Monday syndrome + back to work syndrome!!! :tsk:

QUOTE=renuka;153492]I start work tomorrow after being on a holiday and also closed for EID(schools are closed almost for 10 days here for Eid).

I really hate the feeling of going back to work after taking a break.
Sometimes I wished I had a job which does not require so much talking and human contact.

Someone should make some software for doctors and patients where non emergency patients just touch screen and the info is transmitted to doctor who is behind a screen and also communication is only through the computer.

Then physical examination is carried and doctor talks less to patients.

I really enjoyed my stay in India cos I did not have to talk to anyone much.

I crave for so much silence but what to do my job requires me to talk and talk and talk!LOL
[/QUOTE]

It's really bad Ok! I am sitting here after seeing some patients and haven't even left my room for the past 4 hours.
I did not want to talk to any medical representatives and told my nurses to deal with them.

Today besides patients I am not going to talk to anyone..I am not even answering phone calls unless it is urgent.

Don't want to talk to any friends also yet.

I take some 12 hours to recover from blues!LOL

BY THEN it will be officially Tuesday!
So no more Monday syndrome/ blue!!!

I am starting to wonder if the effect of Maya differs from country to country.

I noted many people in India doing morning poojas before starting their work and then when works starts its all deceit and speaking untruth.

One money changer was trying to cheat me right after I saw him do his morning pooja at his shop.

I was thinking "WTF is he doing the pooja for if he fails to speak the truth?"

I have a feeling he must have prayed to God "Dear God..please make an இளிச்சவாய் walk into my shop today for exchanging US dollars and let me make a kill "

Then in Puttaparthi one Kashmiri Muslim guy just came back from his prayers and tried to cheat me when he was weighing silver AUMs I was purchasing.

He was weighing it without letting me seeing the readings.
I told him I would like to see the readings and he said that he is putting in on the floor away from me cos if he lets me see it the fan above us will press the scale and the readings will be more.

I was thinking "what a liar! he didn't want me to know and what an excuse"

So I told him "the fan is rotating much above us and we are not having a Toofan directed only towards your scale..so don't worry there will be no effect on the reading of the scale..so you should show me your readings"

I have no problems if people cheat and lie but at least do not pray if one wants to lie and cheat!

......... You can record your routine questions and play them one at a time. ........
When my son was in the primary school, he used to say that he will record the answers for the questions '1. What is your name?

2. In which class are you studying?' and play it to all mAmAs and mAmis because invariably everyone asks these, in the same order!

And this is more interesting! I had a very smart student, who recorded all the preliminary lessons in Carnatic music, just as teacher -
student singing sessions and played the cassette in all the classes, to teach her students! Money in $ - s! :couch2: +

Dear Renu

Ha, so you realize what the world is moving towards - " Commerce is the Religion and
Currency is God " .

All Mankind bows to this new Religion - Cheating, Bribing, Gambling, Robbing, Match Fixing, Politics, Pontificating,
Scams, Narcotics, Human Trafficing, etc are only some of the New Maargams for 'God Realization'. And this God too
can manifest in any form - as Dollars / Pounds / Euros / Yen / Rupees / Vaults of treasures / whatever.

Switzerland / Isle of Man [ historically referred to as 'Tax Havens', in the past Yugas ] are the new HEAVENS.

The more devoted one is [ read wealthy], the more often one gets the good fortune to visit these Heavens
and have darshan of God. Others do "E Pooja" [ read transactions on the internet].

'OM' NI PRESENT.
'OM' NI POTENT.
'OM' NISCIENT .

It can never be Created nor Destroyed. It's presence can be perceived by an 'initiated' person
- and can be found from the deepest jungles of Africa to the barren icy plains of the polar region.

So, finding a 'cheat' in Puttaparthi/Tirupathi/Chennai/KL should not have surprised you.

Whole world follows this religion - irrespective of caste/community/country/language/faith.

Archaic and obsolete theories such as Truth, Straightforwardness, Sincerity, Trust etc find
no mention in the " New Scriptures " .

"There's Always a Price Tag" - take it or leave it, it's your call.

Airlines should make a rule to ban jasmine flowers on board!

When I went boarding the plane from Kuala Lumpur to India some 4 Malaysian Indian ladies dressed in expensive sarees and laden with gold had lots of jasmine flowers on their head!

The whole plane was full of jasmine smell and too much of jasmine gives you a headache!

These people should also think of others who can't stand smell of jasmine.

I somehow can not stand the smell of jasmine..its gives me a bad headache and nausea!

