Spilling (oops, spelling) errors

:tsk: Oops. I must have said 'Did the people return the book'' instead of ''return to''. That is how it is. Nowadays we have slip of the finger more often, just like slip of the tongue.
 
An advertisement in a newspaper once said: Wanted people who can work in the canteen in three shifts. A small error crept in: the f was missing in shifts.
 
I think post # 55 is 'cooked up' as we do in chemistry lab experiments!! :pound:

This may be அழுகுணி ஆட்டம்! :)

It was someone's typo, not mine.
I know you were kidding, all those smileys are ample proof of that.
But I think we should mention if the blunders actually were printed or painted or are the result of our fertile imagination. I can recount lots of such mistakes which occurred in newspapers but I will do so as and when I remember them.

Dear Ravi and Krish,

Thanks to you! We had a nice family get together for 'ThiruvONa deepam pooja' in Ram's village Thenkarai,

near Sholavandan. Pooja went off very smoothly. I could sing many songs and we all had very nice time.

But, the monsoon has failed completely. Vaigai river is dry! Not even a thin stream of water is there. The drought

is really very bad and farmers are put into lot of pressure. Water bed has gone down and most of the wells are

dry too! I have posted a write up 'எங்கே போனது பசுமை?' in 'எண்ண அலைகள்.'
 

A newly wedded girl wrote a letter to her mother, from her in-laws' house.

She wanted to appreciate her friendly mother-in-law. :angel:

NOT for such blunders because those words appear in the dictionary!!

Spell check is okay upto a point. There is definitely a need for real human intervention.
 
Hello all, I happen to see this thread just now ,quite interesting ,and funny too.I enjoyed it. It just reminded me when I received a SMS as condolence message ,finally stated as LET HIS SOUL BE IN PIECE.It made all of ous (DR) reaction less.
