Well you are sweet, Valli, to tell you the truth, if you know my life story, it could be a fantastic soap opera that you can keep the audience watch for about five years.. I have so much history.. all good and very interesting life.. :-)
As I had mentioned in the other post, please give me some time, I will share a lot more.. now I am a bit busy to pull a lot of material.. my right arm and back are not in good shape at this time.. but I will fix all that and participate more, Thank you..

deepa mariam is a gulf brought up malayali girl (age now 31) who studied computer science, and went to the usa for higher studies and marriage, like so many tambram girls. apparently malayali christian girls have the same goals too ;)

however the call of music beckoned back home, and she convinced her hubby john to move back to motherland, and settle in chennai.

her first hit was from subramaniapuram 'kangal irandaal'. but this post is not about that song.

incidentally deepa has not yet got recognition in mallu land, but is quite busy in tamiwood and teluwood. oh well!! we know how to appreciate talents i guess.

during 2009/10, thanks to the maran and alagiri and stalin families morrowing all the theatres for their releases, so that other producers movies remained in the can - causing great hardship. so not sure, what exactly the status of this movie, 'ananda thollai' is - except that i love the title.

two contradictory words, anandam & thollai, but when put together is a micro poem by itself.

here is deepa mariam, from ananda thollai, telling us, about kannamboochi vazhkai. very meaningful lyrics, but i could not get a copy for you.
