapable. To attain the
Divine Presence into one's own heart needs sustained practice. But
it all depends on one's faith, aspiration to achieve and ready to surrender
to the Supreme Power. When the mind deviates and if one loses
concentration, then also it is difficult to achieve that. However,
one's aspiration to attain the divine power has to be intensive. Watching
and observing from a Satsang, can also bring some changes into one's mind.
We see some sitting at one place concentrating on meditation by
closing the eye-brows, but for many this is a difficult opening because
of the wavering mind.

SAIRAM

[h=5]Sairam Friends......

The Ganesha Principle as I Have Seen and Witnessed:

When the Sai Kulwant Hall was constructed, a Vinayaka idol was brought. It was black in colour and had an old and archaic look. Swami felt that it should be more of a golden colour. So He said, “Why don't you boys try to remove the black colour and polish it?”

We tried our level best but it was not happening. Swami Himself personally observed us doing this. We started polishing the back of the statue but then Swami said, “Just leave it. Don't do anything.” That Ganesha was installed as the main deity behind Bhagawan's chair as He sat in the Sai Kulwant Hall.

After the Mahasamadhi in April 2011, when the authorities felt that Swami's Samadhi had to come up at that place, a question arose as to where to shift this Ganesha. Temporarily He was kept inside. Later I found that they wanted to install the same Ganesha in front of the Gopuram gate, which was now open for devotees. When people enter through this gate, there is a Ganesha here too. This is all divine sankalpa (will). Not only that, on the day of this installation I was there and I could not believe it was the same old Ganesha because the authorities had sent the idol for polishing. When it came, it was a golden Ganesha which Swami wanted from day one!

The Ganesha idol that was installed behind the dais on which Bhagwan sat for decades, is now installed in front of the Gopuram gate for all devotees to worship

It might be something very insignificant but He had already made the sankalpa that it was going to be a golden Ganesha. That is what happened; it is just that it took its own time. That day when I saw the installation of Lord Ganesha in between the statues of Lord Rama, Lakshmana, Sita and the Gopuram Gate I could not believe my eyes. Everything has its own beautiful time.

We have to pray to the Lord to grant us that siddhi and buddhi so that we learn to surrender to His will and lead a life in tune with the divine all the time:[/h]

One cannot give adult food to a baby – you have to adjust the food to the needs and the digestive abilities of the child and gradually let the tastes develop with age. So too, you cannot reach the peak, in just one jump! It takes persistent effort and gradual progress to get to the top, is it not? Realize that it is a very hard job to negate the evidence of the senses. You can and must overcome the tendencies that have grown within you from hundreds of births. The truth that the world is an illusion and is a manifestation of the Divine is clear to a few, who have reached their destination. If you are an aspirant, until that realization hits you, you must persist in your path, patiently, with hope and sincere effort.

One has to be humble in life. While growing spirituality, one has to
restrict one's wordly desires step by step. While trying to be self-reliant,
purification of the mind is absolutely essential. Without regretting as
to what had happened, one has to meditate on positive things or deeds.
One has to be obey to the will of the Supreme Power and pray HIM
for growing spiritually without arguing to the fellow beings about the
existence of the Supreme Power. One has to meditate without giving
any gap, so as to maintain sustainability. It is mentioned that time is life
and one has to value the time and spend it more usefully to attain the
divine bliss.