So sad Renuka maam... it is one of the most favorite flower all over the south, and the smell mesmerises all.... but after all it is preferences. I used like the roses very much till i came to Chennai, and saw that it is mostly used at furnerals and the roads would be littered with roses and i dislike it now. For you i dedicate the following:

Malligai en Mannan

Cheers!!

What to do...It really makes me a headache and giddiness and nausea.

Other smell I can't stand is Sambraani.

But there is one flower I like but it is only found in Malay graveyards..that smells nice.
It's called Bunga Cempaka in Malay..I have no idea what it is called in other languages.

Activated charcoal filter mask may help. All perfumes and deos must be banned in any closed space. Natural body odour may be permitted.

Tamil writer sujata wrote this after his trip to USA. In the west all places have the same clean smell, no difference at all. In mumbai, every area has a distinct, unique bad smell and no smell repeats.

'Natural body odour' reminds me of the man who used to take the 'electricity reading', every month, when we lived in Vizag.

Even when the man enters our compound gate, we could smell him!! I had given him a standing instruction to come inside

and take the readings, when the door is kept open. I used to open the door latch and run into my kitchen. After the guy left,

there was always a need for a deo spray in the area he visited. I used to wonder how his family tolerates his 'smell'!

:bolt:

P.S: His nickname was 'Gabbu RAjA'!

On the way back to Malaysia my seat was the middle seat and two guys were sitting beside me.

Their body odour was really bad and then one of them flying for the first time was asking me how to put on a seat belt and when he opened his mouth smell was even worse!(bad breath).

Then midway through flight he opened his shoes(feet odour)..God knows how I survived the flight back home.

I have many Gabbu Rajas and Gabbu Ranis as patients too. Some are educated and well off too and smell like a garbage truck.

We have a nick name for such patients.

We call them Ambi Pur(the brand for air freshener out here).

When such patients come in...I switch off the AC and keep some other doors open and switch on the exhaust fans.

Then when they leave I spray the room with Ambi Pur.

Generally, Kolkata stinks and many people who eat fish here also stinks. When ever the servant maid use lifts the lift also stinks. Because of the nasty smell we have no servant maids.

Ok this is real funny..remember I wrote in Forum before I left for India that men do not carry pens with them and will borrow pens from female passengers?

Ok I was seated next to a guy who actually brought a pen and I was happy thinking "wow at last a men who brought his own pen"

Then he was trying to write and no ink was coming out and he asked me "Can I borrow your pen cos my pen has no ink"

So I lent him my pen and before I knew it everyone was asking him for a pen and he cooly passed my pen around to half the plane and finally the pen came back to me!LOL

I did not want to mention any state in particular but when I was a student in India those from the land where coconuts grow in abundance and who actually think they are staying in God's own country come up tops in the Gabbu list!

The operation theatre used to stink badly if any Gabbu from coconut land used to be operating.
But there is also one plus point..patients might not require anesthesia cos anyone would faint with that smell!LOL

I have seen a TV commercial in UK - two guys with their girlfriends go to a traditional japanese restaurant, the guys get jittery when asked to remove shoes and tell the girls - I don't like japanese, let us go italian.

I don't remember what was the product advertised.

Be prepared and carry carbon masks!

Then midway through flight he opened his shoes(feet odour)..God knows how I survived the flight back home.

Dear Doc

Hey, these jasmine flowers I thought, were meant to have some sort of an aphrodisiac effect on menfolk!
I really didn't know they turned-out as " the other woman repellents " !

Thank God, our elders taught us to bathe before going into Temples, otherwise every deity
would be frowning and some of the Utsava Murthies would have thrown away the Paasam/Ankusham
to make one hand free to cover the nose! - will look like all idols and sculptures doing Pranayaamam!

Strong smells of Camphor, Sambrani, Mattipal, Chandanam, Dasangam, Javvadu etc were probably
deliberately designated for usage in order to ' drown ' the body odor of humans in Temples.

I truly don't know what odor "India" emanates - whatever it is, it seems to be working in
keeping Foreign Investors away !

I think all air passengers should be made to undergo an 'odor scanner' - and if there is a 'bleep'
sound / or a red LED blinking, then taken aside and made to undergo a mandatory disinfectant bath.

What say ?

Dear Doc

Categories of people

1 . Stinking Rich.
2 . Stinking but not Rich.
3 . Not Stinking but Rich.
4 . Not Stinking and Not Rich.

I suppose they come in all shapes, sizes, colors AND ODORS !

See if you can find some kind of nasal drops to in-sensitize the olfactory
faculties - you could do great business.

Jasmine flower is considered as a sacred flower and is used for Alankaram
of Lord Vishnu and it is strung into big garlands. Jasmine oil is also produced
and is known for antiseptic, antispasmodic and expectorant therapeutic properties.
